Wonton Rice Noodle Soup
Megan P.

I'm a regular here, me and my mom come frequently and I really recommend this place to anyone in the area. I personally love the wonton rice noodle soup, their chicken veggie rice stirfry is a favorite of my whole family, their eggrolls are as well. During summer their fresh lemon soda is nice and refreshing but not overly sweet and sugary. We usually walk in and find ourselves a seat right away, once they take our orders we never have to wait long, everything always comes out right away steaming hot and fresh. Definitely worth a stop if you're craving some pho!

Came here for dinner cause my wife likes their Pho. The service was good and the food came out fast. They had the best playlist going while we ate. I got the beef vermicelli and it was delicious. The noodles were perfect and all the veggies were fresh. The beef was tasty and the portions were more than enough. Great place to catch some authentic Vietnamese food.

Food: Had the #1 and #28. The meat was so tender for #1, especially the tendon. Service: Was quick, and they were also nice to give extra onions--that came with a bunch of herbs-- when we had asked. Ambiance: Very open, spacious and clean. A good location with a lot of parking spaces.

4.5! I LOVED the chicken banh mi, and the pho was very good! I would love to try other items on the menu! The service is crazy fast and they're super friendly!

Our favorite mid week pho spot. When the weeks gotten crazy or we just don't feel like cooking, this place has solid options for our family. Seafood pho, short ribs and rice, it's all good!

My go to pho spot in South Bay. Good portions and good flavor. Food comes out quickly.

We got the fried egg rolls, chicken pho, and steak pho. All were pretty good! The service was okay, and it took quite a while for us to get our food. It was somewhat loud as a kids movie was playing, but we had an overall decent experience.

This is our go-to place for pho. Best egg rolls by far and a beef broth that'll make you cry. We're regulars. Our favs are the rare steak pho, egg rolls, spring rolls and the vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. Really, you can't miss. Bo bun hue was yummy, too

We stopped by on a Saturday morning before we went to the beach. We were actually quite starving and couldn't wait to eat. There were not that many people in the restaurant at first, but they quickly filled up with diners along with customers picking up food from mobile or takeaway orders. It didn't very long for our order to be taken, but it did take a minute for our food to come out of the kitchen. It was quite understandable because their food traffic started to pick up with a lot of people coming in to dine. Both my friend and I ordered the BBQ boneless chicken with rice. It was so delicious, we didn't have any leftovers. The chicken was perfectly tender and savory. The sides perfectly complemented the meal and the soup they give you initially was also really delicious. Portions are filling, and prices are very fair. They have a very family-friendly atmosphere and plenty of booths and tables and chairs that can accommodate larger groups. I would definitely come back again to try other dishes on the menu when I'm back in the area.

#1 Pho is good. Broth is tasty. Only one size, no extra large but you can always order extra noodles on the side for additional cost $2 more Egg rolls/springrolls available $7 per dish which comes with 4 rolls and peanut sauce Service was efficient Dinner crowd comes at 6pm weekend but still plenty of seats for all. No wait Free parking lot, plenty of spots

Grilled beef over vermicelli

Delicious grilled beef over vermicelli. The beef was tender and flavorful. Loved the veggies, noodles, and fish oil. Spring rolls were fresh and yummy. They came with a large container of peanut sauce, which was wonderful. Next time I want to try the pho.

The food here is very delicious. The broth itself along with the meats were tasty and the meat was tender. Honestly one of my fav pho places so far. 10/10 I highly recommend this place. I tried their combination pho, well worth to try all their meats: the fried egg rolls were good too! Service here is quick and friendly. I love the service. Ambiance? When we came it wasn't crowded and the temp in here is nice especially for a place that sells pho. Give this place a try.

Jeff, the chef (rhymes!), was kind and welcoming. He could tell it was our first time and went out of his way to check in, give advice on what to order, and how to enjoy it. The wagyu and chicken soup were both outstanding -- flavorful, hearty, and healthy. Here's the part that took it over the top for me: they had accidentally forgotten our fried tofu. I happened to be nearby this morning and stopped in, fully expecting them to ask for proof of purchase or be resistant. Instead, they just handed it to me. No questions. That's top-notch customer service. I'm now a promoter and will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Staff are friendly, spot is pretty small but kid-friendly and self-serve utensil tables. The Wagyu Soup Noodle bowl was super bland. So much so that my partner had to add a ton of chili sauce, and I had to add other seasoning toppings. Would be open to trying the beef noodle soup next time but the Waygu soup bowl wasn't it. Pig ears were pretty good but sliced super thin.. thinner than the onions..

I think this spot is way cleaner and tastes better though. Every few weeks I would come here to get a sizzling steak plate to satisfy my cravings. My partner usually tries something different. They have curry rice and beef stew rice as well. Both pretty good. Personally they're too plain for me. A no thrills Korean restaurant specializing in their black bean sauce rice/noodles. We ordered: Fried Dumplings - minced pork and vegetables dumplings deep fried to perfection. The omelette was done right, not dry, but the black bean jajang sauce was really what made the dish. Beef Jjamppong - noodle soup with beef slices and mixed vegetables. The Nam Vang came with sliced pork, ground pork, and one prawn in a clean, savory broth--light but flavorful. The filet mignon pho was a solid upgrade: tender beef, silky noodles, and a broth that leaned richer but still easy to sip. Noodles had a nice bounce in both bowls. I was craving a vermicelli bowl or bánh mì too, but heads up--they only serve pho and noodle soups here. No rice plates or sandwiches. Thank you to my bro and his fam for treating us out to some Mother's Day noods!!!…read more My bro and his family are massive fans of Kali Noodles + Tea Bar. Even with them moving out to the East Bay, they make periodic drives just to enjoy what KN has to offer. I've had one dining experience here previously and was not impressed. This lead to not returning. Fast forward 2.5 years or so, here I was again. Our large party of 9 arrived at opening hours and the owners were so very welcoming. The restaurant was clean and the condiments were in tip top shape. Our family's order was massive. We started the meal with xiu mai [Vietnamese pork meat balls] and Chinese donut sticks. This then continued with mi do bien, filet mignon and beef ball pho, & a variety of nam vang noodle versions. The great thing about Kali Noodles are the multiple options of noodles they provide. There are a number of combinations that could be made with the 6 offerings. The food was surprisingly really good- so much better than what my first visit was. The bowls were presented neatly but plated in a way where the large chunks of lettuce made the bowls seem a lot more fuller that it really was. The noodle soups also consisted a lot more broth than noodles. Having said that, the egg noodles are really really good!! The restaurant cooks them perfectly- chewy with a slight bite that keeps you wanting more and more. Hu tieu dai was unfortunately too mushy in texture for my liking. 4 stars overall. Customer service from the owners were exceptional. They were attentive to each person's order and were so welcoming. The food was good but maximize the deliciousness by strictly going for the thin egg noodles. You will not be disappointed and this recommendation is coming from a person who typically steers clear of this. I'd happily return.
