I've been coming here for a year and was happy with it. It's a shame this new management gets to keep the rating of the old one. My first time here under new management not only do my nails look like my 5 year old niece did them, but I was laughed at the entire time by my nail tech (Linda) who cut my skin with the drill 6 times and called me a baby when I flinched back. I had to ask her to paint all the way to my cuticle so my nails didn't look 2 weeks grown out. I had to ask her to file down a lump on the side of a nail that looked like a growth. I had to ask her to get the polish off of my skin. And I still left with the worst nails I've ever had. I now have to pay $ at another salon to have them fixed and I'm so upset. They technicians, if that is the proper term, all take their time and get the job completed the way we like it. I go once a month for a pedicure and no matter who my technician is they do a great job. They take the time to really remove my calluses. I was visiting Raleigh and needed to get a mani + pedi done last minute. I walked in to see if they could fit me in and there was no wait. The place was really clean and they put shields up in between you and your technician. I really appreciated that they put effort into keeping me safe as well as themselves. My nail tech was Glen. She was so lovely and did such a great job on my nails! I ended up doing gel on my fingers and paint on my toes + got my toes waxed! The whole experience was great and price is affordable. One would think because of its location it would be a little more upscale. It was gross. The older man (I forgot his name) was filthy, his nails were beyond sharp, long and dirty and he didn't know how to file. Plus at the end after my nails were polished I smeared one and he was just going to polish right over it leaving it bumped looking!!! I will never walk into that salon again or recommend. Okay so I had been going here for a few years and I assume they're under new management becaussseeeee....... I literally went in for a simple pedicure, I left the salon feeling pretty good, and although I received a deluxe pedicure my right big toe was a little sore. when I looked at my feet when I got to the car, I realized the paint job was so bad that I could've done this at home. The next morning I still had pain in my right big toe and as I examine it and compare it to my other toe, my right toe is swollen and turning PURPLE!!!!! Long story short, I ran to urgent care and had it checked out turns out I had a minor infection from the salon tools or something which was verified by a doctor!!! Won't be returning EVER! First time visiting this place, and definitely won't be back. Linda, the nail tech, was using the drill to remove top layer of my dip manicure. She was reckless and took a piece of skin off my finger. The place was a bit dirty and cluttered, and my dip manicure was less than desirable. The tips of my fingernails are showing through, because the paint job was terrible and she filed everything off. My fingers were also left a mess with the dip powder dried on and around the nail bed. I should have never strayed from my original nail salon as this was a waste of money. read more

Ok I hate that I have to repost....although I still agree with my previous post below, the service in the nail salon was great but my gel nail polish that cost over $30 did not even last one full week. Less than a week later I was washing my hair in the shower and multiple nail polish completely peeled off. Before that, a couple days after my manicure, two nails chipped. Super frustrated. I thought I was getting a good deal, but not so much. I called to ask if they do SNS powder nails because I am tough on my hands and need that extra strength. They said yes so I made an appointment. Although everyone in the salon is very friendly, SNS is not their forte. Just two days after I got my nails done, I broke one by putting on my pants. Putting on my sweatpants. I couldn't believe it. They did welcomed me back and fix my nail for free. But the next day another nail broke. And just before writing this another nail broke by putting on a shirt. I've been going here regularly since September and I love this place so much. I see Mai and she is so amazingly talented. I can go 4 weeks and a nail doesn't chip or come off... granted they desperately need a fill in at 4 weeks but they stay on! I'm known to change up the shape of them quite often and she always does a phenomenal job every time. She'll squeeze me in when I swing by without an appointment. Nice people, but the few times that I've gone, I've left less than pleased. Most recently I got acrylic tips put on with colored powder, and the color turned out fine but the nails themselves are rather lumpy and some of the tips were not put on straight. read more

I was referred by my gf. She told me exactly who to call and schedule the appointment with since I had just moved to the area. The location is (not the actual salon-it was average) was a great place to hang out for the day. I will NOT be returning due the owner. He is rude, overbearing and pretty much in the way creating a buzz kill. The pedi was mediocre. The nail tech (younger girl) was creative and offered some great ideas. I had a couple of issues in addition to the owner: there were no prices quoted, no prices posted and no collateral for me to verify my pricing was what others were being charged. There were no options for type of pedi presented so I'm assuming a basic is all they have. I received gel on toes and SNS/ANC powder dip color. I paid around $88 for the combined services. I'll definitely visit the shopping center to check out the boutique restaurants but I'll skip the nail salon visit. read more

While they were busy, Jason had no problem taking me right in. I explained the issues and he walked me through how he can fix it. The knowledge and professionalism was outstanding! The guy I got for a gel polish change did a pretty bad job, and when I tried to offer suggestions or tell him the nail shape I like, I realized he didn't speak a lick of English.
