I just felt the need to update my review. Here I am 3 years after writing my initial review, and 5 years after first coming to idolize. I have to admit there's been a couple times I've tried other eyebrow places out of convenience, and I regretted it. I will be coming to idolize for years to come. Since I've been a loyal customer to this business, I've had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Purwa. She's just the sweetest woman! She makes you feel so welcome and asks how I'm doing, and asks how my kids are. She even remembers that I have twin boys. I have to point out that my eyebrows look absolutely on point each & every time. She does it so quick, but that's the way I like it. Quick and fast and PAINLESS. I can be a big baby with pain so I'm grateful she is so good. Thank you Purwa for making me feel so welcome and making my eyebrows beautiful each and every time. read more

I went for brow threading. management needs to hire more experienced staff for eyebrows threading. she was little hassitant and did a horrible job @ crabtree Bally location. read more

Always immaculate service and quality when Vaishali handles my unibrow. I go in with one and come out with two beautiful sister eyebrows. She always remembers me and keeps them thick; doesn't thin out like previous places I've visited. They moved upstairs next to the Apple Store and the new place is big, bright and gorgeous. Definitely threading is the way to go. Hurts for a few seconds but lasts wayyyyy longer than waxing & shaving combined. read more

Idolize Brows & Beauty At Crabtree - Just left her service is exceptional!! - Eyelash Service Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

I drive an hour every time to have the girls at Idolize for their eyebrow threading. They have never done a bad job.

I did my eyebrow threading in Crabtree location,I'm Not much satisfied. Will not visit again.

This threading only kiosk in the mall was more than I expected. There was one person on duty. The place was clean (it's not a full storefront, but it's an enclosed space) and easy to find. The service was quick and efficient--and my brows looked as good as they ever looked after they were done! I was in town for a wedding and I'd definitely go back if I were local. read more

I went for brow and upper lip threading and was very pleased with the results. The salon was busy that so I waited about 15 minutes but the atmosphere was friendly, the other clients and I had great conversation. I will definitely be back read more

The stylist did a great job with my eyebrows- love it- the service was timely and I was in and out quickly

Great job! unfortunately I did not get the name of my person. However she did probably the best job ever threading my eyebrows Ill definitely be back I also enjoy new location in crab tree mall. Never a long wait with our an appointment read more

Love the place. Rose did a great job. Quick and convenient. Will definitely recommend this place.

Got my eyebrows and upper lip done here. The staff did a wonderful job, and it was exactly what I was hoping for!

First time getting my eyebrows threaded. My girl dragged me in here. I wasn't expecting much but I'm pleasantly surprised. The lady just cleaned me up. Not too thin or arched. I'll be back. read more

This is for the threading place in the middle of the corridor downstairs of the crabtree mall. She took at least 15 to 20 minutes and that should have been my red flag. My eyebrows only needed to be cleaned up and the older idiot that did them took off over 50% of them. At no point did i say i wanted to look like a chola. She had the nerve to try to show me how to leave a tip. I held back the urge to curse at her but of course left zero tip. I should have known better, salon services are never the best in a mall. Besides 12 being very high for brow threading, you should just skip this place. read more

This is the best brow place. I hardly feel the threading. These ladies are top notch. My daughter tears up when they do her brows any other place. Idolize Brows she says she has little to no discomfort. read more

I got there and there were a ton of people waiting and the girl working hasn't been there for 30 minutes... then I come back and she's eating her French fries asking me if I can wait for another 20 minutes. Like no girl. So I went to the other location... so much better read more

I had been going to the same lady for 5 years!!!! I moved to Raleigh 3 months ago and I have been so scared to try a new place!!!!! On a Monday morning I looked at myself in the mirror and was like GIRLLL IT IS TIME!!!!! I nervously walk in and meet Tanveer at CRABTREE!!!!! I definitely recommend her!!!!! she listened to me and made me feel comfortable with her threading capability!!!!!! I give her a 15/10!!!!! Ill be back!!!! 100%!!!!! read more

Idolize brows has been my go to place since 2013. Beyond grateful for my friend suggesting the Crabtree location. She actually drives 45 mins to see our go to lady which for some reason I don't recall her name right now. You can't miss her though she is stationed closer to the mirror. They are very hospitable, polite, gentle on the brows and goood!!!!! They also offer which hazel in the end and also have great recommendations of others in different locations. I went to school in Charlotte and I was recommended someone also exceptional at threading. I trust Idolize with my brows. read more

I have exclusively gone to this location for years but I recently had my service performed by a second team member. She insist that my brows have been done "incorrectly" and that I try various methods to promote growth. I informed her that I have only been serviced by her team member and she proceeded to ask me what happened and repeatedly made attempts to guess what went wrong, vs asking her team mate... not sure if I will go back after that experience read more

