Pho Tai (no onions nor cilantro).
    Tram N.

My first meal out since the 49th day has passed. I've been eating a vegetarian diet for 50 days to help my uncle in his afterlife. I knew I wanted pho, but it was an added bonus to have not just Gavin but my nephew, too. It was my first time taking him out. We ordered 2 Pho Dac Biet and a small Pho Tai w/o onions and cilantro. I asked for a small bowl and scissors. The restaurant was clean, service was quick, and nice. My only complaint was having to use disposable wooden chopsticks. Other than that the broth was flavorful. I appreciated the generous amounts of tripe and tendon. I'm glad there is another pho place in South San Jose.

Excellent! The ambiance is relaxing as if at home, service is quick and the food is outstanding.

3.5/5. The vegan pho broth was just a veggie bouillon - didn't have any of the traditional Vietnamese aromatics. Pho was piping hot, good quantity of veggies and tofu. Service was quick, you go pay at the register. Glad for vegan options, wish they made the broth with the spices as they do for the beef phos.

Came here for lunch on a cold but busy day, place was packed but service was fast, prompt and friendly. Ordered the #1 combo which only comes in Large but a good portion size of variety of the meats. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong a flavorful, packing a nice punch to wake you up. The store is a bit small so try coming a bit early for lunch as it does get packed or you will need to wait a bit.

Wow -- I can't believe it took me this long to dine in at Pho Teresa! I've only ever stopped by for coffee and smoothies to-go (which are amazing, by the way), but sitting down for a meal here was a game-changer. The place is spotless, the family that runs it is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the service makes you feel right at home. I especially love that the young son works there with his parents -assuming this. I ordered Shaking Cubed Marinated Filet Mignon Beef with Tomato Rice plate -- the beef was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. The red rice was packed with flavor, and the sautéed veggies? Chef's kiss! Everything was fresh, balanced, and satisfying, and soooo filling. Between the hospitality, the mouthwatering food, and the cozy, clean setting, it's definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation. If you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out!

Family owned Pho restaurant that has great service and food. Got the steak rice plate and my wife got some Pho. Both were delicious and the service was fast. Their veggies are fresh and the steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Definitely come here if you want authentic food.

I came to Pho Theresa for lunch with my coworkers today and I gotta say, we were extremely satisfied. I ordered a small bowl of the fatty beef pho. The large size was a dollar more but the small portion size was perfect and filling! I can only imagine what the large size would be like! The service was quick and we got in right in time before the lunch rush. I will most definitely be back to try their large bowls of pho on my day off so I can take a nap after ^_^

Classic pho restaurant with squeeze bottle sauces and a holder at each table for sauce trays and utensils. Great: Tamarind Wings - first of all, the wings are HUGE. Big hulking anabolic chickens they get these from. After deep frying they're briefly stir fried with some fragrant vegetables and mixed with a sweet and tangy tamarind sauce. Really worth the price! Good: Combination Pho #2: I honestly feel like most pho tastes pretty similar. This one is solid, but there's nothing that particular elevates it in my eye above the competition. The meats were good quality and tendons were nice and soft. Service is quick and efficient. Love a classic pho restaurant. I'd say this place is just a tad on the pricier side but I think it's worth the journey. I do prefer reusable utensils rather than all disposable which they have here for the chopsticks and sauce trays, but super minor.

I ordered the pho bo vien and if anyone knows this order, most restaurants usually skimp on the beef balls... Thank goodness not pho Theresa! The right amount and then some and the pho itself is flavorful. Love this place

So far so great! My first viet restaurant since I moved to San Jose, and I have to say I was very satisfied! I was living in the Napa/vallejo area for so long, I didn't know what was out there, and I was told by many that San Jose has the best viet food in the bay! They weren't kidding! The portion was great and it was better than anything I had in a long while! The service was quick and accommodating. The place was very clean and plenty of parking! I'll be back as a regular!

I have been waiting for a good Pho spot in my area for sometime now. The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was very good and attentive. The Pho was really good. I loved the broth and everything tasted fresh. This really hit the spot. I love all the options they had for you right at the table with hoisin sauce, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, chili crisp etc. The Spring rolls were excellent and really refreshing. I ate two and took the rest home. I appreciate they gave me a container to take the peanut sauce home as well. Lots of Vietnamese restaurants forget that all the time. I am definitely coming back here soon!

The wagyu and chicken soup were both outstanding -- flavorful, hearty, and healthy. Here's the part that took it over the top for me: they had accidentally forgotten our fried tofu. It is straightforward with a good mix of udon, rice dishes, small bites, and drinks, which I really appreciated. The food felt delicate but still had layers of flavor. Nothing was heavy or overdone. The rice was one of my favorite parts. It was crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly inside, which made it so satisfying. The chicken karaage was also really good. Crispy, tender, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you order karaage. The only thing I would probably skip next time is the mixed sake drinks. They are fruity and fun, but they tasted like they were made with sugary syrup. So if you do not want a sugar bomb or you are watching sugar calories, I would stay away from those. The inside has a cozy feel that reminded me a little of something you would find in Japan, but with a bit of an American touch. It felt clean, casual, and comfortable. Thank you to my bro and his fam for treating us out to some Mother's Day noods!!!…read more My bro and his family are massive fans of Kali Noodles + Tea Bar. Even with them moving out to the East Bay, they make periodic drives just to enjoy what KN has to offer. I've had one dining experience here previously and was not impressed. This lead to not returning. Fast forward 2.5 years or so, here I was again. Our large party of 9 arrived at opening hours and the owners were so very welcoming. The restaurant was clean and the condiments were in tip top shape. Our family's order was massive. We started the meal with xiu mai [Vietnamese pork meat balls] and Chinese donut sticks. This then continued with mi do bien, filet mignon and beef ball pho, & a variety of nam vang noodle versions. The great thing about Kali Noodles are the multiple options of noodles they provide. There are a number of combinations that could be made with the 6 offerings. The food was surprisingly really good- so much better than what my first visit was. The bowls were presented neatly but plated in a way where the large chunks of lettuce made the bowls seem a lot more fuller that it really was. The noodle soups also consisted a lot more broth than noodles. Having said that, the egg noodles are really really good!! The restaurant cooks them perfectly- chewy with a slight bite that keeps you wanting more and more. Hu tieu dai was unfortunately too mushy in texture for my liking. 4 stars overall. Customer service from the owners were exceptional. They were attentive to each person's order and were so welcoming. The food was good but maximize the deliciousness by strictly going for the thin egg noodles. You will not be disappointed and this recommendation is coming from a person who typically steers clear of this. I'd happily return.
