I didn't have the dreaded bloodshot eyes from glue or the stuck together lashes or a heavy fan on a lash giving that clumped look. Instead it was a perfect application. I've gone back to them for questions over time and been told some wildly different things between their piercers. I've since moved to a different studio and had to have my downsized bar taken out becasue it seems inkvictus downsized mine when it wasn't ready. I've been told my options are to wait it out and live with a messed up job, or let it close up and have it redone. Its upsetting to have a hack job done on your body. It's also come to my attention some problematic practices going in within the studio, I won't be supporting them anymore.

I have a tattoo on my arm so I was super excited to scratch that itch one knows to have after getting a tattoo. When I entered the studio, immediately I was greeted by everyone there. I felt so incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The studio is fun, vibrant, and fun. I felt incredibly relaxed. Bre was AMAZING. We talked about our travels, mostly, which is a favorite topic of mine. She was informative about everything, guided me along the way, gave me a bathroom break, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the 3.5 hours I was there. Numbing cream definitely helped because there were some areas that I was feeling some scratching but it didn't bother me any (honestly, it's an adrenaline rush if anything). The eyeliner was a weird feeling at first but after a few minutes, I was comfortable and my eyes relaxed. Honestly, I expected worse. This was easy! I've been waking up every morning with a huge boost of confidence without even doing my makeup! I go in for an included touch-up next month and I even booked a lash lift and tint for March! The online booking process was super easy, and provided very detailed instructions of what to do once you arrive. The application took about 1.5 hours, and the environment in the studio is calm and relaxing (i almost fell asleep a few times, because I was so relaxed. haha). They have several after care products available in the studio, and you are sent home with detailed instructions on how to care for your lashes and make them last. My lashes look beautiful, and I'm very happy with the final results (I've already received so many compliments on my lashes, and I've only had them for one day)!

She comes out of her room and tells me to have a seat because she's still with a client. At 12:42pm, she and her client who is also Asian like herself, walk out laughing and chatting. They looked OK and when she was finished, I decided to look in the mirror for a couple of minutes to see how I actually felt about them but guess what? She didn't even give me a chance! I outlined my questions clearly and requested that communication remain in writing so there would be no misunderstandings. As shown in the screenshots, rather than addressing the pricing discrepancy or concerns in writing, I was told to "move forward with my next steps" because I was not willing to switch to a phone call. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and professionally before sharing this review. My request was simply for written clarification regarding a financial and service concern. I'm sharing this experience for transparency so others can make informed decisions. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not personally recommend her to anyone. What makes a good business absolutely depends on how they handle any arising issues and how they communicate. They said the couldn't do that with dip so I asked if they could do a regular French tip with dip. The older gentleman in the salon stated that he could do regular French tip look with dip powder, so I agreed to that. He began prepping my nails but did not ask what shape I wanted so I thought he would do that later. He began the dip process to create the French tip and had some issues on a few nails which caused the powder to become thick and bulky. Instead of him starting over he tried to salvage them. Long story short, I figured the nails would look mediocre just from watching the dip process and I was right. They were a bit misshapen, lumpy, and very thick. I was never asked what shape I wanted and for this general purpose, I just needed some nails that would photograph well enough that photoshop could assist. The total for my nails was $50 if anyone is wondering. This place used to be such a great place with workers who did excellent work, but there was a change of management around 2017-2018 and it has not been the same quality since. I'm sure they can do basic acrylics and manicures well (I did not experience a pedi) but specialized attention to detail is not an attribute that I observed in the last few times I've been since new management (this includes a long period of time between trying them after new management until now).