Beautiful, clean environment. Skilled, professional & polite brow artist. I was new to threading and was a little nervous. I have no regrets and will be back again! Quick and easy! Thank you so much read more

5 5 star glowing reviews... all from Yel..no, I can't even call them Yelpers, that have only reviewed once maybe twice... Hrm.... I smell a rat... But the possibility of beautiful brows - now that's cheese I will (always) bite into. Skeptical but yet still optimistically hopeful as I walked into the Brow Bar about 1:30 on a Friday afternoon. There were several patrons already waiting and several in the chair but I was still greeted promptly and ever so politely and was directed to wait in the "chic/clean" waiting area. I was only halfway through one article in the Glamour magazine that was in the waiting area when the threader motioned me over to one of three chairs. She asked me, "Have you ever been here before?" No. and "Have you ever had your eyebrows threaded before?" Yes. She meticulously wielded the thin threads over my now untidy(ish) eyebrows and after about five minutes I had thin but shapely eyebrows, in fact they were perfect! Better than I'd gotten anywhere else in Raleigh for that matter. All in all the total experience took 15 very peaceful minutes for a grand total of $15 (12 + the $3 tip I left her). Just a note - The Brow Bar has a customer loyalty card - 6 Threadings and the 7th is free read more

This is called the Brow Bar. That should have been my warning. I'm sure they do lovely eyebrows but that's not the service I had done, and it's not the service I'm reviewing. I entrusted a more sensitive area to the lovely ladies at the Brow Bar (I'll let you read between the lines). I should have known from the get-go that this was a terrible idea when they told me it would be a 45 minute wait because they weren't prepared to provide that service. Instead I figured "hey, I should've made an appointment, this is my own fault" and stuck around. Finally they called me back. The area was private, and nicely furnished. It was all quite relaxing until the technician acknowledged that it was her first time providing this particular service. Now, I can hear all you ladies screaming at me through the computer, like this is one of those horror movies where you're yelling "RUN FOR THE HILLS YOU IDIOT" and the bimbo onscreen enters the murderer's lair anyway, clad only in her bra and.. well, "panties" is a generous term used to describe what I was wearing for this process. I'll spare you the particulars and fast-forward to the end result. This poor girl had not heated the wax to the proper temperature, and it didn't harden as it was supposed to. Now combine your mental image of chewing gum-in-hair consistency with the fact that her inexperience drew the process out an intolerable length of time. I'll wrap this up by saying I went in with the idea that I would come out feeling smooth and sexy. Instead I spent two weeks terrified for my husband to see me with my jeans off. Stick with the eyebrows and you'll most likely be very pleased. For more "private" services, ask your girlfriends (or Yelp) for a better recommendation. read more

I am writing this review as happy and disappointed. Paurawa is ABSOLUETELY great! She normally does my eyebrows. But last night I desired to have my eyebrows done. I arrived and friendly lady named Tanveer was there. My usual, Paurawa was gone. I allowed Tanveer to do my eyebrows. That was a huge mistake!!!!! I told her to clean up my eyebrows. She thinned my eyebrows! Needless to say for about a month I will be growing my eyebrows. I highly recommened Idolize, but only allow Paurawa to touch your eyebrows. I repeat do not allow Tanveer, she will butcher your eyebrows. read more

The Indian lady was not welcoming. She constantly looked at other people while threading my eyebrow, gave me her minimum attention. The whole process took only about 3 minutes. She was in a rush! As a result, I have a cut on my eyelid. Terrible! Will never go there again. read more

Idolize Brows & Beauty At Crabtree - Bad service. Had a cut on my eyelid. Terrible! - Eyelash Service Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

I love coming here!! Threading hurts but lasts a long time and the employees always go above for you!

I've came here since the first time I got my brows done and at first they did a good job but I had very thick brows and would always stress to leave them thick but I found myself ending up with extremely thin lines. Never again. read more

The only people I've ever trusted with my eyebrows! I've been using their eyebrow powder for years too and it lasts for so long. I don't even live in Raleigh anymore but I make a special trip just to go to Idolize. read more

A mini-brow salon in the center of Crabtree, Idolize is a tiny gem. I try to come once every 1-2 weeks since the ladies here, and particularly Tanveer, do an excellent job keeping my brows tame. I've gotten quite a few compliments- and always tell coworkers and friends that the convenience and excellence of Idolize are tough to beat. Definitely worth a stop. As a bonus, Monday's are discounted read more

Great work by Tanveer! Eyebrows on fleek! Ladies please give the threading a try. Service is always great at the Crabtree location. Also, if you get your eyebrows threaded 6 times with your card stamped to show proof the seventh one is FREE! :-) read more

