To speak objectively about this salon. The atmosphere is nice and calm. Where my issue with this salon lies is in the prices. I went in blind price wise. I have been getting dip powder manicures for a while. No where do I remember having to pay more that 60$ (not including tip) for a dip powder and designs. I feel like the shop micocharged me. My feet and hands are my greatest tools. When I came in Ms Kelly made me feel so welcomed, and at home. As my feet soaked my body melted. Then after my pure moment of relaxation! I felt so grounded. First off, I wanna say this is the best salon I have ever been to. All my life I have been hopping from salon to salon trying to find a nail tech that was good enough and who I could connect with. Celebration is the place! All of the nail techs are amazing. They always greet you and have positive energy non-stop. My nail tech, personally my favorite is Keita. She is amazing. She takes her time and always impresses me by the time she is done. Unlike other nail salons, Keita doesn't rush. I am always satisfied when I leave the salon. This place is a dream come true! I love my creative gel manicure by Ana. She's a blunt, honest woman and small business owner and I dig that about her. Celebration Nails was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I went in. My gel manicure was $30 + $12 for extensive design (which is totally fair - it was time consuming). I was told if I simply wanted polish changed they have a free gel polish removal policy and it's simply $20 for gel polish. (Note: manicure and a simple gel polish are 2 different things.) I was a walk-in pedicure and the staff had an open spot; nice to soak for a few minutes before starting. It was amazingly relaxing. Massage chairs are everything when you're in pain, so I kept that thing busy the entire time! My nail tech was wonderful and answered my questions, and even repaired a nail for me. This was the worst manicure ever. The man doing my nails cut my fingers three times and they bled. I didn't get an apology or any acknowledgment that my fingers were bleeding. Ok so I wanted to make sure that I give an accurate review of this salon hence the multiple check ins before a review. The salon is located in the nook of the shopping center beside the fitness connection. The inside of the facility is bright and clean and the staff is inviting upon entry. I have received different services from this salon and must say that you have to find the nail tech that works for you. I have had a gel polish manicure, regular pedicure, acrylic fill in and express pedicure. I have only had one negative experience in which a nail tech did a terrible job on my acrylic fill in, however when i called to speak with the manager she made sure that I could come back and have them fixed. I love the energy and the conversations had while at this nail salon. It's a good time and a great atmosphere. I have not experienced all of the nail techs but I can recommend Nikki, Missy and Stephanie. They also have an online appointment system which makes booking so simple and easy. My manicure was very messy, she had nail polish all over my hands, and she didn't fill in the entire nail with polish. I asked her for a design on the ring finger of each hand twice and she said no. I don't like to write a bad review, so I'll try to state the good with the bad. The good: My nails look great, people there are friendly, and the massage chair was comfortable. The bad: 1) It's not a good sign when you have to ask about whether or not their implements are sanitized in between uses, but if the question is asked, don't take offense. Its important to feel safe and that you're receiving quality service in a clean environment. I have every right to be concerned about protecting my health. Reassure your customer and demonstrate your standards for cleanliness. Dont pull a sharp object out of a basket with fingernail clippings sitting in it, wipe it on a towel, and claim that your equipment is sanitary. I don't believe it. 2) It was unclear who was helping me and what was going on because multiple people were asking me questions. Also, what was discussed by phone was reversed in person, so services were unclear. Walk me through what to expect so I will know what is coming. 3) I didn't really get the whole "pampered customer" vibe from this place. It was a little too casual. For instance, it's just a little strange to wave your hand in a general direction and tell your customer to go "over there" for x, y, z. Where is "over there"? Take the time to walk your customer over there, make sure they are comfortable, and offer them refreshments. 4) Try to make conversation occasionally. Most of the time I felt like a third or fourth wheel instead of being included. I wasn't on my phone, so I don't think I was giving off a "leave me out of conversation" vibe. Staff talked to each other, but not so much the customers. Nail salons, spas, and hair salons are places for ladies to go to get pampered, talk to others, and relax. They really only got one out of the three there. 5) Make sure you introduce yourself. 6) Why do you have your phone plugged in right there by the big basin of pedicure water? Not sure if I'll go back yet. I'm waiting to see if the cut on my cuticle heals well. read more

