They removed the gel tips, were really gentle with my nails, and fitted the new ones with care. I was nervous because I'd never had gel tips before, but I love my nails now. I just like to have my nails trimmed every few weeks. The soaking and callous buffing is a nice add on, as is the afternoon glass of wine and the foot and calf massage. I've been here several times now (it's a mile from home, on the bike path, and easy to schedule with their website), so I'm starting to know which folks I prefer to do my pinkies. They let you choose a nail technician when you're making the appointment, or you can just get the "next available." There's a definite difference in the level of gentleness applied. I've been a regular (every 2-3 weeks) for dipping powder and often gel pedicure for over 2.5 years and I can't go anywhere else at this point--I love Zoe and all of the staff (I rotate among whoever is available). The dipping powder application is always done with precision and high quality no matter who I see. I had tried multiple nail salons for dipping powder previously and none were up to the same standards as Eden. Pedicures are also always excellent. The staff is cero foreigners friendly. I'm currently a visitor in this country, so my husband and I are using the same phone number. When I made the appointment on their webpage, an unexpected charge of $397,5 made on my credit card so I let them know via email with my bank's notification screenshot attached. The staff tried to contact me by phone to talk about this issue, but as my husband was the one who answered (not me, man voice not female voice) they took me as a scam and immediately canceled my appointment, there was no option or way to solve the misunderstanding. (the bank issue and my husband's voice were enough reason for them to cancel my appointment) My advice to them would be to be more customer oriented, at least speak and understand the context of the situation. I know this are managed differently in each country, but customer service is something almost universal. An advice to my self: Next time, I should contact the bank first, after all this mess they let me know the charge was not in US dollar but in Colombian pesos, which is only $0.10 dollars. read more

I have been going to Eden nail bar on and off for years. There are two things I really appreciate about Eden. First, when I make an appointment and arrive on time, they almost never keep me waiting more than 1-2 minutes past my appointment time. This is so helpful and different from what I have experienced at a number of other salons. Second, they do not do acrylic nails which I love because the shop does not smell strongly of chemicals. It is clean and locally owned - and they offer drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and "quiet" option while you're getting nails done. Just got a gel mani and pedi here and Amber did a great job! I made an appointment online-super easy! When it was time for my appointment, I was brought over to the manicure station and then when that was done over to the pedicure station. The manicure was nice and relaxing but the pedicure was luxurious. The massage chair was working the knots out of my shoulder and Amber used the perfect pressure for the leg massage. She was also meticulous about the gel Polish and everything looks spectacular. I appreciated that each of the nail artists vibed off of their client and didn't question anyone like they were in an interrogation. Let's be honest, we are here to relax, and the nail artists here really promote that. We shared some laughs and the vibe here is definitely a safe space vibe where we can share our stories and be supported. For those of you who are interested in the hygiene of the tools and equipment (because I know that's something I look for when I look up reviews of nail salons), the pedicure basin had a new plastic lining and all of the tools that Amber used were from the autoclave pouch that she opened in front of me. They also have you wash your hands before they do your manicure. Overall, a relaxing place to get your mani and pedi with artists who are detail oriented and the cherry on top is that the salon and tools are really clean. There is a good number of colors to pick from (not the biggest I've seen, but solid) , and they were happy to do a top glitter ombre for me in addition to my original requested color. So let me start off by saying I went to another nail salon here in town 4 weeks ago & I was not impressed-- it was so busy & crowded in there, too hot, & at the end of the appointment, I hated how my nails looked! This was even on a Saturday so I know they were probably busy but they still managed to fit me in for the same time. That is such great customer service! Zoe did my mani/pedi today & wow!! I've never had a nail tech who paid so much attention to detail. Cleaned up my cuticles to perfection, spent as much time as she needed to get the best results, even removing some polish & redoing it since it was not to her expectations. I got SNS on my fingers & a regular pedicure-- the scrub & lotion were even heated which was a nice touch. Minimal time spent with the nail drill, which I so appreciate. She took the time to talk with me and get to know me during my appointment. The music was good, stuff to sing along too, & not too loud. When people would come in, Zoe would always greet them by name. They know their clients here! At the end of it all, I LOVE the way my nails look. The SNS is so thin, the shape & length are JUST what I wanted, & I have NEVER seen my cuticles look this good. She even took time to explain things to me that I have never been told at another salon-- why it hurts when I get my nails clipped too short, how quickly cuticles grow, & when to come back for my appointment-- when the polish starts lifting & I can feel the nails pulling when I run my fingers through my hair (I definitely know what she's talking about!!), it's time to come get them taken off. While this place is small, they utilize the space as best they can! I never felt overcrowded or squished in. Everything was extremely clean. The atmosphere is so relaxing. It is by appointment only but it's totally worth it to clear your schedule & hey-- it's scheduled self-care! This entire experience has definitely said to me that they do not overbook, rush people in & out to get the most profit. I've never paid for gel removal (at same location) ever so was pretty displeased to be charged $15 for removal... 10 days after the $50 (+tip) mani.
