I want to start off. I have been taking my babies to Groom Salon for over 3+ years now. I always had a great experience. Mirna my dog's groomer is wonderful. I have no complaints. But as for the company and management , I am appalled and highly upset. I always deal with Jenifer and she is normal very attentive and responsive. Initially the first incident was with my first dog Mochi. I always every time spoke and told Jenifer please and if you can keep my dog away from other dogs. JENIFER WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING and say every time and I quote No problem I will keep her in my office. Then one day when I pick up Mochi I saw her one left eye was blood shot red, I asked Jenifer and she just shrugged it off. My dog is small breed Pomeranian. I know that groom is cage free and all dog play together, but I informed her every time my dog is timid and small and don't want them around other dogs for there on safety'. After that first incident, I was very sad. I was worried I cried. I had to take my dog to the vet to make sure she was OK.. luckily she was OK nothing to it was just a bruise in her eye pupil that the blood had to dissolve. But I let it go and I was like you know their dogs accident happened, but I will make sure that I would inform Jennifer again and emphasize. Please separate my dogs. So once I got my second dog, Boba, I start taking her with mochi to get groomed all the time together same day.. it's been about a year for Boba and I always emphasize. Please keep them away from other dogs again and also this is a grooming business where they ask for medical record of the dogs. I also provide all the information needed and it stated mochi is spayed and Boba is not so I prefer both my female dogs to be together but away from other dogs every time.. one day after the Groomer in about a month and a half later I have an appointment for Boba to get spayed and I was shocked to find out that she was pregnant. I am emotionally, scarred, and sad. I stood there and froze and cry because I was worried about Boba. And I don't take my dog anywhere that encounter other dog their house dogs the only place that she went was the Groomer 100%. And I do understand that when dogs mate they get stuck someone have to separate them or else they will be stuck like that for a good 30 minute.. I was not informed about any issue or anything that happened and once I had to take care of my dog and she have to go through the process of the medical procedure. I took some time to calm down and contact them and email them to let them know my frustration and upset situation.. just to wait and wait. Two months now no response no call no explanation. No apologies nothing.. with service like this. I just want transparency and honesty. I've been going there for years, but how this situation happen and how they handled it I'm disgusted and I truly do not trust this company.. I just want everyone to know . My babies are like family to me the feeling stress anxiety that I had to go through and also my babies Boba that had to be sedated and have to go through surgery. It took her over a week or so to recover due to all the sedation cause she was so small.. I would respect them more if I had an email or call to let me know anything but not even a peep or a word is disgusting read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this salon. I clearly asked for only a half-inch trim on my dog's beautiful long coat, and he was cut down to the bone. This isn't the first time it's happened. It was a fantastic experience at GROOM! I have my late Mom's 17-year-old mixed-breed fluff ball Muffin that was a matted mess. He is blind deaf and sassy so not the easiest to deal with. While dropping him off they didn't make me feel bad (I was a bad dog mommy and let him get matted) and we're very understanding and compassionate. About an hour and a half later they called me to pick them up and he looks like a completely different dog. He loved his experience there. He was able to socialize with other dogs while he was there so it was a win-win for both of us. They take such pride in their work, and I highly recommend GROOM. read more

I've been a loyal customer of this groomer for over two years, but after my most recent experience, I will not be returning. When I brought my 12-pound dog in, they initially confused her with another dog's chart. Jennifer the owner kept pressing me to get a "summer cut" instead of listening to how I wanted my dog groomed. No one mentioned she was matted, yet when I came to pick her up, I was hit with a surprise $25 "dematting fee." At no point was I told there would be an extra charge, they just added it on without informing me. When I brought this up to the owner, Jennifer, she was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of listening or offering any kind of customer service, she argued with me, said she "didn't have time for this," and even threatened to call the police -- which she did. I'm still not sure what she expected them to do over a billing dispute. She was extremely aggressive and argumentative. I brush my dog every day and when I told her this she told me I am doing it wrong. I ended up paying the fee just to leave, but the entire experience was shocking and unprofessional. Their prices are already high ($100 for a small dog), and to be treated this way on top of that is unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that treats both you and your pet with respect. read more

I have been coming to Groom with my dogs since it opened. Jennifer, the owner, is a gem. She remembers the dogs and their families and is welcoming and warm to all. I was away for two years after my last dog passed. But last week I took our "new to us" rescue Cavapoo for the works. Jennifer welcomed me back and put my dog right at ease. She explained how to implement the look I wanted but could not describe myself. Then, Myrna made her the perfect combination of beautiful and cute, exactly what I had in mind. They know all of the cuts for the breeds and sizes and pay attention to the details. Another positive, they do not cage dogs waiting to be groomed or picked up. It is a large space, so they separate the dogs on leashes at the right distance throughout the immaculately clean building. I am so pleased to be going back there again. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. We took our golden doodle and gave inspiration pictures of what the cut is supposed to look like and she came back looking nothing like it. They said it was because she was matted but we have been brushing her religiously. They even felt her hair when we dropped her off and said that we've been doing a great job brushing her and that they could do the haircut we requested. To our surprise, we picked up a shaven dog! They did not even call us that this is what they are going to do. Makes me wonder if they just were rushing and decided they will shave her down to make it quick. Even her face was cut down so much which makes no sense because she was not matted in the head at all. Maybe some of their other groomers are good and we just had got one who is not as experienced but WE WILL NEVER GO BACK or take that chance. Absolutely the worse customer service from Jeffrey! For some reason this business is impossible to get on the telephone. As a courtesy, I contacted to cancel and reschedule my appointment. After a dozen times calling, Jeffrey left me on hold for over 10 minutes. Then he proceeded to hang up on me, not answer, talk to me in a rude manner and not listen to my very clear request to reschedule. What a disappointment! Absolutely love Groom! I've tried countless grooming salons, and none of them could really style my dog's fur that way I'd hoped. Dooboo is a Maltese with wavy fur (instead of straight) and I know this can be more difficult for grooming. We typically request Irene for our appointments, and had a great experience each time. I ask for a round face with an even fur length on his body and she does a great job! He always comes out looking so cute and squeaky clean. And happy! Another reason why I love Groom! so much is because of their cage-free environment. Other grooming salons typically keep dogs in cages while they wait for the owners to pick them up. I feel like this added to my dog's anxiety and nervousness. Scheduling is straightforward and I like their online system. The prices are higher compared to other grooming places like some reviews have mentioned. But I definitely recommend Groom! for their skill and the stress-free environment for the dogs. I cannot say enough good things about GROOM! We followed Mirna here from another shop when they closed their doors, and we could not be more pleased. We were taking our elderly pomeranian/terrier mix to see Mirna regularly for a number of years, and even though he developed some neuro issues at the end that made him freak out on the grooming table, Mirna always managed to make him look incredibly dapper. Fast forward to this week--my husband and I adopted a new rescue dog who was stinky with greasy hair and a fair number of mats. I immediately called GROOM! and the owner, Jenifer, was able to squeeze him in the following day. He looks and smells like a new dog, and he is so much happier now that he is mat-free.
