Just this week I am called to say she is no longer available and we've put you with someone else! Oh no I say.. and I go on line and she is off the schedule...Last straw!!!OK long story!! just setting up so you will understand the type of customer care I'm accustomed to...Define is.... well...the space is gentle , room peaceful..not private but... first time being here & the lady did my eyebrows good but it was awkward because they barley talked but overall my eyebrows looked great.

They did a fine job tinting my brows. Next time, I will ask them to paint it on in a different way so it doesn't get onto my skin.

The process was pretty quick - went on my lunch break. The lady greeted me at the door but was very reserved during the process. Her technique was thorough. However, I've had threading done before and I was a bit sensitive to it this time, but who knows...it had been a while. Overall, it was worth the price. They charge a little bit more than Triangle Eyebrow (16 for lip and eyebrow here vs. 10 there) but it seems like they run deals quite often, and I got a Yelp deal so it definitely seems worth it. The space itself is very clean and located in an easily accessible shopping area. However my complaint is with the job that was done itself. Just relocated from NYC and was looking for a good wax/threading place. I live and Carrboro so this was a bit far but it's worth it. My brows came out really nice and neat and for someone who has thin brows I am satisfied. I also got a Brazilian wax and Kim made sure to get every nook and cranny which is something I'm not used to! Sometimes they'll be small noticeable hairs in between the lips or back but Kim got everything! Only down side was that the wax was a bit too hot even when she tried to cool it. Also the Brazilian is only $35 which is super cheap compared to other places on yelp in Cary or Durham. The place is very clean and nicely lit. What I love most about this place is that the lady who always does my threading (Sonya) does just enough and never too much. I leave with them looking fuller than when I walked in. Some places will try to make your brows as even as possible and end up taking off entirely too much. I've never had that problem here. Back Again and Looks like I'm continuously amazed by Define's Staff! Today I received eyebrow thread and TINT(first time and in love), half legs(first as well),and bikini wax! I loved my whole experience. I came in today in dire need bc I couldn't walk around much longer with this fur and looking for Huda but she was off today so I was a little reluctant to just have anyone do it just bc I really felt comfortable with Huda but just as I was about to say agh I'll come back on Wednesday when Huda is here even though I did not want to walk around like this anymore one of Sonya's clients walked out and insured me that Sonya was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I had nothing to worry about and promised it would be worth it and that woman was totally RIGHT!! I always been a loyal customer since 2016 I will drive all the way here from Durham to just get my eyebrows done I never had a complaint until today I literally came in first before another customer and when that other customer came they attended her instead of me first .Which is unacceptable how do you expect to have good customer service doing that and her excuse was that she didn't wanna attend me first because I had a complain last time and that's understandable but she should be thankful I came again after the complaint of last time I don't think it was fair that I had a wait and as soon as a new customer comes they attend them instead of me. read more

I just moved back to the area a year ago after several years away, and I've been searching for a new place for eyebrow threading. After reading reviews, I decided to check out Define Brows at Brier Creek. I was not sorry. The salon is incredibly clean and looks very new, and it was not busy at the time I went, just after lunch. I waited for about five minutes for the technician to finish up with a patron. The lady who took care of my brows (sorry that I did not get her name) was extremely professional and was very gentle in the threading; it barely hurt at all, and I'm quite sensitive. She also recommended that I go with a slightly darker brow powder, and she put some on for me. I couldn't agree more! Her recommendation really made a big difference in how my brows look. I thought the price was very reasonable, at $8, and my brows look very nice. I will certainly be back again! read more
