This place is a hidden gem. The grandma here is so friendly, all my friends enjoyed our experience with the owners of this place. Northern Chinese food has always been a cuisine I wanted to try, and this place def has satisfied the cravings. The food was amazing. We got the spicy boiled fish, Dan Dan noodles, chicken lo mein, fried rice, and pork eggplant. Dan Dan noodles were delicious, the eggplant was to die for with the sweet soy sauce balance, and the boiled fish was just the right amount of heat and flavor. (It was my favorite chicken restaurant) Both replied with not yet BUT it's always busy. That was enough for me! First time in I read no other reviews and ordered food I knew well. Orange chicken. Sesame chicken and what really grabbed my eye BOK Choy with Garlic. Right now there's no dine in but we were take out anyway. They were very fast! And when we got it home it was still very hot! The rice was very good & on the sticky side which we really like. The sauce on the orange chicken was very tasty with orange rind. The sesame chicken hit the spot with no complaints. By far our fave was the bok choy cooked to perfection with great flavor. Healthy healthy healthy!! This is our now new favorite place to go!! A wonderful and authentic Szechuan restaurant with hand pulled noodles. Always solid and every dish I've had is great! Obviously recommend the noodle dishes but also the pork buns which can sometimes run out towards the end of the day. Love that there's an authentic place in this area--it's hard to find outside of Federal and Havana. The owners used to have a place on the latter before this one. Same owners/family of the now closed China Jade. Everything I had was amazing. My girlfriend and I started with the veggie buns, since they were sold out of the pork, and they were very good. We also had the sorted beef and the dumplings. All the apps were excellent. The sorted beef was amazing and the dumplings were very good, clearly made fresh from scratch. For entrees, we had the Dan Dan noodles, the boiled beef in hot oil and the classic beef noodle soup and the Chongqing chicken. I'd say all were amazing and will certainly be ordered again in the near future, but what we ate the most of were the Dan Dan noodles and the Chongqing chicken(careful, this chicken has bones chopped up and fried with the meat for extra flavor). After months of our dogged quest for authentic Chinese food in Denver, we are overjoyed and over the moon to have found Noodles Express! As NJ/NY transplants who love to eat, this was our first true taste of home in Colorado. Yes, we've tried places all over Federal and Aurora, but as far as actual Sichuan dishes like 梅菜扣肉 (steamed pork belly w preserved veggie) or 夫妻肺片 (spicy 'sorted' beef), nowhere else has come close. The handmade pork buns legit pulled me back into my mom's kitchen, Ratatouille style. This is now our favorite restaurant in the Denver metro area, so please help us keep them in business!! FYI they offer delivery thru UberEATS and DoorDash but both are unscrupulously jacking up the prices on most dishes, so I'd recommend ordering directly with them for pickup. This is my favorite Chinese spot in Greater Denver. I relocated from NYC and have been looking for a somewhere that has authentic Sichuanese food. I've been here twice now and the food is great. No frills, affordable, authentic. The spicy boiled fish is on par with NYC Chinese, but is definitely spicy. Taste? It's a food review, after all. It's classic Szechuan, spicy, and smoky, and really rich. The beef is tender and the fish is nice and flaky, and the bean sprouts add some nice texture to balance it out. For me, just the right amount of heat, it's definitely hot, and it builds over time, but it's not a dare to eat it. After about 30 minutes my tongue is pretty much back to normal, lol. In summary, 9/10, would definitely eat here again, the dan dan noodles look amazing. read more

I am the whitest of white girls, so I can't speak to the authenticity of the food. I am however an expert on deliciousness, and boy did this place deliver. I was in a hurry and needed a quick lunch, so stopped by this place on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles, which arrived in a brief five minutes. Amazing flavor! I've burned out my taste buds through years of eating spicy food, so the heat level was a little low for me. However, I was able to supplement with some of the chili oil placed at each of the tables, which got me to the level where I prefer my food: not so hot I can't taste it, but enough to give me indigestion later. Passing through town and stumbled on this gem. They serve hand made noodles and dumplings. I was not super hungry but I wanted a quick bite before hitting the road for 5 hrs. I got a bowl of the Dan dan noodles and before I knew it I had finished the entire bowl. Flavors are spectacular, mingling a savory, salty, and mild spice. Definitely add the hot chili sauce as it is not your typical oil and has more flavor than actual spicyness. I did not plan on leaving a review but this mom and pop shop deserves your business as they just opened a little over a week ago. Super nice people. The space is simple and clean. My roommate took me to this restaurant for the first time, the food was delicious, the staff were super friendly and sweet. They opened it right before covid, and recently reopened it. I ordered beef noodles for myself and 4 dishes to share with 4 of us. The servers helped us move another table to extend ours. Which it gave us more spaces to eat, so we won't have to move around the dishes. We've ordered shredded spicy and sour potatoes, Mongolian beef, Sichuan boiled beef and fish, and crispy intestines with cilantro. The flavors were perfect, not too salty and not too greasy in comparison to other Chinese restaurants. Definitely would go back again for the food and service!!!! read more
