I met with Layla during the morning and she was very kind and detailed. I had read all the positive reviews about the LCN service and how it helps your natural nails stay strong. So far I enjoy how light the application feels as opposed to how thick acrylic nails are. My nails look natural. I added tip extensions for extra length to the oval shape. a little dissapointed since my big toe acrylic nail popped off and its only been 12 days. i never had any of my acrylic nails pop easily in my life. only until the 1-2 month mark will the fake big toe nail start to become sort of loose as my natural nail grows out but not at a point of completely popping off as if it never adhered to my nail... a big disappointment that one of my nails did not last since i take very good care of my sets and am cautious which makes me question the quality of the work i received. however i am happy my mani is still holding up. read more

If you have damaged finger or toe nails, head over to see Eric for an expert who knows how to repair them and bring them back to life. As a chronic nail biter, I had really made a mess of my nails. Prior efforts with acrylics, tips, gel fills, etc etc etc all ended up destroying my underlying nails. They ended up thin as paper, damaged and unhealthy. Eric uses a gel veneer that is different than other products. It has restored my damaged nails. On the nails that were not damaged, he has used his standard base, gel and top coat material and he does not file away at my nails to remove the gel polish. Because of his technique and the higher quality materials he uses ALL my nails are healthier and stronger now that they have ever been. I don't need the gel veneer anymore - Eric repaired and restored my screwed up nails so that all my nails are strong, natural and pretty. read more

My first experience here was half good and half bad. I made an online appointment with Jason, which I thought was a very convenient way to make reservations, and went to get gel nails and a pedi. I was with a friend and so half way through my pedi a girl working there said she would do my gel nails so that my friend and I could get out on time. I thought this was nice so I agreed. When she was doing the manicure, she was going really fast and I felt like she wasn't doing a good job. She cut my cuticle too :( When she started doing the gel, she put my hands in the UV light for only like 30 seconds then switched. Jason said something to her in Vietnamese and I think it was about the 30 seconds. So they swtiched me from the massage chair to a table and she completed my nails. I got clear with sparkles because I was going to a weddding that weekend. My feet looked great by the way! When I left the nails looked fine, but within 4 days they started peeling up and chipping off. After a week I was missing half the gel on about 4 nails. It looked terrible and I was glad I chose the pale color. I was unable to go back that week to get them fixed so I had to wait till the next week. I made another appointment with Jason and told him the story and he redid my nails and did an immaculate job! Perfection!! They lasted for 3 weeks with only a minor chip in the color. He gave me a discount too because they looked so bad from my time before. I would have rated them a 1 or 2 star, but Jason was so good I gav 3 stars. read more

Came here for a gel overlay removal and re-apply. The removal of the overlay was quick and very messy. I was completely covered in dust at the end and I did not like the fact that she used the drill down to my real nail. I asked her to hand file when it she got close to my actual nail which didn't happen. I also feel like the gel was applied to my nail very sloppy as it was on the back of my nails and completely spilling over the sides. But, once again, she used the drill and shaped/smoothed everything. She applied the polish beautifully but doesn't do any special designs/nail art. I was cool with the job she did until I got home and really looked at my nails. The back of my nails are full of polish and 2 nails are broken/chipped in weird shapes. (I have naturally long nails and no nail tech has broken my nail until now). Will not be returning. read more

I don't know where to even begin. I went to the wrong location I thought my appointment was. They sent me to the one on Chapel hill Rd. My 15 yo daughter was getting her eyes brows waxed for the very first time. A few days before starting high school while I got a pedicure. The woman who waxed her I told her twice, be gentle this is her first time. She gave my daughter a 2nd degree burn. My daughter was in pain, we are at urgent care waiting to be seen to get burn cream. This poor kid is already nervous about starting school and feels self conscious. My pedicure , I asked why they don't use liners she said in broken English they use soap and water. I replied soap doesn't kill bacteria or fungi. Why and I so safety conscious I am a RN . While paying I noticed my toe was bleeding. When I saw my daughters wyes I was jus horrified.i demanded my money back. I was given ten dollars for the eye brows and I also asked for the tip back. There was no menu of services displayed and the technician never asked me what type of pedicure I wanted. He just started working rapidly on my toes and 15-20 minutes later was finished. He did an ok job on the polish but barely scrubbed my feet and the massage was useless. My heels and toes were barely exfoliated also. After the pedi I was so disappointed that I didn't even bother with a mani. Terrible experience and would not recommend! VIP Winning Nails (Eric) has developed a new technique for applying gel with little to no burn!! Whenever I got a new gel set, I dreaded the burn, you know that burning sensation you feel when the gel is first applied to your nail bed under the uv light though it only lasts 10-15 seconds, it was very painful... but now no more!!! AND not only that but my fingers did not ache after getting a new gel set like they usually did in the past. This new technique also allows for a thinner layer of gel to be applied but still strong and sturdy. It's been a week since I got my nails done and they're still going strong even after all the Thanksgiving cooking and cleaning. I love that VIP Winning Nails focuses on nail healthcare (less drilling too!) and not just nail beauty. I've been going to this family oriented salon for quite a while and they provide excellent customer service, very professional, kind and thoughtful.
