This is my go to cleaners for my wool Brooks Brothers suit that goes straight to the cleaners after every wedding and funeral.

I used their wash and fold service when our laundry machines broke. For a premium price, I received some bad attitude and clothes that were seriously not folded. They were packed in a bag and very wrinkly. If you don't want to wash and fold laundry, don't offer the service. I'll be by in a few days to get some of my payment refunded. read more

Since I've moved to the Tri-Cities, I really miss Surf. I'm paying more for dry cleaning here in this scrappy little hamlet than I paid at Surf, and most places are open fewer hours for drop off and pick up. Also, I was so accustomed to extending the life of my favorite sweaters with Surf's very affordable re-weaving (or whatever you call it) service, that I can't find here. Bums me out. Surf is also very reliable, always delivering when they say they will, and very friendly. Good place all around. read more

I use these cleaners pretty frequently, and I stand by them. Never damaged my clothes and always very polite and warming.

The staff here is always very nice. I greatly appreciate the later hours they have so I don't have to worry about not being able to pick-up/drop-off clothes. I also recently had jeans hemmed here, they did a great job matching the original hem of the pants which had a wider cuff that normal. read more

Huge ripoff for hemming curtains. 15$ per panel! Geez!! And the owner didn't even mention the hefty price tag at drop off. I dropped off 10 curtains to boot. A few blocks away on 85th there is another alteration place that does it for only 5$ per panel. For the price of these alterations on my ikea curtains, I should have just bought silk ones off horchow or crate and barrel. The only saving grace was the fact that they got the red wine out of my viscose blouse. Maybe stick to dry cleaning only and take your alterations elsewhere. read more

This place is awesome! First of all, they are open early and late! Second, they do everything great - great cleaning, great alterations and great special projects! I took my roommates Coast Guard uniform there today to have two new patches sewn on and I was explaining how he wanted it and they already knew what to do! I took my shirts home and thought everything was good, and then I noticed - as I pulled on the shirt my mother got me as a gift from her trip to Italy - that they had WRITTEN MY NAME IN SHARPIE ON THE SHIRT. I checked my other shirts from this load, and sure enough, on the inside, at the bottom of the buttons, was my name. Even on my white shirt. I can't recommend a dry-cleaners that actively stains clothing. read more

Ths place is close, and a great value. ~$1.50 for a dress shirt. The guy at the counter is super nice and friendly and the computer system is modern, they just tap in your name and print you a ticket. Great place. read more

These guys are great! I have been going to them for six years, dropping off five or six shirts per week almost every week. They know my name, they know when I usually pick up, they are always friendly. They have also done suits and coats and minor alterations for me. In all this time, they have never damaged anything. Once, a shirt belonging to another customer got wrapped up in my order. I don't think one error in more than 200 visits is a bad record at all. read more

I literally made a Yelp account to write this review. I moved to the area a few months ago and came here a few times. The service was fine and the prices were okay. Two days ago, I came in to drop off some dry cleaning and get a couple alterations. The woman working was helpful and quoted me at $47, which I thought was reasonable. However, when I came back in to pick up my clothes, the man behind the counter charged me $83 and change. When I told him that I was quoted at $47, he said he didn't care and that I could take my business elsewhere. So I will. You should, too. Don't give these crooks your business. read more

I just had my first visit here and they made it so easy. I had the sleeves hemmed on a knit dress and it turned out perfect (I measured and pinned it myself), and a couple of wool pants dry cleaned. The prices are reasonable and the turn-around was very fast (dropped off on Saturday, ready on Wednesday eve). I will definitely come here again. read more

Surf is a solid dry cleaner with reasonable prices, consistent service, and friendly staff. Better than Bakker or Sunset, for sure. My spring trench coat was $16, a lace dress $9, and a wool blazer $10. I'd come back. read more

After 9 years going to this cleaner I'm done. $40 to hem a shirt when Nordstrom charges less than half and does a better job. I'd advise a heads up next time you're gearing up to WAY over charge someone. A warning on price would be the right thing to do. Our family has used this dry cleaning shop for years but, no more. My wife took in an evening gown a couple of weeks before the holidays to have it spot cleaned. The gown had a glitter design on it and because of this the laundering instructions on the tag said in no uncertain terms, 'Do NOT dry clean, spot clean only!' She had the counter person write 'Spot Clean Only' on the cleaning ticket and made sure that the person understood where the spot was and that it could not be dry cleaned. A week later she picked it up and, you guessed it, a $400 evening gown ruined. No more beautiful glitter design. When she asked what happened, the man behind the counter shrugged his shoulders and replied that they had dry cleaned it and all the glitter had fallen off. "Didn't you see the instruction on the ticket that said to spot clean only?", she asked. "I guess my guys just threw it in with the other dry cleaning without checking.", he said. There was no offer of remuneration, replacement, etc. Just a 'Sorry'. I guess if you are just having regular cleaning done they do a good job, but you should not have them do anything out of the ordinary. They are not professionals. If I could give them zero stars, I would have. read more

I was visiting Seattle for an overnight stay and I got makeup on the sleeve of a light colored raincoat. Took the coat to the Surf location on Fremont Ave N but they were unable to get the coat back to me that day so she suggested I go to the main plant on 65th. I'm happy to say that the stains were removed and the coat cleaned as good as new.......and the best part was that I was able to pick it up later that same afternoon. The service was not inexpensive but I expected to pay for the promptness. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate me in such a short time. read more

I have been using this dry cleaner for years. Although expensive, I've always found the front desk gentleman quite gracious, and I continued to take my clothes there even though it costs $15 to dry clean ONE dress. It was with confidence I recommended this shop to my father who needed his sheets and ratty old bed spread cleaned. Sheets and a bed spread folks. The queen size ratty bedspread was too big for his small condo washing machine, so he decided to let Surf Cleaners handle it. I went to pick them up today. $107 dollars. No, not a typo. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN DOLLARS. He could have purchased brand new 300 count cotton sheets, and a fancy down comforter for less money. I gasped when I saw the bill. If the place didn't have someone in line behind me, I would have had him explain to me how this little bag of sheets (which were totally machine washable) could have possibly come to $107. $40 would have been high. $80, unreasonable. But $107 says we won't be back. Ever. read more

you cant find another cleaners that has a professional seamstress for the price of the alterations. the cleaning here is also perfect. ive never encountered any issues and i always get my clothes back whenever i need. they are very good at accomodating to your needs. read more