Came here last time and loved the shape and color. Came in again, expecting the same, and was disappointed. After being nicked four times, and being told it was because my skin was dry ( but it wasn't last time?), that's where it started going downhill. I was asked what shape I would like and replied "coffin", last time the shape was amazing, this time, my middle nail was left as wide as my knuckle. FYI: they charge you just to shape your nails. The nail tech I had both times, was on and off her phone the whole time while doing my nails. So unprofessional. She'd be in the middle of filing or drilling, pause, send a text, then continue. Another thing that threw me off was at the end she said "it'll be $45", continued to walk, and then said "oh wait, never mind, it's $50 because nail take off is $10". This is a nail salon tucked away in the shopping center Six Forks at Celebration. It's been there for several years. They offer a variety of services for your nails..waxing..etc. I can only speak on gel manicures and acrylic fill ins. I've frequented several times and each experience has been good for the most part. Appointments can be booked through their website which is convenient. Prices are fair. The look of the salon is not luxurious and could probably stand a little upgrade, but the customer service makes up for that. I always have Missy to do my nails and she is friendly and talented. I would give 5 stars for this salon if the owner was not so vocal with me during one visit..when I went to swipe my card on the iPad and she insisted that I enter my pin for debit instead of paying by credit. At the time I couldn't figure out on the device on how to bypass that.. I snapped back at her (gave her a look)...figured it out and left. Anyway, I never had that issue again. This was easily one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had. I was referred here by a friend and was excited to give it a try. I typically get SNS at a salon in Greensboro and I was trying to find somewhere in Raleigh, however, salons that offer it are few and far between. I made an appointment ahead of time and when I stopped in it was total confusion. The owner of the salon forgot to write my name down and couldn't find my appointment. After ten minutes we came to the realization there was a miscommunication and I had been scheduled for the wrong thing. She thought I wanted acrylic and had scheduled me with someone who does that exclusively and had never done SNS before. Instead of trying to reschedule me she was rude and said it would be fine as the woman had been doing nails for 20 years. It's not that the SNS was initially bad however I literally had to coach the woman through the process of doing SNS -- what?! I'm paying $45 to show you how to do my nails. When she was finished I had a pedicure and the whole time the owner was making back handed comments towards me. The atmosphere in the whole salon is extremely unprofessional and makes you feel like you're a nuisance for wanting to have your nails done. By the time I left I was mortified. Within four days half of my nails had come off and when I called the owner she offered no apology just asked me what I wanted to have done about it. Now let me be clear the woman who did my nails was actually awesome. She did the best she could with almost no guidance. How everything was handled is totally inexcusable. No chance I would ever step a foot in that salon again. read more

This nail salon was recommended to me, so I was excited to try it. I will never be going back. Why? (1) The service was awful. The nail technician was acting like I was bothering her by being there. She seemed more concerned about whether her last client left a tip than giving me good service. My gel manicure was rushed. (2) This salon feels extremely dirty. It doesn't even look like they sanitize their metal tools. I will consider it a win if I don't contract MRSA. (3) I didn't even do anything and my gel polish peeled off within 24 hours. I work in foodservice, which means a lot of plastic glove changing, hot water, and cleaning chemicals. But my gel manicures last FOREVER. Ana has no idea how to apply lashes. I asked for short/natural and walked out looking a mess and waving to everyone with HUGE long dark thick lashes (she applied over 20 clusters to each eye!!). I had to cut them myself which looked even worse and because I was going to an event the next day I was unable to get them removed. She promised to remove them and refund me. Upon my return She removed them and then changed her mind about the refund. I paid $35 to look like the butt of jokes. But hey, you get what you pay for. These lashes were nothing to celebrate about. If I had paid with a card I would have reversed the charge. Lesson learned. & her hands smell like cigarettes. read more

