Penelope and Cordy after their spa day

[[HIGHLIGHT]]These guys are amazing whether it's JP, Chris, Eddie, they do a great great job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The grooming van can come right to your house, they have everything they need. I've used them for the past few years and my pups always come out looking amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We have had a tough time with groomers in the past who didn't know how to groom sheepies but now we are so happy we found this crew.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend.

In reply to the owner: Apologizing doesn't make up for putting a hole in my dogs ear that is literally still there. What you should have done is reimbursed me for the entire procedure, and made a new policy to tell owners if something is wrong. Yes I had a specific groom, but the groomer didn't listen and just shaved her fully down, including the areas I said not to. Literally keep her tail fluffy, that was it and that was not understood. Yes I write negative reviews, but if you look at the time it's few and far between. People should be aware when a company or service is not up to par. You charge A LOT of money for poor quality. As a business owner myself, I understand what goes into customer service and hospitality and you did not display that. Telling me you wish you had a Time Machine is so unbelievably unprofessional that every time I tell someone they are shocked. You have other bad reviews, and there's a reason for that. Simply put, you put a hole in my dogs ear that is still there, and when I got her home she had blood on her ear and neck. She was hiding under my bed for two days. You can say sorry all you want, but until you learn how to groom a dog and change your policies, this kind of practice will continue to happen and you'll get even more vocally frustrated customers. Also the text messages are not out of context. I've saved them all and happy to email the full transcript to anyone who wants to read them. Including what I said as a frustrated customer. I have nothing to hide, I just don't want anyone else's fur baby to go through what mine did.

It was too pricy for the service. The grooming was not comprehensive. The place was not near-looking.

I wish I had done this sooner- it would have saved me from a lot of stress and aggravation. Communication with Brandi was awesome. She was always quick to respond and gave us updates with pictures everyday. It's definitely a worthwhile investment to have an exceptional companion for the next 15+ years!

Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Side note: it's worth doing 3 weeks versus 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark is when Pebbles really started to understand her marks and cues. From here there is so much more that can be refined and Brandi/Perry really capitalize on that threshold being crossed!

Thought I'd provide a warning for any owners of pets with notable health conditions, like my pom…read morewith severe tracheal collapse. I brought Oliver in today for an evaluation. He had never been to a daycare facility before, at least not since we adopted him. I had my doubts as to whether he would gel with the experience. He's very difficult with people he doesn't know, but generally does alright at dog parks and is fine with professionals like vets and groomers, so I figured with another set of professionals he may be alright after all. And to be completely fair, he WAS difficult. They told me had to be wrapped in a towel for anyone to approach him to remove his leash and took a couple hours to actually socialize with any dogs. This guy has to go in for grooms and vet tech appointments monthly where his leash has to come off and while I have no illusions about him being a difficult dog, he is, this is the first I've honestly ever heard that removing his leash was an issue at all. Considering what followed with his return, and that this is a thing that's never come up before, it's left me wondering how much of it was truly Oliver and how much of it was the staff. When he came back to me he was squirrelly and jumping around with a very thick gauge rope around his neck. As he has severe tracheal collapse, this is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable, as anything that pulls at his neck can exacerbate his condition, or worse, completely cave in his trachea, killing him. The staff member that brought him out admitted she was new here but said that nobody from the AM shift said anything about his severe tracheal collapse, nor was she aware of it being noted in his online profile (it's absolutely a thing I made a note of, along with his medicinal schedule to treat him for this disease). She informed me that he would not be a good fit for their facility. Fair enough. An evaluation is exactly that, and if he doesn't gel I'm not obligated to their services. If that's all it was, I wouldn't be here writing a review. Instead I wanted to offer a warning for any pet owners that may have a dog with severe medical issues or concerns to consider going elsewhere where staff may be more sensitive and attentive and not outright dangerously negligent. That he's not a good fit for Playful Pack, I say the feeling is mutual.

After the other daycare down the road became overcrowded and downright unsafe for my dog, I decided…read moreto try out PP and am so glad I did. Prices are reasonable (I love that they offer half-day as well), and they have webcams and enrichment activities, which set them apart. They also provide report cards for free with lots of photos. As a bonus, there's a vet hospital next door, which puts my mind at ease. And my dog loves the staff as well.
