First of all, I want to clarify one thing: the majority of the negative reviews you see here are about the pharmacy, and honestly, they are completely justified. However, I want to talk about the front store because, for the first time in a couple of years, I actually felt like taking the time to leave a review. I had a bad experience here several years ago and didn't really want to come back. But I went in last week, and something had changed. There was a new employee.... a very kind, Tall....beautiful, patient, and respectful young woman who treated me with genuine kindness. I also noticed the way she interacted with other customers, especially the elderly. She was incredibly patient and respectful with them, which really stood out to me. She was smiling the entire time and made the store feel much more welcoming. What really caught my attention was that she asked me how I was doing and whether I had found everything I needed. Those little things made a big difference because it showed that she genuinely cared about the customer experience. That's why I wanted to take the time to leave this review. I really hope they continue hiring more people like her. I just wanted to recognize her kindness, patience, professionalism, and positive attitude. The cashier, his name tag said Mark, was on his phone the whole time we payed. He asked us if we wanted a bag then forgot to give it to us and completed the whole interaction without listing his eyes off his phone. Came here for my COVID-19 vaccine a few months ago. It is your standard Walgreens stocked with the usual items. I remember having to wait a long time for my first vaccine, but the pharmacist was very friendly and answered my medical questions. The second vaccine trip went fine, but we did not go into the room with the green +, and instead lined up around the greeting card area (weird). As for the items, they usually have a clearance section if thrift is your thing. At the time I was searching for some of the Cadbury eggs. I found some, and the small eggs too... but they turned out to be dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Guess customers went crazy for the latter! read more

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would! My mom gets her medication here she changed from Walmart because her insurance won't cover over there it's the only reason we are even at this dump. They call and say my mother's prescriptions are ready and they have nothing ready say it will all be ready at 1 pm we come back the next day and they have 1 only !! An entire 24 hours later they have 1 ready we come back again two days later only because they said they would call when it was ready which they NEVER did. I went in to Walgreens a few days ago first time using Online digital coupons and let me tell you there was a Mexican lady I didn't know her name had great customer service. I wasn't sure if I entered my number or scan the card she helped me threw the process. Other employees saw me wondering around they asked me for help I thought that was nice, I just didn't know where things were so I walked around to see, got things I needed. Second time I went in a young girl help me and allowed me to do two transactions which was also nice. No one respects the online pickup parking spots. Now I complained I feel like a big old Karen. Your store needs more handicap parking, I realized after I was complaining I was talking to a handicap man using the online pickup parking space. I feel like such a jerk. Maybe you could move the pickup order parking signs to a different location or just take them down. I have never seen anyone else use them for their intended use. This Walgreens is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have only been going there a few months and every time my prescription is refilled late, causing lapses in my daily maintenance medication. The pharmacy is utter chaos with techs scrambling around to find rxs in different locations. Their automated refill system is a joke and delays refills. I call 5 days ahead for a refill to circumvent the inefficiency and incompetence, and they still can't seem to get it done right and on time. They don't deserve one star. They should be shut down. She didn't acknowledge us but made eye contact then turned away. I know she was on the phone but a glance or some gesture would have been nice customer service. I don't understand why it takes days to get my pictures!! My old Walgreen's had it done in an hour. The people behind the counter are rude and act like working is an inconvenience. We went a few weeks back as well to get my 8×10 pictures, i held them in my hand when we were told to put them back because the store was in fear of riots. They couldn't close the store and ring up the only 3 people in there. I was so angry. To add insult to injury, they had to reprint photos because they lost them. Horrendously poor service. I'll be going back to my old store in San Jose, they have their act together and they are nice people to talk to. read more

This pharmacy is the ABSOLUTE WORST! Their "automated" system says your medicine will be ready at a certain time but it almost never is ready when the system says it will be. If there is any problem getting your prescription filled, like needing to contact the doctor for a reauthorization, the system just drops your request for your medication resulting in days of not having your medication while you try to get them to call your doctor. When I've complained about their system saying medication will be ready but it's not, I was told, "ya, a lot of people complain about our system being inaccurate." Also, if there's any problems, the staff does not offer any problem solving. It's up to you to figure out what the problem is. And it doesn't matter when you go, you will be waiting in line a minimum of 20 minutes, so bring a book! read more

If you are dropping off a prescription, the pharmacy opens at 9 on Saturdays. Also, don't go to the drop off window because they don't use it. You drop off and pick up at the pick up window. After already waiting an hour, I got to stand at the end of a long line just to drop off my prescription. read more

