Ok this was a pleasant surprise. I think this used to be a house maybe that was turned into a restaurant. It looks deceiving upon first view. It's small and quaint. We were greeted as soon as we came in and got lucky we arrived right before the rush. We were seated and a server took our order. The orders of meat are pretty large so make sure to come hungry! The food was really good. Servings were heaping. They have a sauce bar, not a huge variety of options but it did the job. I will thank Yelp for this find because it definitely came thru!

I absolutely love Yummy Hot Pot and have been coming here for years. The service is friendly and attentive, features I have found to be rare of AYCE style restaurants. The ambiance isn't as flashy as other hot pot places in Denver, but the restaurant is still cozy and well maintained. Parking can be a bit of an issue due to the small lot, and sometimes the wait can be long, but I absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly hot pot experience.

Hotpot. All you can eat. Lamb, beef, pork, shrimp, seafood, rice, noodles, eggs, vegetables... It's my favorite restaurant in Colorado.

Don't miss out on this place! Parking is easy to pass, so watch out for the Yummy Hot Pot lit sign on the building. We went on a Tuesday and there were several tables already dining at about 5:15pm. I felt lucky to go at this time to beat the crowd that eventually came. It's AYCE, you tick box everything you want and there are so many veggie options. I also went to try the clams since it was limited 3 per order so I was curious. The only hot appetizer available were gyoza, which we did not try this time around. White rice is self serve but different types of noodles are also available for other base options. I got the mushroom base broth, my boyfriend got the pork broth. Then the menu was taken away. We received the most beautiful basket of ingredients and two plates of meat we ordered. Both the pork belly and the beef were very thinly sliced and there was a lot of it on the plates. We dove right in and right away I loved everything. The most outstanding were the meats. They were tasty in the broth only without the sauces but also just great quality and thawed properly. The clams were HUGE, heavy, but the meats inside were much smaller than you'd think. I think it was a great experience to have. I've never had clam shells that big before. The mushroom broth was definitely saltier than the pork broth. Both were still clean tasting and complimented the ingredients. Sauce bar was legit and they had anything you could imagine there. The highlight was the cilantro and the peanut sauce. You can order as you go, but unfortunately without the menu I had to go off my memory of what we originally ordered. If I missed out on any items, I didn't remember them. I'll have to remember to ask for another menu next time as a reference.

Who does not love HOT POT?!?! I DO! Wow! Came here for lunch with the girlfriends at opening on a Sunday. Hardly anyone and we got seated right away. Staff was very friendly. Place is casual and I like the artwork. We had different broths. I had the Tom yum, a friend had the mushroom broth, and my other friend had the bone broth. My broth was delicious. We were also served dumplings too and those things are scrumptious and dangerous! Lol. We ordered quite a few meats and vegetables for our hot pot. The two friends opted for bean thread noodles and I opted for ramen. This place is absolutely delicious!! I definitely will be coming back here again!

Ambiance: Yummy Hot Pot is not a fancy restaurant by any means, it is very busy and noisy but what would you expect from a popular restaurant. Service: Service was great, we went on a Sunday evening and they were extremely busy they had a line out the door. They sat us down right away and food was out within the first 10 minutes of being seated. Staff were friendly and attentive and ensured we had a great dining experience. Food: The food was really good, I ordered the pork bone broth and my wife ordered the spicy broth. Both broths were very tasty especially when you add the chefs special sauce to the mix. We also got the fried dumplings which were delicious as well. This place has earned its spot on our favorite restaurant list, food is great, service is great and it's close to home. The parking is a bit of a pain it's a very tiny parking lot but they do have additional parking at the bank. I would 100% recommend this restaurant

If you're in the Denver area, highly recommend this hot pot restaurant. It's good to call ahead and reserve a table if you're in a large group. We were there for the Christmas Eve lunch. It's was too crowded initially (around 11:30 am), but people started to come around 1 pm. I am a huge hot pot fan. Often go to the one close to our house in DC. However, my husband's family had never been to hot pot. They were excited to try this cuisine. I gave them step by step instructions on how they can make their own sauce, order broth and anything from the menu. It's all you can eat. We ordered at our own pace. Some hot pots have time restrictions. This one fortunately did not have time restrictions. I absolutely loved it. They seemed to have enjoyed it as well. Service was great. They were very responsive every time we had to order more food or clear our table. Very nice as well. It's about $27 for one which is about the same price we pay in the DC area.

My boyfriend and I went back to this restaurant a year later and it did not disappoint! It was definitely busy on a Friday night so I'd recommend getting on the waiting list since it's a smaller and more intimate setting. We didn't have to wait super long though. Come hungry because the food keeps on coming! I also recommend trying the endless dumplings. This place is especially great during the colder months.

However, when you enter through the front door and walk in, you get the sense that not only does this restaurant belonghere, you soon will be treated and understand what taiwanese-style hot hots are, and it is truly delicious! We started with orders of popcorn chicken and chicken wings. Both items are a must try appetizers. As I popped a couple of popcorn chicken in my mouth, even without the accommodating sauce, the tastebuds in my mouth were partners dancing and jumping for joy. The sauce used to marinade and cooked in the chicken wing was so good! No side sauce necessary, but it was an added bonus to the dish. My main entrée was the seafood lobster hot soup, and boy, it was flavorful, tasty, and totally delicious! So many items in this soup including shrimp, octopus, clams, mussels, and a lot of different vegetables, but my favorite was the taro. These taro slices went very well with the soup. Unfortunately, the experience was mixed--and ultimately disappointing. Before the meal, I stopped by the restroom to wash my hands. Both soap dispensers were empty or not working. I notified the bathroom attendant, assuming it would be quickly addressed. At the time, I brushed it off as a minor oversight. One of the highlights of Korean BBQ is always the variety of vegetable side dishes, and this visit did not disappoint in that regard. The assortment of banchan was plentiful--definitely the best part of the meal and something I always look forward to. However, the main dish fell short. I ordered the Kalbi Tang, which was quite disappointing. The beef ribs were clearly undercooked; the meat was tough, bristly, and difficult to chew. Instead of the tender, slow-cooked texture you expect from this dish. After the meal, I returned to the restroom--and to my surprise, the soap dispensers were still not working. This was no longer a small issue. It raised a serious concern: if customers didn't have access to soap, it's very possible that employees didn't either. The thought that staff might be handling food without properly washing their hands is unsettling and frankly unacceptable. I once heard a food inspector say that if you want to judge a restaurant, check the bathroom first. If they don't care about maintaining a basic level of cleanliness, it often reflects what's happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced that idea. While the side dishes were enjoyable, the combination of poor entree quality and concerning hygiene issues makes it hard to recommend returning anytime soon.
