I don't normally write reviews though I thought this is something that I would have wanted to know before coming. To start the vibe when I walked in was off, noone came up to me for a few minutes. When I finally sat down the I felt as though they ignored me, and didn't offer me a drink like everyone else had. The lights were 3 diffrent colors and levels, and it gave me a headace, it was loud and strange. The service I recieved was cheaply done and seemed as though the polish had been liquified, making it look bad on nails. I was sat at the dryer for 25 minutes, even though it was dry while one lady was just walking around. They were working on a massage chair when I walked in not making it feel like a nail salon. Overall I felt that I could do it better on myself, I will not be returning. read more

I made an appointment here a day ahead. There was no wait and no crowd which I loved. I received a Basic manicure and House Pedicure service here from Alexia. Alexia is very skilled and can get you in and out. She gave my legs a Hot Stone Massage as part of the pedicure service which was a very nice touch. She was very personable and I would definitely book with her again. Her service was excellence. My only complaint had nothing to do with the employees, but was equipment-related. The fans used to dry my nails at the end were cold and it was already a cold, rainy winter night. Not a very soothing way to end a pampering evening. The atmosphere here is nice- decor/massage chairs/sinks are all beautiful and the place looks very clean. My nails came out beautifully, my manicurist spent awhile cleaning up my cuticles (which I appreciate because I feel as though a lot of people tend to rush through this step) and she also spent a lot of time making sure her polish application was precise and cleaned up the edges. I am so pleased with how my nails turned out. I gave this place three stars because the service here was disappointing. The staff is not super friendly- when I had asked to get the combo deal found online (Pedi and gel mani for $56) she huffed out a "yes" and then turned to her coworker and muttered something in a different language. She could have been talking about something completely different but the timing felt as though she was disgruntled with me? Unclear. Lol. Once my friend left she did perk up a little more and spoke kindly to me. Unsure if I'll be back again. I don't recommend this nail salon to no one. This place gave me a nasty nail fungus on both my toes. I'm now seeing a podiatrist to treat the nail fungus. The only thing they did was give me something to treat the fungus . Took no accountability. They didn't offer to compensate me or pay for my podiatry treatment. I love my pedicure but did not love the service. The guy who did my nails maybe said 4 or 5 words my entire visit. If it's a language thing, I would understand but he also didn't smile, not once. There's no language barrier when it comes to being friendly and smiling. I also noticed the same attitude from the other workers, like the one working on my friend's nails. I can tell that she said something snarky about my friend to her coworker in Vietnamese when my friend asked about their online specials. Not cool. I'm just used to my nail salon in San Antonio always being super friendly and welcoming. Did not get that feel from this place at all. Also, the guy who did my nails was a little rough. He kept cutting at one of the cuticles on my left foot and it seriously hurt while he was doing so. Then he was digging at the cuticle of my big toe on my right foot, that one actually started to bleed. Not a fan of pain while getting a pedicure. I mean my nails look good. So, I guess pain is the price you pay for good looking nails. Will I be back? I'm thinking probably not because there are several other nail salons in the vicinity that deserve a chance. I visited this nail spa for the first time on my birthday, and I was really pleased with the service that I received. The location does a good job of social distancing including utilizing plexiglass, and all of the staff are wearing masks. They also take your temperature. And, the nail tech who assisted me you did a great job on my gel polish and manicure. I would love to return to her again. It's a really beautiful space, with ample space to host a large party, like a bridal party. I would recommend. read more

I went with high hopes after a coworker had good results here. Unfortunately my results were not. There were good choices of colors and I didn't have much of a wait at all. I got a full acrylic set with gel. I didn't get a chance to take a good look at them in the dim light of the salon and didn't really see how bad they were done until after I left and didn't have time to go back. Initially I was going to go back and have them repair them and ultimately decided I didn't want them to touch my hands again. I got nicked with the drill and started bleeding to which my nail tech said "it hurts me more than it hurts you." Really? My thumbnails were done so widely it's actually painful. I have acrylic down in my cuticles that I had to chip out with tweezers because it was hurting so badly. After the gel polish was done rubbing alcohol was used to take off the tacky layer and he scrubbed all over where I had been nicked with no regard for the burning (alcohol in an open wound). Everything was done with the drill. No cuticle work by hand at all. Didn't even brush off the dust from drilling before putting on the acrylic. My middle finger nail is literally pointing up at I should've spoken up at the time and I didn't so that's on me. But the job was done too fast, with little regard. I will definitely not be back and will find someone else to repair my nails. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but please go more slowly and be more considerate with your clients. read more