Had a French tip manicure done today at this place. The girl did a good job and was very efficient which I liked but what bothered me was the fact that they charged me an extra $5 because I was a new customer and that they had to remove the shellac I had done at a different place the previous time! In all the years I've done my nails, no one has ever asked me whether I'm a new or returning customer and therefore had to pay extra for being a new customer. The dollar amount was not my problem but I was turned off by how they treat new customers! I am very big on customer service; and for this reason, I will not be returning to this place. Today I decided to patronize this place and I was essentially turned away. I walked in today and the girls at the front didn't even acknowledge me until I had been standing there a bit. Finally one of them asked me, "Can I help you?" ... I replied, "Yes...I'd like a pedicure." She looked at me confused and said, "Right now?"...I looked back at her perplexed and wanted to say ..."No, next week"... but I simply responded, "Yes, right now."... she said, "Well we don't have anyone to work on you", then looked at me in a dismissive manner. Surprised at how blunt she was I simply replied, "that's fine" and kindly let exited the shop. ....Last time I checked my money spent ANYWHERE. The shop is aesthetically nice looking but customer service will make or break a business. My suggestion to the owner is to make sure his/her name employees are cognizant of this. We moved to the Greystone area at the beginning of the year. Going back to Cary to have my nails done seemed a bit far. So checking out what is close by. A friend recommended this salon. I went here just before my trip to California. One nail flipped right off when picking up my suitcase. Another in the seatbelt. By the end of 3week trip half had snapped. Told the tech I needed a thicker nail and she assured me that they would be ok. Not cool to have lost so many nails in such a short time. I have always gone 3 weeks on a fill. I probably should have read the reviews before I went.... I just had the same experience. The person who did my nails was super sweet but took two hours to do a really bad job! I left somewhat satisfied but 3hrs later my nails were breaking and already looked three weeks old. I went back and immediately got someone else to fix them. I dont understand why they would put a potentially new client with the worst nail tech in the shop. I understand she may be in the process of learning how to do nails, but let her practice on training devices or at least under close supervision. I also didn't care for how the technicians talked to each other or their clients. It was very unprofessional, especially having personal phone calls in front of clients. Went here the other day with two of my friends to have a nice relaxing day after lunch. The moment we walked in the woman who seemed to be the manager/owner greeted us and asked us what we wanted, we then told her that we wanted shellac polish and we heard there was a special going on for $15 (which obviously we had gotten it confused with a different place). Her reply was this and in a very rude tone "first of all we don't have shellac, and second of all its not $15". We then said we would get whatever they recommended. My friend went first and the same woman who greeted us did her nails and the whole time told her she needed to relax her hands. Then she finished with her and took me. Then also the whole time she did my nails she told me I was tense and needed to relax when I was just putting my hands out the way she was holding them. I felt very uncomfortable by this and my friends that were sitting waiting for me felt uncomfortable too. The woman then proceeded to ask me what my major was and I told her and she said "what are you going to do when your customers are so high strung and not relaxed" this was extremely rude and unnecessary to say to a customer that is paying YOU for your service. In fact if a customer of mine was not relaxed I would do anything I could to make them feel relaxed, this woman did the opposite. People come to salons to help feel relaxed, I just wanted her to finish my nails so I could get out of there. Safe to say we will not be returning here. When I went to this salon, I lost my debit card and had to write a check. The check was not deposited into my account for an entire month, at which time, my account was delinquent, due to an error with my bank (overdraft didn't work) and not getting my paycheck on time. I had just started a new job, and my direct deposit hadn't started yet. This was my fault. The owner coming to my home and telling me that I had to pay her right away or she would have me arrested, was NOT my fault. I was unaware that the check had even bounced, considering it's been 1 1/2 months. I apologized and assured her I would pay it as soon as I got my paycheck in one week. She continued to badger me, repeating that she would call the police if I didn't pay it. This was my first notification. There was no letter sent, no phone call. Just her showing up on my doorstep threatening me. This is not the proper way to notify a customer of a bad check. Despite the employees doing a good job, I will NEVER go here again due to the owner's poor handling of what should have been a simple and amicable situation. read more
