My hubby and I came here via a recommendation from Kream Kimchi (GREAT KIMCHI) - we started with the Spicy Boiled Fish, Dan Dan Noodles and Pan Fried Green Beans - holy wow this was AMAZING and spicy but in that really good way that keeps you coming back for more even if your mouth is crying uncle. Since then we've been working our way alllllll through their menu: Egg Rolls, Wontons, Pork Dumplings, Spicy Cucumber (totally going to get the Crispy Pork Intestine and Beef Noodle Soup next!!), Mapo Tofu, Twice Cooked Fish (dear god, we've gotten this at least three times now), Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (just a tad too sweet for us), Home Style Eggplant with Pork, the Home Style Cabbage, Spicy Potato Slices with Pork, Bok Choy with Garlic - highly recommend this spot! read more

One of the most authentic Chinese food restaurants in Denver for sure. I also liked that their ingredients were very fresh. Just wished that they open more days in a week so I could order more of their food! read more

Excellent! Best Chinese food in Denver. Delicious flavors and pretty decent portions of food!!! I'll be coming here from now on

This place is a hidden gem. The grandma here is so friendly, all my friends enjoyed our experience with the owners of this place. Northern Chinese food has always been a cuisine I wanted to try, and this place def has satisfied the cravings. The food was amazing. We got the spicy boiled fish, Dan Dan noodles, chicken lo mein, fried rice, and pork eggplant. Dan Dan noodles were delicious, the eggplant was to die for with the sweet soy sauce balance, and the boiled fish was just the right amount of heat and flavor. This mom n pop restaurant is a must and all my friends have agreed to come back again. Forgot to take a pic of the food before devouring it, so here's a pic of the aftermath lol. read more

The broiled fish in the stew was so GOOD I still think about it. It was spicy and warming and comforting. Everything else is delicious as well. Last time I went, I got that and the sour potatoes and the eggplant with chicken dish. Excellent. I love the spiciness and the punchy flavors. Bring a few friends and share plates. read more

I ran into Office Depot the other day and asked the employees if they had ordered yet from the noodle place next door. (It was my favorite chicken restaurant) Both replied with not yet BUT it's always busy. That was enough for me! First time in I read no other reviews and ordered food I knew well. Orange chicken. Sesame chicken and what really grabbed my eye BOK Choy with Garlic. Right now there's no dine in but we were take out anyway. They were very fast! And when we got it home it was still very hot! The rice was very good & on the sticky side which we really like. The sauce on the orange chicken was very tasty with orange rind. The sesame chicken hit the spot with no complaints. By far our fave was the bok choy cooked to perfection with great flavor. Healthy healthy healthy!! This is our now new favorite place to go!! I went back to the reviews and see there's many more items we want to order next time!!! read more

Visited Colorado and found this place to eat. Very clean, attentive host, great food and fast service. Will go back when we get a chance to be here again. Thank you very much; to soup really hit home read more

Same owners/family of the now closed China Jade. Everything I had was amazing. My girlfriend and I started with the veggie buns, since they were sold out of the pork, and they were very good. We also had the sorted beef and the dumplings. All the apps were excellent. The sorted beef was amazing and the dumplings were very good, clearly made fresh from scratch. For entrees, we had the Dan Dan noodles, the boiled beef in hot oil and the classic beef noodle soup and the Chongqing chicken. I'd say all were amazing and will certainly be ordered again in the near future, but what we ate the most of were the Dan Dan noodles and the Chongqing chicken(careful, this chicken has bones chopped up and fried with the meat for extra flavor). My girlfriend said she enjoyed our dinner here more than Q House, which we both really liked, and I agreed. Thanks the the amazing meal, will be back soon! read more

YUM! We came with a party of five for dine in and had a great time. The staff there are very friendly and will make good dish recommendations for you! The meat dishes are tender and flavorful, and I loved their stewed eggplant. I really liked that their dishes weren't too mala-spicy, which might be a downpoint for some but means I enjoy my food more :) I'll definitely be back with a big group! read more

Great food, fast service! Our favorites have been the spicy cabbage, braised pork shoulder, salted fish fried rice, spicy chicken, dandan noodles. We always over order - but have great leftovers to savor the spicy delights again! read more

Best Chinese food in Denver! I lived in China, and the food here competes with some of the best restaurants I ate at in China. Haven't found any other place in Denver that comes close to how flavorful, fresh and authentic as this place! Spicy, savory, fresh, great flavor profiles...a few of the reasons we keep on ordering from this place. read more

I tried boiled fish, Dan Dan noodle and Chong Qing chicken. Boiled fish was so so, for Dan Dan noodle, the noodle was too soft and not spicy enough. The best was Chong Qing chicken. I think the price is kind of pricey for the size. However our waiter was really friendly. I am still interested to back to try other Food on the menu. read more

After months of our dogged quest for authentic Chinese food in Denver, we are overjoyed and over the moon to have found Noodles Express! As NJ/NY transplants who love to eat, this was our first true taste of home in Colorado. Yes, we've tried places all over Federal and Aurora, but as far as actual Sichuan dishes like 梅菜扣肉 (steamed pork belly w preserved veggie) or 夫妻肺片 (spicy 'sorted' beef), nowhere else has come close. The handmade pork buns legit pulled me back into my mom's kitchen, Ratatouille style. This is now our favorite restaurant in the Denver metro area, so please help us keep them in business!! FYI they offer delivery thru UberEATS and DoorDash but both are unscrupulously jacking up the prices on most dishes, so I'd recommend ordering directly with them for pickup. Portion size is very generous! read more