I have been here couple times and always feel pleasant after I got my nail done, the price just went up a bit but it's worth after all. My boyfriend rarely got his feet done but he loves pedicures now after the lady took out his ingrown toe nail. The customer service is nice and friendly. They do offer the drinks when you first sit in. Plus I had no idea what color I want on my nail but my nail tech was still pretty patient helping me out. I end up getting the color that she picked for me. She seems to be young but very professional (as how she acts to me and how my nails turn out). They are talkative and nice with us. Didn't really catch up what is my nail teach name but I know Lily did a great pedicure for my boyfriend. I love how my nails still looking good when it grows out. It would be better if you have appointment because they were crazy busy when I came. Highly recommended!!! read more

I scheduled an acrylic refill with gel polish and a pedicure appointment with Kim based off a referral. Upon our initial encounter, I showed Kim a picture of what I wanted and she said she could to do it. She started my nail service, but was constantly interrupted (with phone calls and getting up to answer customer's questions). She informed me that after she finished filing and shaping my nails that I would have to wait until my pedicure was complete; then she would polish my nails. This is when it went down hill. I was given a person who had limited experience with pedicures. The first red flag was that he was the only pedicurist not wearing gloves. His work pace was very cautious and slow. He didn't appear to be confident which had me leary for him to continue. However, I'm open to new hires practicing their skills; we've all been there. The second red flag was when he drilled off 75% of the gel polish versus soaking the nails with cotton balls with acetone and wrapping them in foil. When I inquired about his method he said, "this how I do it, everyone has their own method." I replied that I'd prefer to have you soak them. The third red flag was when he asked me what type of shape I'd prefer. I replied square round. He started clipping the sides of my toenails to round them out (this will give someone ingrown toenail) and clipped too much of the nail on top. This was my breaking point. I politely asked for someone else because clearly he didn't know what he was doing. Anna was sent to complete the service and she was great! Now onto phase 2- I wanted an orange color contrast with a light orange and a dark orange color on alternate nails on my hands . Unbeknownst to me, Ana (the pedicurist) had placed the colors I selected back on the shelf. Kim asks, "what color do you want? " I said, "I had two colors together on the table." She responds, "I don't know where they are?" (Gives me a frustrated look with an eye roll ) Next she brings me a book with gel polish color and slams it on the table. Since I'm unable to find the original color I walked to polish wall to look for it. Kim stood by her chair and watched me search for the color. I then returned to my seat and just picked a different color. Although, this experience was less than pleasant I did leave a tip for both services. I would endorse this business to anyone. read more

I've been going to Princess Nail for years, with varying levels of satisfaction, but my experience today means I'll never go back. the nail technician never looked at me or smiled or said more than 10 words. The gel manicure left my nails too short, ragged, and with dirt under two of the nails. He wore a grubby jacket like some roughneck off the street. The other employees and some of the customers joked loudly among themselves, calling to each other from across the room. The entire visit was very unsatisfactory. I'll never go back there. read more

I should have read the review prior to going in. I had my son (15) go in for a basic pedicure and asked if the lady was able to get a minor ingrown toenail out and she said yes. Son said his foot was hurting afterwards and I assumed it was sore from pulling ingrown nail out which can be painful. Less than a week later we ended up in urgent care with his toe now infected and doctor said the woman did a terrible job cutting nail and made it so much worse. NEVER EVER EVER go back here! My son has to be on antibiotics for a week before they can go in and remove. This salon should be closed down, what a waste of time and money! read more