Lacks customer service, & poor time management. Came in to fill a prescription, tried to explain to the women at the desk that I needed to get some info regarding my prescription. What's the co-pay, what is covered by my insurance, basically generally info. Instead of helping or trying to listen she just went auto pilot & attempted to fill my script, absolutely disregarding any & all my concerns. This would be a negative star if possible, but since the next woman that attempted to help (answered my general inquiry) me decided that her lunch break was more important by stating, "we would have to call the MD... We are going on lunch... We won't be able to help you for another few hrs." The way it came of was, your going to take too much time to help that it will impede into my lunch hour. She didn't bother to offer to at least get the process started. Mind you I was already being "helped" for 10min prior the other woman attempted to "help" me. Sooo that whole time I wasted because the first woman obviously did not know what she was going. Approximate time wasted: 25min. Considering this is primarily a pharmacy, expect to WAIT. Needlessly unorganized and chaotic; the pharmacist I personally dealt with I couldn't even understand what she was telling me. I did understand ONE part of her rambling which was, it will be five hours. Arriving at 10 AM with prescription in hand you'd expect kind and curious service, as they exclaim in their commercial: "On the corner of happy and healthy!". Well I wasn't feeling either. The pharmacy tech was rude and blunt, but you shouldn't expect that with the whole pharmacy staff. I gave another star for if you are here for anything else besides medication, you get kind and somewhat quick service. Also this pharmacy carries certain medications that are uncommon in most pharmacies, including other Walgreens. Avoid at all costs if you can, but if you have to come here... I simply went to take a Passport Photo, and although it was pretty busy at the time, service was surprisingly fast and smooth. The individual attending me was quite kind and friendly. The pharmacy staff here is very rude and incompetent. It is taking them 5 days to get my workers Comp medication sorted. The staff either lied to me or are just incompetent. Even the manager who I spoke to gave me either a lie or just hadn't done her job. I called to complain that another staff member pharmacist had stepped away from me and said they couldn't talk to me. She refused to call the number from my work. That was yesterday. Then today when I spoke with the manager she didn't know my perscription was already authorized. My work hR had to call her and then they told my work the medicine was covered and they had the info they needed so I could get it. I am still waiting to get my meds though since they only filled 1 so far. They told my work it would be ready in an hour so I called to check. Now the pharmacy is telling me another hour. Either they are short staffed or the staff is incompetent/ rude/ lazy. I will never be getting a prescription from Walgreens again. This was my first and only time. Don't bother going to this pharmacy. Their wait time seems to be always an hour I heard them say this to another customer as well. That is horrible! Way too long. On 3/12/19 my mom pick up her medications she had a horrible experience with some one new in the pharmacy department. She didn't hear what he said and told her that he didn't like to repeat himself. Always get my photos done here. The main photo lady is great. A lot of times when I new photos faster than one hour I will call in after placing order online and ask for it sooner. They always come through for me even during the busy holiday season when the big box stores are backed up for hours, if not days. I take one star off because sometimes they don't always have someone at the photo counter and sometimes I have to wait while a clerk pages someone to come help me when they could just come over and get the photos for me. This is continuously the worst Walgreens Pharmacy I've ever been to. If you submit a refill on the app they always screw the quantity up. From here they'll tell you it's ready when it isn't. Furthermore they never answer their phone and constantly hang up. The worst part is they grill you about your medication every time. I mean come on, if someone is prescribed recurring medication that's refilled from their system there's no need for this game. Every other Walgreens I've been to doesn't do this. This pharmacy is literally the best. I know the lines are definitely long, but the customer service you get is well worth it. They are extremely knowledgeable and nice!! LOVE being able to manage my precriptions (and family members') right from the app! Its extrememly convenient!! Have been trying to refill my prescriptions for a week with no results. Long wait times and it is becoming frustrating and a threat to my health. I have been using walgreens for many years and am new to this store. I have had no problems with any other locations. They are Incompetent ... Today I talked with my clinic as well as MediCal , and it was determined that the pharmacy was at fault. I filed formal complaints with MediCal and Walgreens corporate offices. All I wanted was my medication but all I received from this store was a run around and finger pointing blaming my clinic. BEWARE THIS PLACE CAN BE A THREAT TO YOUR HEALTH ! When I first started coming here for the pharmacy it was honestly horrible. But they have made a lot of improvements so I am giving a 3-star review. Still could be better. They also make a good effort to double-check against prescription drug abuse which has plagued our community. Although it can be a hassle for those who legitimately need those medications and causes them some backlash, it is also appreciated. This if for the pharmacy. They always have long lines. They call or text you to cal in an no one can tell you why? Most importantly are their minimum hours. Sundays they're only open for a small amount of time and they STILL shut down for an hour so you have to stand in an even longer line after 1:30 on a Sunday because they also close early. No one answers the phone to even tell you they are closed.
