The staff was rude and argumentative when I asked for a specific service. I knew exactly what I wanted, but they repeatedly tried to convince me to choose a different service, even after I made it clear I was only there for the one I requested. It became frustrating and made the experience uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the nail technician nicked my cuticles on three different fingers badly enough that they bled, and I now have scabs around those nails. After giving this salon multiple chances, I will not be returning. They definitely need to improve their customer service and be more respectful of what their clients are asking for.

This was soon after salons were allowed to reopen during the covid pandemic, so getting an appointment was particularly challenging. I'd already determined that Anna Craig was my top choice because my hair is naturally quite curly and her reviews everywhere are fabulous. She specializes in cutting curly hair. The first couple of times I looked at her appointment calendar, there was a 6-8 week wait! One day I checked again and there must have been a cancelation because I was able to get an appointment just a few days later. Anna knew the correct way to bundle my hair for the donation, and made quick work of that. She took one look at the photo I'd brought with me, and within 35 minutes, she'd washed, cut, and dried my hair to perfection. It's been a couple of weeks since my cut and I still love it. I'll be going back next month!
