I wanted to get nails done for a special occasion so I went ahead and booked an appointment ahead of time. Nancy took care of my nails-- She did a great job and was very gentle throughout the entire time. She helped me pick this shade of pink as I'm always very indecisive (ladies, you know how it's like) and she even added glitter on top. I absolutely loved it! The whole store was very covid-19 friendly and all employees had on their mask. Overall, I had a great experience and I would come back. read more

This is my second time ever doing a full set of nails for myself. They came out great. I did not have an appointment, and they attended me right away. Ken did my nails and they're beautiful. He's a nice guy, worked quickly and accurately. he made sure my nails were all straight and proportionate. It took about 45 minutes to an hour for my nails and it was $32 for my full set. Will be coming again read more

Walked in didn't know what to expect. Was a little afraid because some of you had some pretty bad experiences but ehhhh it's just nails...I could always fix them. I was in Long Beach working...flew in from Vegas. Got to say...everywhere I goin California is a bargain compared to Vegas, I have no idea why but I'm always happy to get my nails done around here. A guy did my acrylic fill and I guess there was some special on the pedicures so I had a gel pedi but like a few levels above the deluxe. I was ecstatic at the choices of glitter and different effects, cats eye..hologram, rock star, fairy dust--he tells me that they are constantly keeping up with the latest trends through Instagram and tells me I should do the fairy dust. He shaped my nails the best...I have hated the shape for a few months it's just looked wide or something but he nailed it. I left with beautiful nails...fairy dusted at s fabulous price, so quit whining....Vegas is $50 more for the same thing and less sparkle. read more

I started coming to this nail shop 2 years ago when I first moved to Long Beach and have continued to return ever since. If you're looking for self care that is affordable and great quality you need to come to this nail salon! Ivy is so skilled at what she does and never rushes or is pushy to make you get something you don't like or want like I've seen from other nail salons. No here you will be treated like family more than a customer and everything is very upfront for you from the get go. I love this nail shop and would recommend for anyone to come and get their nails looking right! read more

...BEWARE OF TUESDAYS... Or any day that Ivy herself isn't there. I was helped by a man then quickly got changed to Wendy. My nails were so uneven but what am I supposed to do grab the tool myself to show her proper shaping? - I thought well maybe she'll work it out with the polish. Nope. Goopy, bubbles and uneven gel where you can see other color that Wendy didn't properly take off my nails in the first place. Pedicure was so great - nice polish and massage I came back the next day with an appointment with Ivy to try to explain the situation and get a color change and reshaping - didn't happen - and I got charged on top of it. Michael received a huge tip on top of that because he fixed a disaster. Very disappointed because Ivy is phenomenal. This salon lacks customer service when Ivy is away Kenny is great. Michael is great (and is the one who made my nails actually decent) This salon is a great Long Beach find. Too bad. read more

Terrible. My cousin recommended this shop to me, so I decided to go there. So once I got there, there was no greetings and I had to wait for at least 30-40 min till they assigned me to a station. So I had a tech guy do my nails and I thought he was doing a good job. He shaped the fake nails the way I wanted but once he started applying the acrylic powder, he just rushed. Then once he was done, he started filing my nails and started filing the side of my nails so hard n fast to the point he cut the side of my nail. But look at the pics. I'm very disappointed. -bad service -terrible job read more

I actually went with my sister and left traumatized after the owner ivy beat/punched her child in front of all of the ladies getting their nails done. Ivy literally punched her daughter two different times for dropping her water..... Not sure if the other lady involved did something for the little girl to drop the Boba cup on purpose or not but man ivy's actions were horrific! We all were very very uncomfortable.... can't imagine how she treats her daughter at home but I wish I could've recorded to send her to child services. We stayed because she had already started on my sisters nails but whoa! Never again are we going back!!! read more

Do not go when they're about to close!! I went twice because I believe in second chances and I was banking on getting a new nail tech, which I did. Both visits were an hour or so before they closed. They are much less willing to fix issues with costumer satisfaction at the end of their day. I got the French tip ombré dip nails. The first time my nails were too thick, the white went almost half way down my nail, and my cuticles weren't pushed back at all. The second time I stated I didn't like how thick they were, or how much white was used the last time I got them done and I think that statement was forgotten because when I sat down she asked if I wanted it "higher". Assuming she heard my comment about too much white, I said "yes, higher". Well miscommunication occurred and again the white was halfway down my nail. The tech had a slight attitude due to the miscommunication and tried to fix it, but I still left unsatisfied. Really wish I had a better experience. read more

By far the best nail salon to go to. Wonderful costumer service and talented women and men. Trust, you will leave more then satisfied!!

