Ok sooo I've been coming here every 2 weeks since the beginning of June 2016 thanks to a recommendation of one of my girlfriends {thanks Elizabeth!}. Since June I've had all but two of their team do my nails {gel mani, pedicure or polish change}. With that being said I *L O V E* this place. I have zero complaints. These guys are super busy so don't expect a same day appointment or to be seen as a walk in...if you really want same day expect a late afternoon appointment but trust me you WANT to schedule an appointment in in advance, these guys are amazing. Not only do they do amazing work, it's a fun nail spa, there is regular banter amongst themselves BUT they are also connecting with their clients and building relationships, bantering with them and really make it a welcome place you want to go back too. read more

I came here on Thursday February 25th for an acrylic manicure and it was the worst experience ever. First off I came to get my nails done because I was getting married 2 days later. The guy who did my nails cut 3 of my cuticles on my left hand so bad that they bled. So for my wedding and wedding pictures I had red, scabbed irritated cuticles. It was the most embarrassing thing and let alone painful. I will never go back here and paid what I did. read more

I've been to this shop a handful of times over the years. I don't live near here but manage to be in that area for one reason or another. Today I chose them because they opened at 9am. They got me right in. I had gel on and wanted gel again. The lady didn't say anything except what color did I want. I asked to see what they had. Now I've been getting my nails done for over 21 years. This was by far an experience I will not forget. The tech kept tapping, yanking, flicking at my hands to get them at different angles. Was she new?? I've never had someone do this before. I don't know but it got old very quick and I finally told her I've never had someone give this much direction during a manicure before, she didn't answer. Besides this, she was a dirty tech. Most techs use a paper towel when they remove the gel and toss the old gel color in the trash. She didn't. Most techs ask if you want your nails cut down before they cut down low. She didn't. Most techs throw away the nail clippings before they start applying new polish. She didn't. Right before she started polishing, there was some of the old gel polish sticking to my hand. I went to flick it off and she grabbed my hand and said "no". I was going to leave at that point. I wish I would have. The new gel polish took 4 coats. 3 has been my max, but I never heard of this dna brand polish, maybe that's the usual? But that's to much UV light exposure than I'd like. I don't hold the tech responsible for that. Anyways, before I was finished I was treated to my fingers getting caught in her bracelet during the hand massage. I will not go back. read more

i have been coming here for years. never have i ever had to wait this long in my life, I don't know if they think it's cause they know me well and just expect me to wait but it's wrong. I made an appointment at 2:30PM, I waited 10 minutes to get started and I asked to do a full set and gel pedicure, here i am done with my full set about an hour and a half ago still waiting to get my toes done. No sense of urgency, very disappointed, won't be leaving a tip or coming back again. also price is always different when i come in and that's also a derivative to not come back in again, not pleased with my last couple experiences and this just solidify that. read more

I am appalled by this nail salon. I am a 30 year old guy who gets pedicures regularly. I sat patiently waiting for my pedicure and received the price brochure and made my selection. I soon found out they charge extra men!! They say because we have bigger feet and they are heavier???? I know women with bigger feet than mine?? I asked to to see the price brochure for men. They did not have one. Working in retail it is illegal not honor the price points. I explained the package has polish, I don't get polish so will you take 5 dollars off for that. They replied no!! Why should guys have to pay more for a pedicure. We should be cheaper we don't normally get polish. I was very upset at this time and asked if they charge extra for pregnant woman's bloated feet. They said no! They are breaking the law by not honoring the price points as well as they prejudice against men. Again, I was appalled and left with disgust! I was ready for them to say we don't do pedicures for old ladies with gross toes! I am reporting them to the BBB! read more

I called around 4pm on NYE to check if they had an opening for pink and white set, and was able to be seen if I made it there by 4:30pm. I just moved to the area - lucky for me to be seen on short notice!!! When I sat down, they noted the condition of my nails were in such good shape. (I hadn't gotten my nails done for a LONG time). They recommended I go for the gel nail polish because it would be healthier for my nails. I never had that done before, so I figured why not go for it?! New year, try something new! I'm so glad I did because they came out beautifully. They even give a nice hand massage after completing the service, which was much needed as I type all day at work and for school. The employees are all really nice, and the clients they had there this evening seemed like regulars. They pleasantly chat with their clients and each other, and it's a relaxing atmosphere. (I'm used to the loud places I've gone to in CA, so this was awesome). I'd recommend scheduling an appointment if you're on a time crunch. Right now there are four of them, so they do get busy, but they do welcome walk-ins and try to accommodate clients. read more

First time here! A girlfriend of mine recommended Nail Spa 101 and said it was the best. Since moving to the area 2 years ago it's been a struggle to find a place that offers quality work for a great price. The salon is airy and bright too! You can tell everyone in the spa cares about their clients. I witnessed multiple conversations with regulars and you could tell they had been going to the spa for a long time. Which to me speaks volumes! Anthony did my gel mani/pedi and he was awesome. Super patient with me while I decided between two colors and such a great massage with the pedi! I've been neglecting my nails for a while because I haven't found my go to place. He reassured me he'd make nails and toes look great again! He even educated me a bit on toe nail shape and how to avoid ingrown toe nails. I've definitely found my go to nail spot! Such a relief! read more

Toes were done decently although it seemed to take longer than expected. I was in the pedi chair for about an hour. Because i was getting a shellac manicure, they assumed i already had shellac on and without checking began to file the tops of my nails. I stopped her immediately. French manicure came out horrible which is the main reason for the two stars. The last confirmed the thickness after a couple nails done and then my fault for not checking the rest before baking it on. Half my nail bed is white. Yuck. read more

Love this nail spa. I've been coming here every two weeks for the past two years on the recommendation of a friend. Pretty sure I owe her a pedi! Linda is my favorite, but they're all great. It gets busy, especially on the weekends, so make an appointment, and be a bit flexible. It's worth it! Polish always last the full two weeks (probably longer, but that's my preferred schedule) prices are competitive. Sterile tools and great bath liners, which I especially appreciate. read more

I hate to give this place 2 stars, I went in with high hopes, but was disappointed and highly dissatisfied. 1) I had a 4pm apt and wasn't helped until 4:25pm 2) the lady that started filling my nails handed me off to another nail tech half way through 3) they know they have a great location for foot traffic and treat clients like a dint a dozen, so don't expect a friendly welcome or enjoyable/relaxing service 4) Upon going to pay they ask if you have cash and offer you a lower price for the service if you are willing to pay cash... I opted for that option as it was $5 less, but did not get a receipt which seemed a bit shady. This was my 1st time coming here and I 100% won't be coming back. There are so many other places in the area with better prices and friendlier staff that I feel better about giving my money to than a place that won't even provide a receipt after awful service. read more

I've been coming here for awhile but I won't be back. Last time I went in as soon as I walked in the door two staff members asked me in front of everyone "Hey is that your real hair color?" Why ever would they need to know? And why in such a rude tone? My nail tech was also rude. Kept swatting at my fingers and complaining that I wasn't relaxed enough. Guess why? Then she'd complain about me in Vietnamese to other staff members. So much for relaxation! Also she keep trying to sell me extra services and when I told her no thanks she would humph. I try to be a good client and I tip very well but I'm done there especially since a day later one of my dipped nails came completely off. Too many other salons I can go to and get better treatment read more
