I had my first appt with Miriam yesterday and what a relaxing session. She told me how to take care of my facial skin and I will follow the steps religiously. I also bought a facial power repair product from her and used a couple of times now and it made my skin silky and looks radiant. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep for a few minutes. Thanks a bunch, Miriam. read more

My interactions with this salon were through Miriam only. I purchased what I thought was a deal! 2 1-hour facials for $84, from Groupon. I had my first experience at the salon on August 14, 2024. That day, I was less than impressed. The salon is fair, in terms of ambiance. The service was not good. I have received one other facial - ever, and this was only my second, so I didn't have a wealth of knowledge as to what was "normal." However, while receiving the facial, my recurring thoughts were "Will she do anything different anytime soon, I wonder?" And "I wish this part where warm air blows at one side of my face would be over already." This part of the facial, where I was left unattended in the room alone probably took about 15 minutes. Since then, I hesitated to claim the second one, since the first was so bad, but I decided to try once again. I scheduled online in the groupme app. There was some confusion, with an error message, so I tried again, and unfortunately 2 additional appointments were booked. When Miriam called to discuss this issue with me, she was extremely rude. I have since had other interactions with her to try to get the scheduling squared away and each interaction, she is short-tempered and apparently disgusted with me, judging by her tone of voice. I will not go back to claim the second. I would not recommend this service or salon. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a facial and went to schedule an appointment. I tried calling multiple times to schedule (they rarely answer the phone) and when I got through, I was referred online which is fine. I had an appointment for 1:30pm this afternoon and the owner called me at 11 asking if I could come in 30 minutes later. I normally would no problem, but I had an appointment at 2:45 so I couldn't push it back any further. I offered to come earlier and she said no. I asked if I could still come at my scheduled appointment time that I made almost a week ahead of time - she said "that's gonna be an issue." I totally understand stuff happens, people call out, etc., but there was no explanation or apology. Seemed very unprofessional. She ended up getting me in, but it was uncomfortable as I felt bad the whole time. The facial itself was nice, but she asked if I wanted to add extractions for $20 more. I'm not sure what basic facial (which is what the Groupon was for) doesn't include some extractions. It seemed a bit rushed. I am definitely not someone who's overly sensitive, and I totally get things happen, but I was not impressed with the customer service. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. She left the room probably 7 times during the 1 hour session. To add: I just put some toner on my face with a cotton round and a bunch of concealer or foundation came off, which I didn't know was applied. I came in 100% barefaced. That's a first for me (I've gotten many facials.) The whole point of a facial is to leave with clean skin...I don't want it getting clogged with makeup after JUST getting it cleaned. I just wish she asked if I wanted it applied. read more

Great first facial! Katie was sweet and very informational. I learned a lot about my skin and how to care for it. I also learned about foods that affect my skin. My favorite was the scrub and hot towels! I love the hot towels !! And an added plus, I got a upper body and hand massage! read more

Feel free to message me with questions, but you're going to be in the best of hands here. I came in for a facial a few day ago when my skin was suffering from dryness & acne-induced inflammation. The next morning, the inflammation had gone down almost completely which shocked me because even a trip to the dermatologist doesn't show me that degree of improvement that quickly. I had a full-body buzz the rest of that evening and my skin is STILL glowing. The atmosphere is very zen and the Esthetician is what makes it all come together. She's warm and welcoming, friendly & informative - clearly born to do this. read more

I purchased a Groupon for the signature facial and enjoyed the full 1 hour session. The office was quiet and I was greeted by Mariam I believe the owner and one doing my facial. She was professional and recommended me some nice products to use as well. read more

Having same issue as a few other ladies. Mention groupon and they tell you go to our website which for 2 solid months are suspiciously all hours and all days are BOOKED. Will be contacting groupon about this so called business. If they truely cared about their business a groupon buyer could potentially become a permanent client but not at their blantant disreguard for a groupon user. read more

First of all I would love to have a chance to make an appointment. I have been trying to for a few weeks now and either no one answers the phone (and you cannot leave a message) or of the two times someone has answered the phone, I have gotten blown off. Seems as though as soon as I mention that I have a Groupon they no longer want to make an appointment for me. TERRIBLE customer service! Hopefully I will be able to use this Christmas present before next Christmas! read more

