I have to say they did a great job! He did the design I wanted with only one hiccup. Because I got a full set, you could see my own nails under. I asked them to fix it after because it looked weird. One of the other guys added a glittery pink to make it less visible! None the less they did a great job and I will definitely be coming back here! read more

My gel manicure nails always looked great when I left. Then they started tearing off. I asked Lee what was causing it. No explanation. The tearing and ripping continued. Then I looked on the internet and found out that gel could make your natural nails very thin. This had happened to me which was never acknowledged by Lee. No more gel manicures and no more Lee for me. It took MONTHS for my nails to be normal again. read more

I have been to this location several times in the past and really liked the staff...very friendly etc...however last week i went in i did not recognize anyone so i am not sure if they have changed owners or what. There was a older lady who did my pedicure and she literally cut a hole about a inch long on my big toenail bed.....talk about painful...also it was bleeding for at least 10 mins...not to mention even without the chunk taken out of my toe it was the worst pedicure i have ever had... still has a scab after about a week. Never go to this place. I asked two technicians before I sat down if they were able to do what I wanted and was ensured that I would get just that. I was in this establishment for 1.5 hours with 4 different technicians and no one could get it right. At the end of the service the technician cut my nails and told me I didn't have to pay. I am beyond upset. I had the opportunity to go elsewhere but was assured by their staff that I would get what I wanted. I don't understand how they're still in business. I'll admit, I did not want to like this place and I did not want the reviews to accurate. I'm more of a nail salon kinda girl and this place screams nail "shop"...there's a difference, trust me. I didn't particularly care for the way it looked but I'm glad I put that aside and checked it out. It's your typical sign your name pick out a color from either the selection of bottles of polish or the hand painted spiral nail samples they pass around and get sent to a chair place. What's not typical is the end result. I've been 4 times and to 2 different nail technicians and have gotten consistently great work each time. They're also time efficient. I usually get a full pedicure with added paraffin treatment and gel fingernail polish all under 1.5 hours. I've also never felt like it was a rush job. One of the best things about this shop is they have every color imaginable...you'd likely never run out of options. Reasonably priced and good work. read more

I just recently moved to Raleigh a couple of months ago from Philadelphia and thought I would never find another good nail salon. After trying a couple in the Raleigh area and becoming very disappointed with the end results, I finally found a place that does a great job. Adam did a great job and he was very particular with the details in getting my manicure to look exactly the way I wanted. I had gotten the gel powder french manicure and Adam made my nails look great and natural. I didn't want them to look too thick which the other salons made my nails look like talons and applied so much gel that they looked awful. Visited on April 12, 2015 as a birthday present for myself & a treat for good grades for my niece. What a disappointment! I communicated with the gentleman at the front desk & told him the services I'd need: pedicure, gel removal/replacement for my fingernails, design on my ring finger - for myself - & a polish change & nail design for my niece. I was instructed to sit at a table while my niece was taken to another table to begin her services. Her nails were painted, & she was taken to a drying station. What promised to be a great experience then changed. The man with whom I communicated my needs began sawing my nails - he didn't seem to realize that I already had gel polish on my nails even though I had told him when he asked me how he could help me. Realizing this process was going to take longer than I had anticipated, I told him that I was no longer interested in a pedicure & that I'd rather just have a polish change on my toenails. He suddenly remembered that I had asked for a pedicure, & rushed to "fix the water". He did offer me a drink (since my services were over $20) & fixed the settings on the massage chair. That's where his hospitality ended & the true nightmare began. He had apparently called another woman in to help him because there were too many clients & not enough attendants. The woman who came in informed me that it was her day off & that she wanted to leave after doing my fingernails. She then went to get a drying UV machine that she plugged in & leveled on my lap - all while I was sitting with my legs & feet immersed IN WATER! While balancing this electronic device on my legs, another woman came to do my pedicure. So I had to make sure not to electrocute myself while my legs & feet were being pulled out of & put back into water. It was such an uncomfortable position to be in, but neither woman seemed concerned or cognizant as they chatted amongst themselves. The woman who was working on my fingernails finally finished, unplugged the drying device, & went to work on another woman's feet. All while this was happening, my niece was still at the drying station. From what I could tell, her nails had not been designed; she was left there & forgotten. I asked her to come over to the area where I was so that I could inspect her nails. Just as I had suspected, her nails had no design. I pointed this out - as well as my plain fingernails - to both the woman who was still working on my feet & the woman who had been working on my fingernails, & they looked at each other, then at me. "You didn't say you wanted a design," one of the women said. "Yes, I did," I informed them both. The woman who worked on my fingernails looked at my nails & said, "You can't have a design. Your nails are too short." Perplexed, I pointed out to her that I had arrived with a design on my short nails... to which she replied, "They're shorter now." True, they had been filed down, but they were not too short to be designed. I've been to a number of nail salons, with the same length nails, & I've always come out with a design. To be told that I could not have one further angered me! It's one thing to suggest that I not get my nails designed, but to tell me that I *can't* have a design was a slap in the face, after everything else that had transpired! Sensing my frustration, she agreed to design them. But I was already fed up & refused to let her touch my fingernails again. Instead, I asked if someone could design my niece's nails, which were significantly longer than mine. By the end of this nightmare, my niece's nails were pretty... but considering all of the unprofessional conduct & human risk that we had to endure, it was but a small victory. I will never grace the doors of that mediocre (so far from "expert"!!!) nail salon ever again, so long as I can help it! read more

Although I was early, I was a bit aprehensive about getting my nails done in a salon that was completely empty on a Saturday morning. I thought I would give them a chance for a Gel mani and a pedicure since they're located so closely to home. I was the only customer there for about 20 minutes which was nice. Let me say that the staff was especially pleasant and kind. Unfortunately, I wasn't extremely pleased with the quality of the polish job I received. The massage that was given with the pedi was relaxing, however, the polish job needed corrections that I had to point out. One nail in particular was pretty noticible, but I didn't have time to have it corrected as well. The nail polishing job was also messier than I am accustomed to. They also do not have many colors in gel with matching polish in regular which I am also pretty accustomed to in other salons. I was also a bit concerned about the tub liners they use in their pedi stations. The salons I frequent change these bowl liners with each new customer, It appears this salon just rinses the liners and reuses. I will have to look into the sanitation guidelines on the use of the liners to see if this is advisable or not. Overall, if I am ever pressed for time and convenient location, I will consider returning. It's not likely that I would make it my regular salon. read more

And oh my am I glad I did! Tina is the sweetest person and very talented at her craft! They were quick to get me in as a walkin, i had a heavenly standard pedicure where Brenda literally hooked up my leg massage, spending at least 10 mins each leg on a firm leg massage. Usually I am lucky to get 5 minutes on both legs combined so I was so thankful for the extra TLC. I got a beautiful french manicure and was satisfied by the average pricing here ($38 for reg mani & pedi & i had a $5 extra for french). Bueno!! read more

We did a walk in with 2 of us and they had us write our names and what we wanted. -it was a friday afternoon so the wait was pretty long ~1hr but the actual time it took for them to do my nails was like 15 mins. -it's been about a week and my nails still look amazing and I get compliments on them. This place is an absolute mess. They are rude. My nails are messy. When I informed them that my nails didn't look the best they could, they ALL got extremely disrespectful. One of the nail techs has the audacity to say to me, if I didn't like the way my nails were done that I should go home and do it myself. I am paying for a service and if that service isn't done correctly, I should have a right to ask for it to be adjusted. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more
