Wow! I have never given a nail salon a 5 star rating! Well, New Year, new adventures. Wanting to go with my daughter, we settled on Paris Nail Bar. I like how they had music playing (not loudly) and you could also hear the television, if you were concentrating on it. Our appointment time was honored immediately upon arrival. The salon was quiet and clean. I didn't miss the usual smell associated with acrylic nails, although they were being done on two customers in the salon. The foot bath and massage was 5/5. The manicure was 5/5. They did things like applying scrub to your feet and hands along with the hot towels. These are traits that I have missed out on at my regular salon. That said, I will have to check out other salons in my area. Paris has re-set the standard and I want it every time I get my nails done. They offer paid alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Water is free. They also have a menu for services. You'll want to review it before you begin. Whenever I am in Durham, I will definitely re turn to Paris Nail Bar. Well done!

I loved going here until I did not. I got my nails done here multiple times and loved them and even recommended the place to my friends, but I went yesterday and I was greatly disappointed. I currently have all my finger nails in band aids bc Su who did my nails went to far off my nail with the nail drill and tore up all my skin. My fingers burn, I tried icing them as well but it didn't help. You've been warned.

Ended up at Paris nail bar due to the glowing reviews and while I think it's fine and they did a decent job, I don't see this becoming my new salon. The pedicure station is a bank wall and then there are mani stations directly in front of you (see pics). Someone else mentioned this, but if you are as tall as I am (5'11) this is quite uncomfortable. I splurged and got the champagne pedi, which tbh, not sure what was very different from a regular pedi. More attention was paid to my calves than feet, and while I do appreciate a good message, I did specifically request the callus treatment and it wasn't anything more than a bootie with lotion in it. They cut down my nails, but spent very little time making sure there were no ingrown nails and didn't barely buff my calluses at all. I do a better job in the shower. I did get a wax and am very happy with the results there, so there is that. + They have a large selection of nail colors. + Very clean and spacious salon + They offer drinks + Great waxing services

The ambiance was lovely in the morning, they offered me a drink during my visit. I was surprised to see such a variety of options from soft drinks, Starbucks bottled fraps and wines. The nail techs were kind and very meticulous about their work. They have a large wall of color options that looked well kept and up to date. First time here and first impressions were great!

Worst experience I have ever had for any sort of service. Please do not go here if you want to be treated reasonably. Terrible atmosphere--to begin I was given dirty towels to dry my hands with (smelled musty and bacteria-ridden). I payed for a full manicure with dip change, $55, $65 with a 20% tip. Not only did I not receive a full manicure service, the technician I was assigned to treated me incredibly rudely--previously I had blue with green only on my ring finger--she decided to do just blue at her own accord and told me "one color only looks much better". She did not clean up the blue dip which was stuck on my cuticles, rushing me out because the next customer was waiting for her service. So rude--she quite literally picked up my bag which was still in the seat, placed the next customer down, and tossed my bag at me with no words, simply implying that I was done. She also claimed their dip would last a month, yet a nail chipped after 5 days, as seen in the picture, with more and more chipping each day following. These nails did not even last a week. I called expressing my problem and the lady on the phone communicated w/o the whole picture, getting me to drive all the way back to the salon for a service which I learned would only be 15% discounted. Ridiculous. Money-hungry scammers who definitely don't treat paying customers like they should.

Katrina and April are absolute artists when it comes to nails. Whether I'm in for gel-x, eyebrows, or just a polish change, I always have an excellent time! The ambience is great, and there's no pressure to chat unless you want to :) You can tell all the other guests are enjoying their self-care days as much as you are, too! EVERYONE GO HERE!!

    Fresh dip nails

I've been coming here for well over a year and absolutely love it! It's super clean, the ambience is wonderful, and the service is even better. I regularly get liquid gel manicures and they're absolute perfection! I recently tried dip nails and they aren't bulky of thick at all, better than I expected! Everyone is very friendly and I never feel rushed when I need to pick a color or have any questions. They make getting an appointment very easy with their online portal, which I love. I've tried many places in the triangle area and this is by far my favorite

April RULES! Everything she did was magic!!! Thank you April and Paris I will come here regularly, when I move :)

The way these people TOOK CARE OF ME TODAY!! They got me in same day for dip nails and a pedi and yall, I never write reviews but I have to share how great this experience was start to finish. The nail tech took her time with me and was so gentle, and head to toe I look and feel fabulous thanks to them! If I could give ten stars I would, if you're shopping around in the area definitely go see them.

Lee aka "Taco Bell" always takes great care of me! He's super friendly and is always considerate of me. The salon is always super clean and the staff are very kind! Love coming here!

I used to go to the Paris Nail Bar in Apex, but once I found out that Katrina moved to the location in Durham, it was a wrap!

The wine list is broad and thoughtfully curated, with options that feel approachable whether you're a casual wine drinker or someone looking to try something new. The sommeliers were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us find something we loved. The space itself is adorable, with eclectic décor and cozy lighting that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. It's a great spot for conversation and a relaxed evening with friends. The only downside is that the space is fairly small, and I would have loved to see one or two more lower seating options for small groups rather than mostly high tops. That said, I could absolutely see us coming back for a pre- or post-theater glass of wine or an easy catch-up night.

The service is awesome--our server was super friendly and gave me a great drink recommendation when I wasn't sure what I wanted. It ended up being perfect. My friend and I shared a glass of the 2023 Cederberg Bukettraube (sweet white wine) and got the charcuterie board for one with the truffle salami. That board was so good--I can't stop thinking about it. The toasted baguette slices with truffle salami and mustard? Unreal. It was the perfect little snack to share. We also had the citrus lavender crème brûlée, which was surprisingly delicious. I don't usually go for crème brûlée, but this one was light, not overly sweet, and just had a really nice flavor. I've also tried their shepherd's pie before and loved it--wish it was still on the menu! The vibe inside is moody and cozy, and they've got a cute outdoor patio too. Overall, such a great spot. A little pricey, but I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking out Killer Queen.

There's an S-shaped bar along the right side as you walk in with a few smaller tables scattered to the left and ahead, but if you walk around the plantings, there are larger tables in the rear. We had reserved a place for eight, and they fit us in with plenty of room around as a buffer. Few other parties joined us back there, so it was very quiet and great for friends catching up. We tried several wines, but I was a bit shock ed that the list wasn't longer: three reds, three whites, a few rosés and sparkling offerings was all there were. The only Italian red was a blend, which was ok. 60% Sangiovese, it was ok, but I'd have loved a bold Tuscan red like a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo or a full-on Sangiovese. I ordered the wild mushroom flatbread and the pasta carbonara. the flatbread was delicious, and very filling. Half went home for a lunch treat the next day! The pasta was ok, but there weren't the flavors I was expecting. Hardly any meat was in the dish, and it was just a kinda "ok" creamy pasta dish. But the service and the atmosphere was amazing! It's funny - many in this group have met since and we always remark how other places have such a larger wine selection than this one that has "wine" in the name. Maybe they need to change the name if they aren't going to have a wider selection. Still a fun place, just done expect a lot of selection.