We have been missing Chinese food from SF and NY...until we found this spot. It's so good!! Faves are: sorted beef, fish fragrant eggplant, Dan Dan noodles, mapo tofu and spicy fish in chili oil. Can't wait to go backn read more

A wonderful and authentic Szechuan restaurant with hand pulled noodles. Always solid and every dish I've had is great! Obviously recommend the noodle dishes but also the pork buns which can sometimes run out towards the end of the day. Love that there's an authentic place in this area--it's hard to find outside of Federal and Havana. The owners used to have a place on the latter before this one. Hope they stick around for a long time! read more

This is my favorite Chinese spot in Greater Denver. I relocated from NYC and have been looking for a somewhere that has authentic Sichuanese food. I've been here twice now and the food is great. No frills, affordable, authentic. The spicy boiled fish is on par with NYC Chinese, but is definitely spicy. Chong Qing chicken (basically Chinese fried chicken thigh stir fried with chili peppers, Mongolian beef, green beans and eggplant are all good. read more

I would give 6 stars if I could. UNBELIEVABLY AUTHENTIC hand-made noodles! I rarely write any comments on yelp, but this one is definitely an exception, and I re feel I need to share this with every food lover! The quality of the dishes is 5 stars, the taste of the food is 5 stars, the amount of food is 5 starts, and price is 5 starts, and the service is also 5 starts. The decoration of the restaurant is not fancy, but it's clean and spacious. I am so happy and lucky to find this authentic Chinese food restaurant in Denver! Found this new spot because of my husband's friend recommended to us. They're open for dine in, interior looks clean and nice. We ordered Spicy boiled fish and beef, salted fish fried rice, Chong Qing chicken ( is not on the menu need to ask for order) and Spicy sorted beef. Everything taste very authentic. I'm glad I found this place because there's not much place that serve authentic szechuan style food around. Would definitely be back to try some of their noodles dishes too!! read more

I was across the street for an appointment and wandered in. It all sounded good, but I spun the wheel and landed on the boiled fish and beef. One, it's a LOT of food. I'm going to get two meals out of this easy. No fancy packaging, just a quart styrofoam container of soup and a side of rice. The staff was super friendly and my food was up in about five minutes. Taste? It's a food review, after all. It's classic Szechuan, spicy, and smoky, and really rich. The beef is tender and the fish is nice and flaky, and the bean sprouts add some nice texture to balance it out. For me, just the right amount of heat, it's definitely hot, and it builds over time, but it's not a dare to eat it. After about 30 minutes my tongue is pretty much back to normal, lol. In summary, 9/10, would definitely eat here again, the dan dan noodles look amazing. read more

The traditional Chinese dishes are great but I have to say- the orange chicken is the best I've had in my life.

A new restaurant opened by the previous owner of China Jade. Particularly liked the Dan dan noodles, and the tomato beef noodle soup base is tasty. Located in a plaza, so parking is easy. They just started operating but I am pretty sure it will soon to be full house on a daily basis again! Service was great on this visit as well. read more

Quick stop for a bowl of Dan Dan noodles and mala cucumbers. The cucumbers were wonderfully flavorful but just a bit too salty to be as refreshing as I was hoping for on a hot summer day. The noodles were perfect. All of the spices and flavors and textures that make a good bowl of Dan Dan Mian. The chili is perceptible but mild, so should be suitable for most. Service was excellent. I look forward to trying other Sichuan classics such as the boiled fish, dry-fry string beans, and eggplant with pork. read more

We've been meaning to try Noodles Express for months and finally ordered take-out from them tonight. It was the most delicious chinese food we've ever had!! I am the whitest of white girls, so I can't speak to the authenticity of the food. I am however an expert on deliciousness, and boy did this place deliver. I was in a hurry and needed a quick lunch, so stopped by this place on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles, which arrived in a brief five minutes. Amazing flavor! I've burned out my taste buds through years of eating spicy food, so the heat level was a little low for me. However, I was able to supplement with some of the chili oil placed at each of the tables, which got me to the level where I prefer my food: not so hot I can't taste it, but enough to give me indigestion later. In and out quickly with a delicious meal in my stomach. I will be back to try some of the other items on the menu. read more

Food is excellent. Service good, friendly and attentive. Ambiance fine, simple and clean. Prices are high for some dishes.

I have a friend from Chengdu that recommended this place. Wow oh wow! This place is the real deal! We ordered the twice cooked fish and sour taste potato off the "authentic szechuan" section. Highly recommend both of these dishes! So so so good. Our server was also great. read more

Passing through town and stumbled on this gem. They serve hand made noodles and dumplings. I was not super hungry but I wanted a quick bite before hitting the road for 5 hrs. I got a bowl of the Dan dan noodles and before I knew it I had finished the entire bowl. Flavors are spectacular, mingling a savory, salty, and mild spice. Definitely add the hot chili sauce as it is not your typical oil and has more flavor than actual spicyness. I did not plan on leaving a review but this mom and pop shop deserves your business as they just opened a little over a week ago. Super nice people. The space is simple and clean. Will definitely be coming back when I am in town. Oh I also grabbed their traditional beef soup to go. Will def grab some dumplings next time I am around. read more

My roommate took me to this restaurant for the first time, the food was delicious, the staff were super friendly and sweet. They opened it right before covid, and recently reopened it. I ordered beef noodles for myself and 4 dishes to share with 4 of us. The servers helped us move another table to extend ours. Which it gave us more spaces to eat, so we won't have to move around the dishes. We've ordered shredded spicy and sour potatoes, Mongolian beef, Sichuan boiled beef and fish, and crispy intestines with cilantro. The flavors were perfect, not too salty and not too greasy in comparison to other Chinese restaurants. Definitely would go back again for the food and service!!!! read more
