However, my last time, what really made me not want to go back. I got a gel x manicure and a gel.Pedicure and it was done poorly. The acrylic nails were fine. However my toes were not. The nail tech did the wrong color and I mentioned it three times and was dismissed. As I was leaving, I very much noticed the difference and brought it to the attention of the staff. It seemed like the nail tech got upset due to the lack of communication, but I felt very uncomfortable. And dismissed because I had mentioned this several times and the lack of communication made the layers way too much. They ended up putting the layers that I needed to make the right shade. However, because there were so many layers, the nail polish ended up not being dry.Even like fifteen minutes after leaving. My toes because of this were essentially chipped, and the nail polish was stripped as I walked. This was very frustrating because it could have been avoided. Because of the issue with the nail polish, it ended up taking much much longer than expected. And that also cut into my work. And I had to reschedule a client because of it. I know people make mistakes. However, I wish that I was heard at the first time. That would have saved my nails being done incorrectly. That would have saved my extra time it took.

If you have damaged finger or toe nails, head over to see Eric for an expert who knows how to…read morerepair them and bring them back to life. As a chronic nail biter, I had really made a mess of my nails. Prior efforts with acrylics, tips, gel fills, etc etc etc all ended up destroying my underlying nails. They ended up thin as paper, damaged and unhealthy. Eric uses a gel veneer that is different than other products. It has restored my damaged nails. On the nails that were not damaged, he has used his standard base, gel and top coat material and he does not file away at my nails to remove the gel polish. Because of his technique and the higher quality materials he uses ALL my nails are healthier and stronger now that they have ever been. I don't need the gel veneer anymore - Eric repaired and restored my screwed up nails so that all my nails are strong, natural and pretty.

I met with Layla during the morning and she was very kind and detailed. I had read all the positive reviews about the LCN service and how it helps your natural nails stay strong. The gel polish application was clean and neat. I can't wait to return to try another shape and nail color. Thank you Leyla.

WOW I loved my experience at Sizen Nails. I scoured every nail salon in the area to find one whose…read morepictures I liked, which led me here. Their shop is in a grocery plaza so parking is plentiful. The inside is spacious and clean, with separate areas for manicures and pedicures. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I am a picky customer and my nail technician Thuy was so patient and communicative working with me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. She had such a light hand filing my existing gel off, and a very good eye for shape and symmetry. I came in thinking I would get oval nails as usual, but she suggested almond and thankfully I took her word for it. Some of my nails and fingers are a bit wonky, so I have always feared that something pointier like almond would emphasize the asymmetry. However, she did an amazing job with the shape and I am now an almond convert. Thuy also has a remarkably steady hand, and my cuticles remained spotless with no stray gel streaks to be cleaned up. I opted for a polka dot pattern and she absolutely nailed the spacing. She moved with care to ensure that each dot was round, equidistant, and the same size, erasing and restarting when needed. Sizen nails is currently running a 20% off mani and pedi as of 5/14/26, and the prices are AMAZING. My gel mani with designs on all 10 fingernails was $44. As someone used to California prices, my jaw dropped when she showed me the total. I think I found my nail salon in NC, and will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
