I've used this company for about a year and a half and have had a good experience with my dog's dedicated walker, but anytime a substitute walker is needed there seem to be issues. A decent example is when the substitute didn't have a key to my unit (a key which my dedicated walker has) and saw that the management office was closed (there is a sign on the door saying to push a call button to get in touch with someone from the management office), instead of calling my cell or my emergency contact, the walker just stayed in the lobby for the allotted walk time. This meant that my dog didn't get walked that day. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time so I write this review as a caution to anybody looking for pet walking services that while this company's dedicated walkers are great, they don't have the best customer service when your walker isn't available and at the price you're paying per walk, it's unacceptable that this type of incident has happened on multiple occasions. read more

This review is only for reference. I have NOT worked with Fetch! Pet Care. However this may answer some questions I wondered myself but couldn't find in the reviews when considering this place out of many: - Prices (as far as I could find) are not listed on the site. - You MUST create a log in if you want to further explore the site. - I was on hold for 13 minutes before I could reach a representative. I'm not sure if this is the same number used to contact them if you're a client already. I highly worry if you need to update a scheduled service or reach someone to alert them to anything that it could take 15 minutes or longer which no one wants to sit on the phone listening to a loop of music. - I only asked about 1hr walks 3x a week which you usually receive some kind of reoccurring discount for. - The price quoted to me was $48 and some change so yes, nearly $50 to take your dog out a day for an hour. As another reviewer said it's more expensive than wag, other dog walking apps, and as this is my 6th site I've contacted while searching. It's by FAR the most expensive. Now again, I reiterate I have NOT used this business' service. I'm positive they are amazing as the many reviews attest to. I would personally go elsewhere merely because of the price point, and yes I'm not a fan that I had to call to find pricing and I had to wait nearly 15 minutes to get in contact with anyone. Lastly, other places I've search are also bonded, licensed insured ect. to include GPS tracking in real time and online scheduling. I really liked Fetch, although due to cost, we moved on. As for service, they are superb. Easy to get a hold of on the phone, or they will return your voicemail. By email they are quick too. Setup is easy, they assign a walker and that person comes to meet your pet. Assuming it works out, they have an app with a timer and GPS map function that they start. At the conclusion of the walk, an email is sent with any comments, a map with walk route and what was accomplished (#1/#2), and the total time of visit.I had two walkers who came at two times of the day. Never had any issues with tardiness or short walks. I also liked Fetch because they were able to start up my service very quickly. If you desire a 30 minute walk for your dog, Fetch is a great option. read more

I'm speaking on behalf of my partner G (not listing her full name for her public anonymity) who booked and cancelled services for our cats Ralphie and Moe. We've been loyal customers of Fetch. Our previous cat sitter Kiki has been wonderful. We recently booked cat sitting services a little last-minute but had to cancel also last-minute due to a family emergency. We expected the owner to be understanding. But the owner responded quite rudely to my partner G and had no compassion. We mentioned a non-working Zoom link for speaking with someone prior to the car sitting. We mentioned it being a complicated process and he responded "I don't know what's so complicated." We also noticed a $258 charge on our credit card. We did not approve this charge. We will be contacting our credit card company. Due to the poor taste our in mouth from this experience we will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I'm just writing this to make other customer aware: don't cancel last minute unless you are prepared for your card to be charged in full without your knowledge. We have no complaints regarding the pet sitting services of Fetch. It's just the owner we had issue with. And I'm sure he'll be the one responding to this! After 2 years without travel during the pandemic I was so anxious about leaving my cats while I went on a business trip, but Fetch was amazing. The intake process was so thorough and I felt confident that they knew everything they needed to know about each of my cats as well as about my home. They accommodated the special feeding schedule my senior cat needs, and the sitter Alyssa took such good care of all three of my babies, giving lots of love and attention to my clingy pandemic kittens while also making sure my elderly grump got her nutritional needs met. After reading so many five star reviews of Fetch!, I was positive that I would use their dog-sitting services. I quickly enrolled online and submitted an online request. I even went ahead and purchased the $50 for $75 Yelp deal because I thought it would all work out. An hour later, I got a call from them saying they did not have any sitters available (for a weekend in October), but that they were in the process of hiring new people and that they would be in touch if someone became available. Okay, no problem. The next day, they called back, saying they did find someone available. Her name was Jasmine and she would be in touch shortly to set up a meet & greet consultation. Jasmine indeed called a few minutes afterward and suggested meeting the following day, a weekday, at 2pm. I happily agreed, setting aside all work obligations because my pup is basically my child, and it was important to me to find the right sitter. The day that Jasmine was supposed to come, I got an email confirmation from Fetch! saying she'd be there at 2. Great! 