I have always come here since over 15 years! There's a new owner I was told that took over since maybe 4 years or so? So I decided to go back just to try again. The food 15 years ago with another owner was good too. This time, trying out their Mongolian beef was very good. I was at first skeptical bc in the past, the meat with the previous owner was not tender and too thick to eat. But wow! The beef is so tender and nicely sliced! I order their salt and pepper chicken wings and very good portion and taste! So crispy! I like how it doesn't have the typical old oil smell that I had with the previous owner. I spoke to Linh the owner and she's so kind. Honest and kept her word on her food quality. I can't wait to come again and try more beef options! I had a taste for a Chinese combo plate, so I tried the New Jade China. After looking over the menu and its selection of combos ,I decided on the # 3. To say it was fresh from the freezer is putting it lightly. The 2 pieces of battened chicken weren't even golden brown. They were more of a blonde color, yet cooked . The "sweet and sour" pork had no pineapple and was more like dry battered pork chunks tossed in a thin sweet and sour glaze. The stir fried rice and chickenless chow mien was bland. I used to love coming to this place when I was younger. Back then it felt like such a great deal. You could get a stuffed combo plate and a drink for around $8 and it was totally worth it. Over the years the prices have gone up and unfortunately the quality has gone down. It just doesn't feel like the same value anymore and the food doesn't hit the way it used to. The mixed vegetable plate was good too, vegetables were crisp and not rubbery like some other places. The egg rolls tasted very cheap, with hardly any filling. New Jade China is a staple in my household for their quality, service, and overall tribute to Chinese cuisine. I usually get salt and pepper fried chicken wings, fried rice, peking spare ribs, and cream cheese rangoons. For a birthday party earlier this year, I ordered party trays of the cream cheese rangoons and salt and pepper fried chicken wings. In about an hour, the food was ready for pick up so I was really impressed by their quick service. These items, the well seasoned wings and cream cheese filled rangoons, turned out to be a crowd favorite at the party! Guests were asking where it's from so of course I had to credit New Jade China. New Jade China has something for everybody with both unique and traditional flavors that we are familiar with. The restaurant has a casual and cozy atmosphere. Finally had the chance to come back to the restaurant after a long time. Came here for lunch with my dad and we both ordered the #6 plate. The #6 plate consists of chicken Chow Mein, Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and an Egg Roll. The portions were big! This was enough for 2-3 meals. Everything tasted great and the meal was prepared quite quickly. They typically aren't too busy or crowded, but they are still a popular Chinese Restaurant. I will be going back soon. read more

This little gem is a small kitchen with 5 tables, 4 seats each, if you decide to come eat here for lunch. The cashier at the time I visited was very sweet and brought out my take out to me when it was ready. While waiting, I was studying their menu. I would drive across town to the berryessa location and was extremely happy to find out there was one near me. I started ordering here and loved the food. Taste and quality isn't my issue. Last night I had my son pick up my order of fried rice, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, and tempura shrimp. The Mongolian beef was just a massive amount of onions and peppers, literally 4 pieces of beef that I had to dig to find and the shrimp was over cooked and very tough to chew, I gave up. I've never had an issue with the food before so this was a huge let down. I hope they see this and fix it because I will give another try. Hoping this was just an off day. read more

It was an abundance of food for only $12. That to me honestly is a steal. They even have 3 combo items for 10.95. It's not flashy or trying too hard, and I really appreciate that. Every time I go the staff greets with a smile, and even if they're busy they try to check in or keep things moving without making you feel rushed. Food wise, it's consistently good. I've tried different items each time and haven't been let down yet. One dish this time had a real homey taste to it, like something someone's grandma might make.
