I've been using No-D-Lay Cleaners for three years now and they do a great job. The prices are reasonable and they're open from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday - Friday, and in the afternoon on Saturdays. I recently brought in a new dress shirt to be laundered and received it back with an odd floral pattern on the white collar. Turns out the shirt was manufactured with a floral design to help fight stains, or something odd along those lines, and the cleaning process brought the color out. I brought the shirt back to have the cleaners look at it and they took care of the new stain. One of the gentlemen told me he personally worked for 30 minutes on the stain to bleach it out, and the shirt looks as good as new. The best part? It was free of charge, because, as he said, "you are a customer". Five stars. read more

I have been going to No-D-Lay Cleaners since 2007. Here is what I really like about them: -They do the laundry on site, they are not a valet cleaners that sends there cleaning off-site so they can do quick turnarounds. -I don't always pressure them to provide quick turnarounds, but if you need something for an emergency meeting or some event that just came up, then they can do same day service if need be. -They also offer sewing and tailoring services. For our family, this has been good for buying some clothes that are not finished, or bought with the lengths not quite right, or putting on a missing button, or sewing up a hole in a pocket, or just a lot of things that just happen. -They are also very friendly and try hard. One time they made a promise to have all of my clothes done by a certain time because I needed them for an event. They weren't done on time for pick up, so they delivered them to my home in person so I would have my clothes. -They always give my daughter a lollipop when they see her, so she likes coming too. -They are also open on Monday through Saturday, which helps too. 1. Not honest. Too much detail to go into. Just watch the quotes and be careful. 2. Just had a designer red satin dress cleaned and now there is damage to the satin in multiple places in the chest area! Owner only offered to reimburse me $16 which is the cost of the cleaning. Not recommended for clothes that you value. read more

I had some luck here for VERY simple jobs like hemming a pair of jeans. Then I brought in an expensive jacket and they butchered the sleeves. My wife brought in an expensive shirt for dry cleaning and they laundered it (ruined it) and then tried to blame Nordstrom's, then the manufacturer, then my wife, etc. So I decided not to go anymore. Out of desperation I needed a suit and a blazer dry cleaned and I decided to give them one more try. I was quoted $25 for the two. I double-checked and asked if that was the total and they said "yes". When my wife went to pick them up, they charged her $50! I would avoid this place unless you are fond of playing roulette with your clothing. read more

I have been going to this dry cleaners for quite some time now without any issues. However, recently they lost a few of my items. And when I say a few they lost EIGHT dresses of mine. EIGHT! I am still in shock that such a huge order could have gone missing!! I am devastated. On the plus side, David (I think he might be the son of the owners) took responsibility for the loss and said that he was going to call through all of the invoices to see if a customer took my items home on accident. He was really apologetic. David said to give him a few weeks to find them. We haven't had a conversation yet about compensation for the items that they lost yet but I will update my review in a few weeks. Hoping some wonderful QueenAnne resident will bring my 8 dresses back! UPDATE: My dresses were returned! Yay! It's a dry-cleaning miracle. I will say, this was a pretty crazy situation. Not just for me but for the dry-cleaners. In their 30 years of business this has never happened to them. What I really appreciate about this business is how they handled the situation. They were very nice and eager to either find the dresses or figure out a solution. As a matter of fact, they had started the process for compensation when my missing cloths were brought back. Based off of that, I would return to this business for their dry-cleaning services. As mentioned, I had never had any issues at all with them until this crazy thing happened. We're all human and make mistakes. But what I think is most important is how professional and accommodating they were in order to make it right for their customer. read more

Don't delay, go to N-D-Lay! Seriously, I can not express who thrilled I am with the quality of service and workmanship I received from this store. After receiving quotes from a variety of other stores, most of whom turned me away, on a whim I took my $5 Goodwill find coat to replace the entire lining. What came back, at a very reasonable price, was a cost that looked new and worth $100's. They went above and beyond, even calling me when it was ready. I took in a leather coat and a work related coat to have the zippers replaced. So after two weeks and no phone call I decided to stop in and see if they were finished. I told them when I dropped off the coats that all I wanted was the zippers repaired. Nothing else. The leather coat was $139.00 for the zipper repair when they told me it should only be about $65.00. To my surprised they told the leather person to repair the pockets and the lining. I said I wasn't going to pay that much. The owner's daughter said that they had to pay the leather shop to repair the jacket. But I didn't ask to have the pocket's repaired or the jacket lining. So we went round and round on the price. I told them I would pay $100.00 because she looked like she was going to cry. BTW they didn't repair my other work jacket. So if you don't want to be screwed don't take your leather coat to them or anything else. read more

I've been to No-D-Lay Cleaners since I moved to Queen Anne last year and they've always done a great job. Their prices are super reasonable, especially for button ups! They're fast, efficient and do it well. My only complaint is that they're not open on Sundays which is not very convenient. read more

One of the worst dry cleaning experiences I have ever had. Took them one week to clean a few shirts and then my alterations were not done on time. No discount was offered for failing to live up to their name, "no delay". Ended up taking my clothes back and will have them altered elsewhere. Also why is one shirt $4 to clean just because it has 2 pockets??? That's ridiculous. Will not be coming back. read more

I brought in an alteration to be fixed and after the dress ripped in the exact same spot. From what I could see, it looked like they just bandaged the problem instead of truly fixing it. When I brought it back in, they told me they could try again but I'd have to pay And it would probably rip again. They clearly did not know what they were doing and They should have been honest the first time and told me it couldn't be fixed and not just taken my money. Also they were going to charge me to re-read it. if they were going to try and fix it again I should not have been charged. I will not be going back. I took the dress to a proper tailor who showed me what needed to be done. They pretty much took my money and won't be getting anymore! read more