I've never been able to relax at a spa, EVER, but that all changed today when I visited Natural Scents! My facial was relaxing and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. My husband actually noticed how different (good!) my skin looks. I'll definitely be back. Thank you! read more

Oh and also to make it worse they don't answer so you can't even reschedule or cancel an appointment and they charge you if you don't show up. You people are a joke!! read more

In desperate need of a facial I randomly selected Natural Scents; seriously a hidden gem amongst brick suites...I was nervous but knew I needed some hydration on my skin...Miriam was amazing! She took her time to assess and evaluate my skin, suggested a customized deep cleansing & hydration facial that would benefit my needs... My face feels so soft & hydrated upon leaving, glad I found Miriam! Definitely will be returning! read more

Yesterday, I had my first facial experience at Natural Scents Spa -it was a wonderful facial (w/excellent Pevonia products). Miriam (owner) was very thoughtful & thorough. I had a Groupon for a signature facial & upon arrival l decided to upgrade to an anti-aging facial. The spa is by appointment only & was immaculate. I left w/my skin feeling refreshed & dewy rather than sticky. I will definitely book follow-up services. read more

WHAT A JOKE. If I could give ZERO stars I would. The woman here is UNBELIEVABLY rude and unprofessional. I called to set up an apt BEFORE mentioning that I had a Groupon as some places will push you way out because of that and this place had those reviews, and sure enough as soon as I mentioned it her attitude completely changed. I tried to ignore it. I showed up for my apt and this woman literally did not even say hi (I'm not an over sensitive person either trust me) before saying "do you have an apt" with a condescending look. I said yes, I confirmed the 11:30 and she made some BULLCRAP excuse saying I didn't "text her my information" (meaning literally just my name and phone number) when I gave her ALL OF MY INFO on the phone. I told her that and she proceeded to shake her head and say "uh uh" in front of several other people. What professional business makes clients text them anyways?? I literally walked out and said forget about it. Go somewhere where there are sweet and professional employees so you can actually have a relaxing time. On a side note, the building is old and their suite is tiny. The funny thing is she had no idea I work for a PR company that monitors and reviews Raleigh's Health & Wellness community. read more

Excellent facial. Professional service and after made suggestions but did not push products. I will definitely go back!

Miriam was very professional and customized the facial to my skin type. It was very relaxing and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend going here. read more

I experienced the same thing as Melissa. I called to make an appointment and when I mentioned that I had a Groupon, I was immediately referred to the website to make an appointment online. Not very friendly I must add. I went online and made appointment for today which is Friday at 5 p.m. I actually left work early and figured I would work after 6 p.m. to finish up what I needed to do. Well, it is 5:15 and I am outside in my car because the young lady indicated that she did not have me anywhere in her system. So I don't have an appointment today or any other day. It does seem that Groupon purchases are not welcome at these facilities. I suggest that everyone be mindful of purchasing Groupons or vouchers from Living Social. Long story short, I'm going to have to work from 6 o'clock on tonight anyway with no facial, and with absolutely no need to have taken off work to begin with. So yes, I'm pissed. And actually, I will not be back to this business and I don't even care whether this voucher gets used. I think I'd rather take a loss read more

Miriam was great! The facial was super relaxing and she took the time to analyze my skin and helped me with products that match it. I really needed this! Thanks again Miriam! I will be returning. read more

I purchased a Groupon for two facials. Icalled to make an appointment and was told to go online and do it. I went to the website and made an appointment for the next day at 10 am. I showed up at 10 am and no one was there. The door was locked. I waited 15 minutes and called the number a few times. I finally got an answer at 10:20 am. The lady said she had no record of my appointment. From my smart phone I went to the appointment page and couldn't see my appointment. According to what I could see, though, she had openings later in the day. She said she had a 10:30 appointment. When I asked if I could come in later, she said no. She did not offer to make an appointment for a different day and was completely unapologetic about her system not working. I was NOT impressed at all by the customer service. She seemed totally uninterested in helping me or actually booking me for the Groupon appointment. Honestly, I have ZERO interest in having this lady give me a facial (much less TWO, which is what I bought). I contacted Groupon and they've refunded my money. All this was on my birthday, too! I was able to get a last-minute appointment up the street at Eco-Friendly Beauty Bar and they couldn't have been nicer. read more

One of the best facials I have had! She took time doing a skin analysis before suggesting several facials to suit my needs. Did not push any products, unlike so many of these Spas. read more
