Popped in for an acrylic nail removal, Cindy was excellent - even cut and filed my natural nails down to perfection. I was in and out. Great experience! read more

Just finished a pedicure with Hang and again she did a fantastic job and I enjoyed some great convo with her.

Receptionist not friendly. My pedicure by Nancy was average and no massage or callus removal which was part of package I asked for. My mom's gel manicure was very good and Hannah was very kind to her. read more

Went here for the first time today. I found the staff to be polite and professional. I feel I got great treatment at a very reasonable price. I will be back. read more

I am using this place for decade now. They're nice owners. I have 3 favorite techs. But all of them are professional and polite. read more

This place needs a deep cleaning! There is a layer of dust caked on the light shelves near the ceiling as well as other places around the workstations. The pedicure chairs are mostly broken and just dirty. Ewww To the owners - please, please clean up. Your techs are great. read more

$38 for basic pedicure. She did it in 15 minutes with rare attention to detail. Indifference to good work or client happiness. while you are forced to see non stop ads of permanent make up on their overhead tv. Not going there again. read more

I think they just don't care and don't listen. Maybe she needs glasses. This is sloppy, unfinished work, and when I asked the manager he said she did 80%. I said, I'm paying for 100%. I won't be back. read more

Second visit. Very friendly and attentive to detail. I paid extra for pampering and add-ons.

Tina did an amazing job on my dip!!! I will be back this weekend for a pedicure. Just moved to the neighborhood and I think I found my new go to nail salon!!! read more

My friend and I had an incredible experience here last week. But I'm not talking about the manicure. As they were finishing up my nails and getting ready to close, a full-on FIGHT broke out between two of the nail technicians! They were screaming at each other and one of them threw something at the other one! My friend and I were like "Is this really happening??" I paid and left a tip anyway because she did do a good job on my nails. I'd go back again. read more

I have been going to Paulenes for many years. I am always happy when I leave and no matter who gives me the pedi or mani, they do a great job. Highly recommend. Consider making an appointment as they often are busy. read more

It's okay. I've gotten pedicures no problem but came in for my first manicure and it's just not like the picture I showed them. Might ask them to remove them because I just really don't like them overall. Pic with red dress in the background is what I got and pic with black background is what I wanted. Update!!! They did them fix so I'm very happy they took the time to fix them because I've never asked anyone to fix my nails so it was awkward for me to ask but they were nice about it. The new nails look better. You can see through the nails unfortunately....will look for another place next time for better quality read more

I have been going to this place for 20 years and everyone there is super amazing and talented! I have no idea how people could even leave a bad review for this place. This business does not care about retaining customers or making things right. So here's the story; I came in for a simple pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow wax. I have very little free time so I feel fortunate to be able to do this. I asked the guy at front desk so your technicians have time for all of the above. He said give a us a few, understandably I waited. I was shown to a nice pedicure chair and the same nail tech as before did my toe nails. As she was rushing the job I wondered what was going on, she didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted that is on the menu. She just did her own thing, Seemed like an express pedicure. At this point I'm ready for my manicure because I so badly need one. Not a chance she went over to help this other customer with the pedicure as another tech did the manicure. I kindly asked so I take it no manicure, she looked at me oh you want manicure too. I said I explained that when I arrived at salon to two different men what I needed. They told me to wait for an unknown amount of time with little communication . The original tech left to do another pedicure. I was very frustrated got up paid my bill and left a tip because she completed the pedi. I've been going here for years and I'm done. It's a shame nice place, same employees but I sure wouldn't screw over people the way they did. I'm in the serve and protect service industry and also have my own business. Make it right! Hoping other people have better experiences! read more

I've been coming to this salon for 14 yrs now, I've tried others but no one can compare to the friendly service and cleanliness of the salon. Liners are used in the pedicure tubs and their equipment seems to come out in little sterilized packets. Hannah had been doing my nails for many years. But I have to say they have a lot of great nail techs. It's the only place for me. read more

Do not go to this place! These people are extremely unprofessional, they cannot hold an appointment and they dont even apologize for it. Most of them dont speak any English but they loooove a dollar, I'll tell you that. They will start you with one price and two appointments later they will ask $20 more for the same thing. The nail technician told me flat out cold she is TOO TIRED to do the job and told me to come back tomorrow. And this was after I made my appointment a day in advance. Her name was Heidi. AC is non existent even at the end of August with Scottsdale temperatures hitting 120. Terrible place, lowlife people, stay away read more

Love this place! No matter who does your nails, it'll come out looking great. I usually go with Hannah but when she's busy (which is most of the time), Heidi (or Jenny) is a master in ombré and long acrylic nails if you're looking for that. Kenny is great with SNS and Holly is soo good with pedicures. I've been coming for 4 years and they have never failed me. Contrary to the other review, I assure you, they do not talk sh*t about you in Vietnamese. I know because i'm 1/4 Vietnamese and look caucasian and they said nothing bad about me. Mostly were just conversing with other employees. Give it a try! read more

