My experience was horrible! I went before Christmas to get a gelX refill because my regular nail salon was busy, that was the worst decision of my life! I didn't like my nails at all! I kept telling the lady I didn't like my nails and wanted her to make changes but she didn't understand me. It was a painful fill too! I never experienced pain while getting a fill. My daughter also went for a regular kids nail polish and she burned my daughter's nail with the gel. I had asked for a simple unicorn design and she didn't understand. She was offering stickers instead and I would tell her no but still added some. I used Zelle to pay and one of the ladies didn't let me leave until she verified that I paid, she called the David guy who I zelled the money to and I couldn't leave. I have been going to nails unlimited since I was in high school! It's been ten years, I've moved out of town but when I am in town, I always go here! David and Kelly are the owners and have always been so nice and personable. After so many years, I can still call up David and he'll know who I am and always squeezes me in last minute! This is the only place around that has an airbrush machine! I always get David to do airbrush ombré nails andalways get compliments on them. You can't get these type of nails anywhere else! The service is terrible!!! I suggest calling before heading there asking how long the wait is or go when it opens. They take 2 hours just to sit you down. On top of that the owners are trying to go as fast they can half fasting their work. If you get wax please be careful or don't even bother she never changes the stick. Don't get me wrong they do a great job (sometimes) but you can tell that place is dirty and not cleaning the tools for pedis/manis! I'm surprised they have got shut down. I suggest paying in cash their system is sometimes down and will say it got decline but it went thru on your phone and they will make try again, getting charge double. Were in 2024 hello ?? I am on antibiotics for a foot/toe nails fungus I acquired while getting a gel pedicure at this location. ALL of my toes are yellow which I found out is a toenail fungus and I have dry blood cuts between one of my toes from an infection I got from the salon. They're one of the few places that are open during the pandemic! Service is great and easy to work with. I recommend you call ahead thought to avoid the long wait times as everyone goes here to do nails as the other places aren't allowed to open yet. They don't take appointments unfortunately but they do ask for an estimate of what time you would like to arrive at and try to work around that schedule for you which is the next best thing. read more

Went in with my mom and sister for 2 pedicures and a full set, we were seated almost immediately which was a surprise since we came in around noon on a Saturday. I got a gel pedicure and upgraded my service to get the paraffin treatment which was only 5$ extra and soooo worth it. The ladies took their time with my mom and I and were very talkative with us. i used to come here when I was younger, but stopped Bc the lady that does eyebrow waxing kept leaving them way too thin & and kept burning my eyelids w the wax. I would have scars the next day. i made the mistake of taking my Tia here for our pedicures a week ago and I regret it. their techniques like usual were horrible. Please be careful they do not follow stateboard sanitation procedures .Employees would touch people feet and then go back to another client touching the client hand with out washing their hands and use the same disposable nail files on multiple clients. This is extremely unsanitary because it can lead to someone getting an infection and having to loose a nail or antibiotics. I don't normally get my nails done as i am soo worried about the cleanliness of The employees in the salons. BUT i decided to give this place a shot. I got my nails done on wednesday and by the next day the paint has been chipped and today friday the paint raised enough to peel off. I was happy to see the employee get the nail equipment from a "clean" bin but unhappy to watch him after he was done with me only water the same tools down and pit them back in the "clean" bin. Do NOT get your eyebrows waxed here. They do a terrible job. It took me a long time to grow my eyebrows out and the lady did them in 1 minute. My eyebrows are crooked and very uneven. She didn't take her time and decided to even stop in the middle of doing her clients nails and go to me which shows that she didn't care about her client and myself. I didn't mention I was in a rush because I actually was not in a rush, so I don't know why she went to do my eyebrows. She should've done my eyebrows after finishing her clients nails first that way she didn't feel rushed to do mine eyebrows. I don't know why she decided to stop her job so she can take on another one. She did not ask how I wanted them, so I told her I wanted them and one of them is straight, thin, and pointy. This place does NOT even deserve one star. I walked in to get my eyebrows waxed. While my walk in was acknowledged by staff, I wasn't even greeted so I kindly stated I was in for a brow wax and sat down. There was approximately a total of 6 clients in total getting service (not busy/ overwhelmed) . I waited about 10 min until I asked for the wait time. I finally got my eyebrows wax, paid, and said thank you and the person just walked away. Literally SO rude. I will definitely be taking my business and money elsewhere! I don't like to post bad reviews but I just had to post this. I've been to this place in the past and it has been okay. I took my sister to get her nails done for prom. I dropped of my sister there and when they were done doing her nails I picked her up. I was aware that they would not do the nails exactly like the inspo picture but let me just tell you it was nothing like she asked for. It wasn't until we got home I payed attention to her nails and I was very upset. I payed $75 for the nails and the work she got done was just so ugly. I went back the next day to tell them if they could fix the nails or even do another design. David said he couldn't do anything about it. Maybe only clean the cuticle area since it was very messy. I asked him several times to just remove the design and do a regular French nail but he said he had to charge me again. I took my sister to another place to get them fixed and they ended up just removing the nails she just got done and doing a brand new set. The service here is always good.... even when they get busy they're usually fast enough that you don't have to wait too long. I've never had a bad manicure or pedicure here and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in Salinas. I may be way too paranoid, but I walked out. The manicurist started my mani by using an obviously dirty buffer on me. When I asked, "Is that clean?" she said, "Oh, you want a clean one?" Then she left. I'm not really sure what was going on, but the guy moved me to two different stations. While waiting for my manicurist to come back, I watched a different manicurist wash some nail tools in the sink, dry them, and put them in a drawer. No sterilization that I could see. I freaked. I realized that even if I DIDN'T catch some horrible nail fungus or infection, I would not enjoy myself. And for 50 bucks, I want to enjoy myself. This place was recommended to me by a coworker whose nails I'd admired, but my instincts told me to run. Everything seemed a bit grimy, messy and disorganized. I am admittedly a germophobe, but I'd rather do my own nails or pay more for cleanliness. On the other hand, the place seemed busy and popular, so YMMV. read more
