Okay, I have very mixed feelings about this company. My first experience with them was nothing short of amazing. The movers were so kind, patient, friendly, professional, and fast and took great care with my furnishings. BUT when I tried to book again, I was not treated very well at all. Then I was called and offered a fix on I imagine my next move which I appreciated the offer. I was told the guys who did such an amazing job with my first move were no longer with the company and failed to charge me correctly. I had a Groupon, and the prices were listed on the Groupon, so I don't know how the movers were wrong. Now it's been almost a year, and this company is still continuing to call and harass me about changing my review update. So here it is, all I can say is the movers were great the first time. The second time the company was rude, condescending refused my business, because they said I changed my move date the first time. So, I went with a different and more affordable company who was willing to move my plants and hook-up my washer and dryer. Next Gen this is my review, so please stop calling and harassing to change my review, it's been nearly a year. I said what I said because it's how your company treated. I didn't lie; I didn't exaggerate. You literally refused to move me the second time because I had to change my move date on the first move, so why are still you harassing me about changing my review when you said you didn't want my business? I've used different movers multiple times in the past and this was by far my worst experience. I do not like leaving negative reviews but I feel obligated to share with the public. I understand the company will have many different employees so your experience may vary depending on who you get. Pros: -Showed up on time -Friendly Cons: -Multiple instances of one mover stopping to go on his cell phone, and even taking phone calls. Very unprofessional considering they are being paid by the hour. The loading process was already going slowly so this was particularly irritating. -Poor job of wrapping the furniture. The pieces they did wrap took a long time and looked like they didn't know what they were doing. All the furniture legs were left exposed. They also eventually stopped wrapping the later pieces and just put them in the truck. As a result, several items got scratched/damaged, as well as several walls inside the new property. -Did not bring any wardrobe boxes. The company advertised this as a service and we were counting on them, but they showed up with none so we were not able to move a lot of our clothing. False advertising. Ultimately we still accomplished a lot, but this was a poor experience and there is no way I would recommend these movers. I will definitely be trying someone else next time. read more

I needed help to move from a full 10x18 ft storage unit to my new house. So my friend referred me to Nextgen. Requested a quote on here and got a reply real via email quick. I had some additional questions, so I ended up start texting them directly. I like how they reply all details to me in texts, the hourly rate, what's included or not etc, it's important to have everything stated clearly. They send me a contact to sign after I confirm to book their service. They sent me a text to confirm the appt the day before. On the day of the move, they called me 30 min in advance per my request. They were on time and started the moving process right away. 2 movers very well prepared with all the moving materials, they took good care of my stuff. I'm responsible for double drive time because it was 60+ miles away. They calculated everything in details show in the invoice. Here was the breakdown: Work Time (8:47 AM - 10:16 AM), Drive Time (10:16 AM - 11:53 AM), Work Time (11:53 AM - 1:00 PM) Everything went well and smooth. The reason why I give 4 stars instead of five is because they spent (what seemed like) an hour trying to get the bed frame inside the new place, and then saw that the bed frame was ripped (which it was not previously). Yo start They were 30 minutes late, when they arrived one of the guys asked me to sign the contract and it was is Russian! When he send it to my email It was already in English. They offered me big boxes for free saying it was going to be faster I agreed because I didn't want to pay more then 4 hours it was the estimate for a one bedroom apartment and everything was ready to go .they took for ever to bring the boxes and the decides to put some cushions s inside very slow. From 10:30 to 4:30 pm 6 hours ! When they arrived to the house I asked them to hurry up because they were taking way to long, the guy started to have an attitude and he asked us to help unload if we wanted to be faster! Very rude unprofessional, I email the company ( first i called and there was no answer ) the email me back saying that they took longer because elevator was shared ( I was there building is not busy and they only have to wait a view minutes twice. That doesn't not justify the delay. My husband started helping them to make it faster. At the end the person which I was emailed told me that. Maybe they could give me a discount When they finished I had to Tell him about the discount so he called the company and taking in a foreign lenguaje for a while finally he gave me 10% discount . I used Nextgen for my move across LA a couple weeks ago and had a fantastic experience. Almas and Merei (pronounced like Murray) were friendly and gentle with all of my furniture. They were even super delicate maneuvering my new apartment's narrow walkway and sharp turns. I used this company in 2022 and they were awesome. This past July 2023, they were horrible. I had a heavy dresser which I let them know it was heavy that needed to go down the stairs. They did not wrap it properly and the wrapping came off mid stair down. The dresser dented all my walls with the paint and wall coming off. They movers initially tried to state the marks were there but you could see remnants of the wall on the floor. During the move, the workers seemed like they didn't want to be there. I would tell them furniture needs to go upstairs at our new place and they would leave it by the stairs. They tried to take my bike upstairs without wrapping it increasing the risk for wall dents again. I asked for reimbursement for the wall they damaged at my families home. They would only provide their own handy man who didn't speak English. He didn't properly fix the wall and didn't come back. The young worker who spoke English that was help translating states he got fired but was told to help with my wall. The whole thing was so bizarre. They didn't speak English and I'm stuck with a 800 dollar bill to fix our wall. DO NOT BOOK this company read more