I came here thinking that they did sculptured gel nails (as stated on the website). I walked in told the guy upfront that I wanted an overlay gel fill and 2 sculptured nails. I have pretty long natural nails and broke 2 in half (just wanted them all the same length). He said okay, I picked out my nail color, and was taken to my nail tech about 5 minutes later. The nail tech was kinda friendly and worked super fast removing old polish and gel. When it came time to repair my broken nails, he reached for super glue and fake nails. I snatched my hand back and explained exactly what I wanted. Apparently, they do not offer sculptured nail services and he couldn't fix my nail without the fake nail. So, I told him to just do the overlay on all 10 nails without the repair. He laughed and said it would look weird. I said the only thing weird is walking around with halfway finished nails and I would find someone to fix his mistake. He proceed to do the overlay (super thick) and misshape my tapered coffin nails (he did lopsided square?). I asked him to fix the shape and it ended up wayyy worse. At least the polish was applied right. I begrudgingly paid (super overpriced) because I was in too much of a hurry to argue. Not returning. Would not recommend anyone. read more

I usually come to get a pedicure and overlay and they usually last a mnth but not this time the overlay literally lasted a week before lifting up where i can just take it off and my heels are hard. I so rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. Everyone was very nice, but I received several scrapes and cuts on my heels and toes. I have never bled like this in the many many times I have had a pedicure. Super fun when they then use that salt scrub... I'm not sure if my lady just didn't notice?? Most people would have refused to pay I'm sure, but I was with a group of friends and didn't want to make a scene. There are several other places in the Brier Creek shopping center. Pick another one!! On a side note, they have a separate bar area where I got a delicious pina colada that helped me forget about the pain! Update: I do go back the next day and show them my still open and bleeding wounds so they could talk to my lady and hopefully teach her how to not do that to someone else. They were pretty nice about it and did refund my money. I'm glad I went back, it hurt all day walking in my shoes. read more

The pedicures seemed rush and the higher tier pedicures didn't seem to include what must places include. I don't mind paying more for good service but that was not the case here. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! I came to this nails salon with my daughter and her friend to get pedicures. Once I was finally seated after waiting for 15 minutes, my technician disappeared to get supplies for what I felt was longer than necessary. She proceeded to clean up the cuticles on my 6 of my toes and then left for a break. Upon her return, she wreaked of cigarette smoke. She continued with the "pedicure," which turned out to be her stumbling around my toes with the nippers for another 15 minutes. I had enough and refused to let her continue. My daughter and her friend( who's tech coughed multiple times on her legs without covering her mouth) had received a full pedicure and I only had six of my toes dug at. We went to pay for the two complete pedis and explain to management why I didn't feel comfortable paying for the third. In the end: my technician didn't recognize me, management asked her if she was on medication, and I ended up paying $21 to get 6 of my toes tinkered with and to have my whole entire pinky toenail clipped off (which I didn't realize until I arrived at home) Unfortunately, this snip-it does not do the whole story justice. But it's safe to say we will not be returning and I suggest you take your money and spend it at relax foot spa in brier creek. read more

I have been going since it opened. I continue to go back, if that means anything. I have had a few issues. First, it's expensive for the area. Secondly, their customer perks like coffee or tea were removed. I am not a wine drinker. (This has nothing to do with the end product, but I am looking for an overall relaxing experience.) Also, they charge $5 to remove their gel application. You would think that they could either mention it when you get it done, or not charge it if you had the application done by them. The gel application does look good for 2-3 weeks. You can get 3 if you are careful. Lindy, Trina and Glen have been great. They take their time and I have been very pleased. The utensils are sanitized and the place is clean. There is no rewards program. When most places offer some incentive for repeat business, you expect to be wowed by places that only have their merit. I can't say I was wowed, but pleased. read more

I came in to have SNS removed & get a manicure. While soaking in hot acetone for 30 minutes , I watched several people that came in after me finish & leave. Finally someone came over to do my nails after who I'm assuming is the manager call out for someone to come assist me several times. Once the technician got to me, they added more hot water making the now 45 minutes of soaking almost unbearable. Using a combination of tools & her own nails in an attempt to scrape mine off I decided I'd had enough.