Those who know me know that I am VERY picky when it comes to my eyebrows. Growing up, I always had the hardest time finding a consistent eyebrow technician. About 4 years ago, I discovered Purwa during a trip to the mall. She has been the ONLY person to touch my eyebrows since then. Except for a few months ago when I went to Anastasia Beverly Hills during a trip to LA, where I was complimented on my eyebrows by the technician herself. Not that I ever needed confirmation of Purwa's talent, but it was great to hear that from an Anastasia employee. Aside from her talent, she is so sweet and personable. I look forward to our chats and her fun personality. Moral of the story, if love your eyebrows, do them a favor and visit Purwa. She is amazing and I don't know what I would do without her. read more

This is my go to place for threading these days. I've experienced 4-5 different artists but Tanveer is by far the best! The price is right and I love that they have punch cards. I've never had to wait extremely long, but helps that I go during the week. The establishment is bright, airy and most important clean!! I've (finally) purchased the eyebrow shadow and brush kit and have been pleased. Makes the brows look crisp! No need for appointments - I'm not sure if they take them! Enjoy your threading experience read more

Had a horrible experience here. When you call the customer service number or email them you get no answer which leads me to believe it's fake. The manager there won't give you contact for an owner and then she threatens her own employees. Run for your life you're better off going to anywhere nearby. Don't give them your business. read more

I have been going to Idolize Brows & Beauty to see Purwa for a couple of years now and I have kept going back because she always does a great job and is honest about what to expect from the services that they offer. By that I mean they work with your natural eyebrow shape to give you a nice clean look which I love. I have not tried any other service, but the woman that I have seen get other services done look pretty satisfied. It is always clean and sanitary, the wait is never more than 10 mins, and the environment is very welcoming and convenient being that it is located in Crabtree mall. read more

I've been a customer of Idolize Brows for six years , Purwa is my eyebrow technician. I moved from NJ seven years ago and it's not an easy thing to start over and look for "just the right kind of eyebrow technician" to entrust "your face" to. I searched for a year and then I found Idolize Brows. From the moment I first met Purwa, she was warm, friendly and kind. She had a smile on her face and she readily answered all my questions. To me it's of the upmost importance to be heard. She's always done a fantastic job on my brows and face. If she's ever going to be away she's kind enough to let me know. She doesn't have to do that yet she chooses to, I appreciate that wholeheartedly. If I happen to not come in on the days I usually do, she's even called me to check in on me, which speaks to her character. Idolize Brows has a true gem in Purwa! I'm a very happy and loyal customer. Stop by Idolize Brows and ask for Purwa, you won't regret it! read more

Still faithfully seeing Tanveer to tame my eyebrows. She's excellent. Definitely try to go during the week as parking at Crabtree is a nightmare on weekends. read more

I'm a few weeks late writing this review, but I gotta say Purwa was the BEST! Thus was my first time going there, and hardly anyone gets my brows right. But Purwa was patient, and gave the arch I needed, I WILL be back, appt already made! read more

I went in because there was special for that day. They also had a Yelp sign asking to check them out which is normally a good indicator for me. However, I did not have the best experience getting my eyebrows threaded. They were a little mismatched, in addition to the fact that she barely asked me about how I would like my eyebrows shaped. I ended up going home and fixing them some more. I don't think I will be back. read more

This is the best eyebrow place I have ever been to. Purwa did my eyebrow and she is so gentle. I couldn't feel a thing. The best part is that I don't have to make an appointment. I can pop in anytime I need my eyebrows done. Its also an affordable price. I will definitely be going again soon! read more

Ever since I've found this place, I've always gone. Tanveer always does a great job. I really appreciate her doing my eyebrows.

So my friend and I got there through a Groupon. It had good reviews, so we decided to get our eyebrows done. I have been having my eyebrows threaded for many years. Back in my home town and for the past few months- in NY. Now on our way to a beach vacation, we stopped here to get it done. I normally don't go into those mall booths, but I figured its worth a try. Bad idea. The lady was super nice, and the place was clean and tastefully designed for a pleasant wait. that's why the 2 stars. but I'm sorry- she has no idea how to use a thread!! Nothing was cleaned, I mean all the area under the brow was completely the same as before, the only part she actually cleaned was the upper part, and even there I had to fix. Unfortunately I paid for upper lip already, so I ended up with more then half (!!!) Of the hair still there, and when I gently told her it wasn't clean enough, she said something about "ingrown hairs" ?! Believe me, all the hairs were out in the open. I know this cause I spent 45 minutes when I arrived to my hotel, doing my own eyebrows, cleaning it all away, and having to tweeze the upper lip because I paid 14(!!) $ to someone who had no idea what she was doing. I pay 10$ in NY, and my thread lady cleans it so well I have nothing to worry for 4 weeks. So disappointing...Such a shame. read more
