I needed shirts done for a wedding and I had checked a couple of dry cleaners in the area and this one was the best rating on yelp so I went there. They did a good job and they were on time. The only downside was as I was waiting for them to open and they were late in getting to the store that morning but that's not that big of a deal I had the time. read more

This is the ONLY cleaner I trust with my clothes. They always do an amazing job at both cleaning and tailoring. I recently took a pair of silk trousers to Barg after getting oil all over them during a pedicure. I had little hope they could be saved and was so sad (they are Celine, so not cheap). I just picked them up today and they look as good as new! I couldn't believe it! They are miracle workers and super friendly too. read more

I'm new to the area and decided to try this place out. They don't do the cleaning on site, which is fine. I dropped my clothes off on a Monday was expecting them to be ready Friday. When I went to pick them up on Friday they told me they weren't there and to try again later. I came back the following Monday, the clothes weren't cleaned and pressed very well and they ripped one of my shirts and told me it's because I lean on my elbows too much!!! If you care about your clothes take them somewhere else! read more

We have been use this store for many years. They always kind and excellent job for all my clothes. I love this cleaners. Thank you.

Trying to find a good dry cleaner is challenging. The proprietor never seemed to care or mark stains when I would point them out. I finally pulled the plug on this place when they destroyed a $150 shirt. It was a dry clean only shirt. They washed and bled all the colors. It is destroyed. They refused to pay for the shirt and they refused to even remove the cleaning charge. I am off to try and find a good dry cleaner. Don't assume because these guys are expensive that they do good work. Below average at best with far above average prices. read more

Easy parking for a quick pick-up or drop-off. Friendly, smiling owners inside. Padded hangers for your clothes. Always ready on time. Ribbons tied around your sweater jackets. What more can we ask for from a neighborhood dry cleaner? read more

Barg also offers reasonable and high-quality alterations. I recently had them adjust the hem length on a double-layered bridesmaid dress and was, overall, pleased with the result. The communication was a little bit less than perfectly smooth, but the seamstress (not the main proprietress of the dry-cleaning shop) delivered what she said, when she said, and for the price she quoted: within one week, I had a perfectly altered hemline to the exact length that I specified for around $50, which was less than half the price I was quoted by several other seamstresses in the area. So, for a simple, quick alteration at a reasonable rate, do visit Barg. read more

Hours are wrong and the lady working refused to help me. Won't be sending my clothes there.

I needed someone to do a small sewing repair, and was quoted an absurd $40 by one of the dry cleaners on Queen Anne Ave. I took in to Barg instead and they repaired it nicely for $15. I've had nothing but good experiences with this company. read more

These guys really saved me on a rush job a few years ago when another cleaner messed up on my white dinner jacket. I've been with these guys ever since. As a few of you may know that I had a recent score on two sweaters. I dropped them off Monday afternoon and they were ready by Thursday. Total price for cleaning was $19.16! Parking is not a problem here like at other places on the hill since they have one next door! Bonus! I don't do a lot of dry cleaning, but I'm happy that I have a neighborhood cleaner that I trust. I'm always amazed that they remember my name each time I go in. Barg cleaned my vintage wedding gown beautifully. They were up front about what stains might not come out and the price was great! They were recommended to me by a dressmaker for a local bridal boutique. read more

I don't know why I haven't written a review about Barg yet - I guess I kept waiting for them to disappoint me (which is what I have come to expect from drycleaners) - but after over a year of going to Barg I have nothing but really nice things to say. Mitchell's shirts are always done with just the right about of starch, my slacks and sweaters always look nice, stains are always gone, and they put my wedding dress in a protective hanging bag. They gave us a discount for a wedding present, and even though Mitchell is usually the one to pick our stuff up, the woman there always recognizes me and yesterday congratulated me on getting married. I really like this place, they do a good job and they're so nice. Parking is crazy easy here, and it's right next door to Eat Local so you can pick up some food for dinner too! read more

Barg is by far the best cleaner option on Queen Anne Hill. They have been our go-to dry cleaner for a few years now. Their work is consistently excellent and they tend to go above and beyond (re-sewing loose buttons etc.). My husband took his suit to Barg to be altered before our wedding and they worked quickly and meticulously to make sure he looked great on our big day. They are currently cleaning and preserving my wedding dress and have gone to great pains to make sure everything is perfect before they box it up. They have shown me the cleaning progress as I have come in to pick up/drop off other clothes and I really appreciate the level of care they are providing for such an important garment. read more

Staff is fabulous and it was pretty inexpensive! Definitely the best place around. In a really convenient location in Queen Anne and quick service. Perfect place for SPU students to get their dry cleaning done because of how close it is from the school, about less than a 10 minute bus ride away. read more

This is my favorite cleaners! Kim is SO nice and always does a great job. Super quick and gets all the stains out every time!

This was my first time using this service, but I did give them a challenge. I took two dresses in, one of which was covered with tiny studs which are a bit of a minefield for cleaners. They managed it nicely. My special occasion dress is clean, gorgeous and still the right shape! Lol. My only complaint was the price. Even considering the studdy dress, the bill was really steep, so much so that I can't say I'll use them again. But for the quality of their work, I definitely think kudos are in order. read more

Baseline for price shopping dry cleaners is the cost of 1 men's dry cleaned (including starching and pressing) button up shirt. They're charging $6.75! Others charge around $2 bucks per shirt on average. Convince me why these guys are so much better for the price? Oh my, they're not aware of what the competition is charging. read more
