Awful. Do not let these people put chemicals anywhere near your eyes…read more I came today for a lash lift and tint service, and to say I'm beyond regretful is an understatement. (I normally go to Katy Heyings in Durham, but wasn't able to schedule with her before my flight out this Thursday. Highly recommend going to her if you're thinking about getting a lash lift and tint.) My appointment was at 10:30 AM, and for this service, I'm usually in and out within the hour. I, however, was here for 2 HOURS. The technicians were so focused on quantity and on bouncing between clients that the quality of service was nonexistent. My technician used so much perming and tinting solution during the lash lift and tint service that it began to sear my eyes and burn my eyelids. I asked if they had anything to flush my eyes with (which any qualified technician should have when using chemicals near the eyes), only to be given wet paper towels. I was genuinely surprised that this place hasn't been sued yet, if this is standard practice. Post service, my lashes are now extremely over-processed to the point where, every time I open my eyes, they get stuck in my eyelid crease, and my bottom lashes are fried and crimped every which way outside of a lovely curl. Don't get me started on how sore and raw my eyes are. I've included a picture showcasing the lashes and how irritated my eyes STILL are 2 hours after. You can look at other recent reviews specifically for this service and see individuals quoting the same issues. I've had this service done so many other times and have never had this issue. The high reviews are misleading and mainly focus on brow services; I should have been more cautious. Hopefully, this review can help keep someone else safe in the future. Save your money, save your time, and save your lashes. Avoid this place at all costs.

I booked my appointment online and received confirmation with Nidhi. When I arrived, Rosemary took…read moreme back to wash my hair and then brought me to Engin, who was introduced as a "Master" stylist. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Engin spent less than two minutes actually cutting my hair and never really asked how I style it or what I wanted beyond the basics. After that, Rosemary returned to dry my hair while Engin moved on to another client. About 15 minutes later, he came back, finished blow-drying my hair, used thinning shears to remove some of the heaviness, and styled it with the dryer in a way that looked nothing like how I came in. Out of the 45 minutes I spent in the salon, only about 3 minutes were spent cutting my hair and around 15 minutes were spent blow-drying it. For a $75 haircut, I expected much more care, attention, and skill. I left feeling like I paid for a rushed cut that did not reflect the price. I would not recommend this solan.

However, my last time, what really made me not want to go back. I got a gel x manicure and a gel.Pedicure and it was done poorly. The acrylic nails were fine.However my toes were not. The nail tech did the wrong color and I mentioned it three times and was dismissed. As I was leaving, I very much noticed the difference and brought it to the attention of the staff. It seemed like the nail tech got upset due to the lack of communication, but I felt very uncomfortable. And dismissed because I had mentioned this several times and the lack of communication made the layers way too much. They ended up putting the layers that I needed to make the right shade. However, because there were so many layers, the nail polish ended up not being dry.Even like fifteen minutes after leaving. My toes because of this were essentially chipped, and the nail polish was stripped as I walked. This was very frustrating because it could have been avoided. Because of the issue with the nail polish, it ended up taking much much longer than expected. And that also cut into my work.And I had to reschedule a client because of it. I know people make mistakes.However, I wish that I was heard at the first time. That would have saved my nails being done incorrectly. That would have saved my extra time it took.

This isn't a typical salon, but she keeps it clean. This is not a typical spa experience, and the location wasn't what I was expecting. Sugarland is more like going over to your girlfriend's house for some grooming help. I saw her changing her gloves when she needed to get more from the jar, so that was reassuring in terms of cleanliness. While I was changing, she already started removing the disposable liner and spraying down the table already. I was actually surprised at the smoothness of my skin afterwards. I guess I'm hooked on sugaring. It's more than I'd like to pay compared to regular waxing (eg. $50).... But I think sugaring is better for my skin.