Had the shellac gel manicure for the first time, it was great! Cindy was so sweet and friendly, she did great job! The only thing that I wasn't comfortable, they were a bit pushy. ............................................................... Updated 3/14/17, I had another manicure with Pam this time since my girl Cindy was off that day. I had my nails cleaned from the previous gel manicure (they charge extra $5) which is fine. Pam tried really hard to convinced me to have another gel manicure and I wasn't interested, but she kept bugging me ( it was annoying). Pam didn't do a good with manicuring my nails ( on the next day the nail polish peeled off already). Since I wasn't interested to get another shellac gel, she was in hurry so she can work on the next customers. Bad customer service. read more

This place is terrible. After years of giving them my business it's time to move on. Lazy lazy lazy. If you get the guy just leave he doesn't do anything. No massage nothing just a hot stone for 5 seconds then quits. If anybody has any recommendations for a great pedicure let me know. Tired of paying 100.00 + for 2 pedicures and getting nothing along with bad service. I'm done and no one even started on my daughter. Sitting here for over an hour. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE CHARGE EXTRA WITHOUT LETING YOU KNOW!!!! I had scheduled a pedicure for two and asked for the spa pedicure which is 30 minutes long ( stated on brochure) . My toe nail was chipped a little and it required powder to be out over to make square, she neglected to tell me it would cost $4 to fix one toenail. And they spent less than the 30 minutes stated in brochure. Then argued with me about the time I arrived. read more

Arrived five minutes early. Unwelcoming reception. Was seated in a pedicure chair, empty soaking tub, no communication of any about how long. When I asked, I was told five minutes. I have been gong to this salon off and in for several years. I always make an appointment with Cindy - she does an excellent job! I'm the type of person that once I have someone great I won't risk it with anyone else. I'm also fairly particular. I always get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I've had trouble with my nails breaking and peeling in the past and Cindy has helped me to get them much healthier over the last few months which is pretty impressive with gel manicures. read more

Four stars because the place was accommodating for a walk in and very professional, clean etc. My pedicure turned out beautiful. Down a star for not letting me know they only accept CASH tip. At check out I asked if I could tip on my card and they said no but if I had Venmo or zelle I could tip directly. All of a sudden no one working there had Venmo. They asked if I would walk across the parking lot to the bank to get cash to tip. Not a problem, but I do not bank at the bank provided at Safeway. Why offer to tip Venmo if you don't have it?! Unfortunately my tech only got a two dollar tip because that's all I had on me. Promised I'd be back, but after hearing it's a common dilemma with guests sounds like it's not my problem. Please accommodate your guests, not your bank roll read more

I've been coming here since 2008! Though over the years the staff has turned over, especially with COVID-19! My regular person Cindy is still there, which I just love!! Decided to give this place a try since I needed my nails done last minute before a vacation. I can't believe I paid full price for my technician, Henry, to literally watch tv on his phone the entire time. He barely touched my leg with the hot stone. He yawned the entire time. He shut off the UV light for the gel early because he was bored and wanted to be done. Maybe the other people there are better but don't go to Henry. read more

Upon reading the many reviews that Luxury Paulene's NAILS in Scottsdale, AZ before going and giving a shot at a pedicure treatment; I was assuming the service and treatment was going to be stellar! It did not turn out the way it was suppose to! I asked a gentleman about his experience at Luxury Paulene's NAILS in Scottsdale, AZ- who has been going there for 15+ years he mention the service is always great. I told him that it was my first experience and I got a cut on my feet! He was in shocked when he saw the cut and never seen that before. The technician lady said "I am sorry." Upon payment I mention to the gentleman in front handling the cashier; that I got a big cut when receiving my Pedicure treatment and the lady technician (I believe her name is Veena) didn't admit the fault instead went on by saying my callus was on the side of my cut. She never Owned up to her mistake. If she had owned up to her mistake in front of her "boss" I would have NEVER written this review. I would never recommend this Nail Salon in Scottsdale, AZ to anyone. It is best if you go places and someone referred you. read more

The BEST manicure ever!! Iam Very particular about how my nails are manicured and how they look when done. Split a nail while visiting a friend, walked-in to get it repaired, was greeted warmly, and liked the cleanliness of the salon. Hannah was my manicurist. Hannah was very nice, had a sense of humor and did an excellent job! My nails looks amazing, perfectly manicured and polished. It was THE best manicure I've had in sometime. My unusual manicurist is in Maryland where I currently live and recently been disappointed. I wish I could take Hannah back to Maryland with me!! read more

Best service! Very friendly and reasonably priced. I always get a gel manicure and pedicure. All the staff do a great job.

I came here a few days ago for the first time. I was very happy with my services. I was able to call that same day for an appt and got right in 45 min later. Everything is super high quality. Everyone is super nice. When you first walk in it seems small but once you walk around the desk it is pretty spacious and there are a lot of chairs. I love how my nails turned out and I will definitely be a regular customer for them. read more