2:00 no one there. 2:15 nada 2:30 no sign, no text or call or email. I called Fetch! to see what was going on. They had no idea what happened to Jasmine. Hmm. Jasmine, you mysterious thing, you. Needless to say, I don't trust Fetch! right now. They hire people whose main duty is to show up, and I may have gotten the 1 gal who decided to drop her job responsibilities that day. Bad luck for me, for her, for Fetch!.. Fetch! apologized and said they would tell her not to come, and would I be interested in booking someone else? Would you trust a company who already let you down once to care for your loved one? I needed to go home for a week, and if I couldn't find a super place to board my dog, I was going to have to cancel my flight and drive instead. I found Fetch through a link from my dog's health insurance (VPI), and met Mary Beth a couple of days later. This is 5 star pet sitting, no kennels, it is one-on-one attention with a dog lover and your sweet pooch in their residence. The best part is that I love how personalized each service is. Megan was our sitter and she was absolutely fantastic. I will be asking for her again for future. I had 100% trust in her. What tops the cake was that after only 3 nights with Coby, he came home, and all of a sudden, he stopped barking at the door when someone was entering or knocking. Being without a friend to sit for our remaining cat for the first time since we got them a decade ago, we blindly looked to the internet for a sitter able to visit multiple times a day for food and medications where we would not have to board our pet. Fetch showed up and listed as having a presence in our neighborhood and based on many good reviews we decided to use them, which turned out to be a great choice. The staff was quick to put us in touch with the person who would be visiting our home and taking care of our pet, this person quickly set up a time to pick up a key and get to know "Ziggy". With contracts signed and direct contact info given (as well as an offer to text photos or such while we were away), we were able to travel with a sense of ease. The price was more than reasonable, the person taking care of our pet was walking distance away and Ziggy seemed to handle him perfectly...even if it took a few hours for him to forgive us for leaving for the better part of a week. We like the online tool that allows you to request service, enter pet preferences, change your payment method, etc. Last but not least, the detailed reports you receive after each visit are very informative. For instance, a report from our most recent visit included a picture of a spot on our cat's head that might need attention. This summer we had the best family addition ever, a little 9 week old Boston Terrier named Theo. Shortly after getting him, we knew that we would need some kind of dog walking service, as we are two full time working parents. After researching our options in the Arlington area, we decided to give Fetch a go based on Yelp reviews. We were assigned Autumn and she came over to meet with us and our new pup. She asked if we were considering training and asked to be kept in the loop, so she could work with him on new commands that he might be learning. As Theo got older, Autumn has introduced him to other pups that live close by. And has even done trips to the local dog park with him. Every time Autumn comes by we get a text/photo/video clip of the visit. It's wonderful to know that someone so loving is coming by to spend time with our little guy. Fetch is extremely reliable and very flexible with adjusting visits. They're very good about sending updated invoices when services are changed. They are even available during the holiday season. My schedule can be quite 'fluid' so the ease of modifying walks (times, days, etc) is essential and Fetch makes it so easy and is amazingly quick to respond - not only that, but Dave always comes through. Dave sends an email every time he walks my dog, giving me an update on what they were up to, and, since Dave has been my walker for over two years, he knows if my dog is acting a bit 'off' and lets me know. I had used Fetch as a daily walking service for my senior dog, and thought they were wonderful. Lynn was a godsend, and one of the most compassionate and wonderful people you would ever meet. Then, in April of 2012, new management (Jay Barrett) took over, and the place went to hell. They are terrible at communication, insensitive to older animals, inflexible in general, and treat owners like second class citizens. Clearly, to Jay, this is less about a love of animals and more about a bottom line dollar amount. Fetch! is fantastic! After previously having a bad experience with a pet sitter, I've had friends come by to feed my cat when I'm out of town. But now that the cat is on daily medication (which he's not great about taking), I felt bad asking friends to deal with his drama. A friend recommended Fetch! and I haven't looked back! My first sitter was great for the cat but failed to bring in packages for a week, making it clear we weren't home. I gave that feedback and got an immediate response and apology from the owner.