30 minutes wait to get in a chair. No problem because everyone was working. Offered either red wine or sweet green tea to drink once I was seated. My person was a bit sharp and not very interactive with me at first. I asked a few questions and I was answered in a quick short way. The foot tubs were only washed with water and I didn't see any disinfectant used. I had my feet in plain water. The pedicure was actually done very well!!! Near the end I heard the workers asking for tips in cash instead of credit card. I feel that workers should never ask for tips first of all. Whatever way the person wants to pay is their wish and business. The client's had their husbands and children in the shop also. Babies crying and kids walking through the shop. My manicure was done by another individual who was a bit nicer. My manicure was done well also. The work is great but the professionalism could use a boost. A mani-pedi combo basic was $25. I may return read more

Thank you so much, Ivy. First time at Nails U Love. I'm going back!!! Just what I wanted. T. Lowered stars because did not respect my appointment time Update: I know it's the holidays, but...I had an appointment. Sadly, way over booked. Or maybe not. Maybe it's first come first served. Ivy (acrylic powder full set) and Tina did an amazing job on my fill and deluxe gel pedicure. Ivy gave me a full set a month before I was able to come back for a fill and girl, they were in perfect condition I had an appointment at 5pm and was out of there within an hour. Prices are more than reasonable and they took a lot of safety precautions prior to working on me. Ivy gets booked up pretty quickly so I would suggest booking in advance!! Def have recommended these two to my friends and will certainly be back for my next fill/set :) Tips: cash only, gel pedicure only and parking lot is a little small but it never gets too full. read more

I'm not sure where to start. This is the most disorganized, frustrating nail shop I've ever been to. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was off. We waited for 30 minutes but, that wasnt so bad. What caught our attention was the unsanitariness of the place. They did not use any liners nor did they sanitize the foot bowl. It was also chaotic with kids running about and crying. My partner said that his technician was rude to him. Everything felt awkward. I was offered a glass of wine. Not even 3 sips in, the nail technician knocked it to the floor. She was not even my nail technician. She didnt apologize nor offer me another glass. She didnt even clean up the mess! Instead she did nothing, causing my technician to have to stop and clean it up. After my arms were exfoliated, she rinsed my arms with the head from the foot bowl. Water was splashing everywhere and got all over my clothes. I was so put off by everything, that I didnt even notice that they put the wrong polish on my nails! Not to mention, they kept trying to push more services on me after several firm no's. They refuse to take a tip through your credit card, and pretty much demanded a tip. It was pretty bad. I came here based on a referral from a friend, but it was just bad all the way around. I cant remember the names, but of one of my technicians and her name was Wendy. She did my gel nails. She was just alight. No personality. I brought my partner here as a birthday gift. Totally embarrassed about the service. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the nails came out pretty good. But. Still, not enough to come back. read more

I've been looking for a good nail shop for years now. I was going to one for 5 years but every time I wanted a new design or certain colors they didn't have what I wanted or they couldn't draw it. It was so frustrating trying to get them to try the designs I wanted. Nails U Love was recommended by my best friend and I'm so glad she did. What are best friends for? I started going to this nail shop about 4 months ago and I haven't stopped going since and I don't plan on stopping. I go in the morning hardly when anyone is there and KC and Ken do my nails and feet. I love the environment and the beach theme throughout the place. They added bonus, WINE not to mention the 100's of colors to choose from. I'm like a kid in the candy store looking through the color palettes. Every design I've taken to KC she's mastered. So if you're looking for excellent work KC is your girl. Thanks KC! read more

I used to come here a lot before covid because they are closer and they were super good but went back today during my lunch time because I really needed my nails done ASAP and my usual nail tech is far.
