I've been to the bronze empire twice now and I love love love the way they do hot pot. Each person gets their own personal stove with their own personal broth. You otherwise order things as a group. I love the lamb and the variety of mushrooms that the have. I got the tom yum pot the first time which was delicious. I got the authentic spicy pot but vegetarian the second time which was yummy but I may not go back to that one! Their old hours are super convenient for a late time dinner sesh and a great place to go to for birthdays! The servers are super attentive and additional orders of food always come out promptly.

Amazing food! Noodles where amazing along with the infinite food! All you can eat for relatively cheap. 30 bucks a person. Not bad for a crap ton of food. Service was very nice. Vibe was ok, but not my favorite. Overall very good food and place.

This has to be one of my absolute favorite hot pot spots in Denver. The Bronze Empire delivers every time -- from the rich, flavorful broths to the wide variety of add-ins like corn, spam, fish cakes, and of course, all the high-quality meats (think pork belly, Wagyu, ribeye). Everything is fresh, delicious, and makes the experience so fun. Hot pot is basically my love language once the weather turns chilly, and this place hits the spot perfectly. Whether you're going classic or trying some of the more unique options, it's always a good time. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a cozy, all-you-can-eat hot pot experience.

I heard about this spot, and since it's right by my new office, I had to check it out with my wife after work. It's tucked away in a small shopping center, so parking can be a bit tricky. The vibe is modern and lively. When we arrived at 6 PM, it wasn't too crowded, but we were seated at a tiny table for two. We asked to move to a bigger table, but that request was turned down. No big deal, so we went ahead and ordered our usual. This place doesn't have as much seafood as others, but they do offer skewers! The lamb skewer was amazing--rich in flavor! Everything came out super quickly and was really fresh compared to other all-you-can-eat hot pot places. Plus, their meat portions were thicker than what I've seen elsewhere. WILL DEFINETLY BE BACK!!!! but not in large group! they charge gratuity for large group.

Come try this if you like simple ingredients for your ayce hot pot with quality meats! Was craving soup n meat after a long hike. The tom yum base was delicious , doesn't taste like the typical tom yum powder soup. Ayce skewers were so good ~ we got lamb, chicken thigh, and beef. Other skewers were gifs to but just breaded differently. Beef tongue and usda meats were good quality for the price ($30/pp for a sat weekend) service was friendly but make sure to order a good amount of portions if your eat alot because each serving is quite small. No wait time at 8 pm but restaurant was popping. Would come to eat again!

After a long 12 mile hike in the cold rain, what better way to replenish your body than Hot Pot! Not only does this place have hot pot but they also have bbq and fried skewers! Surprisingly the music was a hit too. I was very surprised by the quality of the food at Bronze Empire. I found the all you can eat extremely affordable which includes the ayce skewers as well. My favorite skewers were the beef and chicken. The beef tongue was very fresh, my girlfriend loved it! Our waiter was extremely attentive. You can order by filling out a sheet of paper with all the menu items or you can tell the waiter directly. Definitely plan on coming again next time I'm in Denver.

Great all-you-can-eat hot pot spot with really good quality beef. Chinese new year-themed environment with warm colors and Chinese posters, for Chinese natives, feels like home. For Americans, would be a great experience if you wanted to try traditional dishes from China. What stood out the most was the service, the staff were super friendly and attentive the whole time. When we had a small issue, they handled it immediately and with a very sincere attitude, which honestly made the experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about customers. Overall, great food, great service, and I'd definitely come back for a visit!!!

Every thing we got from Michaela was so good. Her service was so great, and impressive We love the all meat here, as well as the soup here.

The Bronze Empire, to my memory, was one of the first if not the first hot pot restaurants that came to Colorado. I am not very familiar with hot pot and what constitutes authenticity for it, but I have been told from multiple friends that they are the real deal. I think I remember them not being an AYCE place a while back but they are now! The service here was great. Even though they were very busy, we were seated quickly and never had to wait on anything. They were also very knowledgable regarding everything on their menu, which is huge, and they made sure to let us know about cook time and how to enjoy everything the best we could. Great job wait staff! The food was also top notch. All the meat and vegetables we ordered tasted fresh and great. They also have multiple types of skewers that were cooked perfectly. The sauce station had a great variety of sauces and toppings too with recommendations on combinations. I would highly recommend getting their passionfruit drink. So good! If you're looking for a hot pot restaurant definitely check out The Bronze Empire.

A little bit of a wait on a Sunday evening. Waitress was super helpful, food was great. Fun vibe.

I really wish Yelp will let me do half stars because I'll give The Bronze Empire a solid 3.5. Food: The broth I had (I think it's chicken with fish maw) was very bland. Don't taste like anything, and I had to add a bunch of salt to make it tasty. Their kobe beef was good, but pork was a-ok. Veggies are fine, but everything was kinda expensive. Service: This is why I wanted to bump them into 3.5 stars. Service was good, attentive, nothing to complain about. Ambiance: Relatively clean Chinese restaurant. I've learned a long ago to not expect a nice ambiance if I want to eat Chinese food, lol So with that expectation, this place actually seemed pretty clean.

There was initially a miscommunication between my party and I being put on the waitlist versus a reservation so we ended up waiting an extra hour to be seated at a table. Besides that, food was ample and the quality isn't too shabby. The only thing that bothered my party was how messy the sauce station was... it felt like salt bae made it rain all the toppings across the station. Haha.

Ask the Community - The Bronze Empire

    Is this place gluten-free friendly?

Is this all you can eat style?

No, it is a la carte style.

It seems like from your website you pay per ingredient (not just protein which is understandable) but for veggies too, is this true? My favorite thing about hot pot is trying new ingredients!

While most of our menu is a la carte, we do have a few combos to choose from. We offer a seafood, tofu, veggie, and mushroom combo; which allow to try some new ingredients.

I love hot soup hot sauce but I don't eat beef can I do that?

They have a vegetarian meal and chicken and seafood

What kind of sauce do you have?

We have a DIY mix and match sauce bar with 16 different tasty options to choose from!

    Can you do gluten free?

Yes absolutely! They have rice noodles or plain rice if you like. I also think the sauces are gluten free except for the hoisin, and the broth does not have soy sauce. Double check with the server, but when I went I had options that worked for me.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. Then the string beans and a new dish - sauerkraut fish filet. The sauerkraut fish filet reminded me of the Vietnamese catfish soup but no sweetness added. Very good dish and will def order again. Also love that they have quality rice here.

Decided to come here because I was craving Chinese food and heard good things about this place…read more Figured I'd give it a try. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

I haven't been very impressed with Chinese food in Denver, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we were blown awayyyy!! We got several things to share, and I loved it all! The chicken shrimp wontons were so savory & a little bit spicy- the sauce was perfect. We next split the asparagus and green beans, which was the dish I was least excited about, but I'm pretty sure it ended up being my favorite. Crunchy, fresh, and a little spicy- delicious! Next we had the smoked wagyu brisket lo mein- wowwww this was so good. The smokiness wasn't overpowering, and once again the sauce was the best part. Noodles cooked to perfection. We ended with the Chong Qing chicken- this dish wasn't really up my alley, but my husband loved it! Salty & crunchy with sichuan peppers! Our server was really helpful & suggested all these dishes to us. To top it off, service was speedy! We were out of there in an hour with full happy bellies :)

The short rib noodles were also yummy. I thought the cold chicken dish was interesting, like Taiwanese cold noodles but without the noodles. The fried Chinese eggplant was also a highlight.
