Son and his wife are not specialized when it comes to gel, without fail it lasts 6 days before it lifts. Son has cut my cuticles multiple times in which left them bleeding an sore for about 1.5 days after they were done.Son also watches TV on his phone in his desk as he does my nails (I have only allowed him do complete my nails twice) which I think leads to the accidental slicing of my fingers. His wife speaks zero English and it makes it difficult to communicate what I wanted (the first time) the second time I decided to show her a picture of the shape I wanted (classic Disney princess round) and she too nicked my cuticles causing them to bleed. However; the place is always clean, Son's mother and grandmother are great at pedicures and acrylics. Although I have felt the grandmother has overstepped when saying my mother needed to shave her legs more (which she cannot because she has bad eczema) no one should be made to feel bad when they go to a place to relax. read more

This is an excellent nail salon! It's always clean and sanitary. They always disinfect everything before inviting the next client back for a personable service. I was very disappointed. I had the spa pedicure with a sugar scrub. No soap or scrub put in the water for my feet to soak in. It's the day after and the polish is already fading/chipping. Got the Gelish manicure and one nail chipped 2 days later. When I called to see if I could get it fixed, I was told that I would have to pay. They said their nail techs are good and it couldn't have been them or the nail polish, rather something I did (i.e. heat chipped the nails). I was very displeased that they would say this over the phone (without asking who did my nails, my name, or looking at them). I am also displeased that they wouldn't fix a chip in the nail, as most salons I have been to will fix at no charge. They were all very nice. Not super busy when I went, on a Wednesday, but steady. I received a pedicure and manicure, both very nice. I opted to try the gel for my finger nails, I always seem to chip my nails the same day I get them done, the gel is still looking good and not chipped! Love that! Came in on a Friday afternoon to get acrylics for Air Force ball that weekend then my wedding the next. Prices were cheap, staff friendly and I loved the shape of my nails. Worked well for the ball and part of the week and by Friday they were popping off, on both hands. I didn't have work that week and didn't do any strenuous hand work so I don't see how this happened. The owner is very friendly, all of the staff are polite, no one talks about you where you can't understand them. The can do shelac on your toes and my nails always stay on long when I come here. I love this place. It didn't look like much from outside, but they do great work! read more

I needed to get my nails done for a wedding. I walked in and they started my pedicure right away. They offered a drink which was a nice little touch. An older woman (the Mom of the family business) did a great job with the pedicure. She didn't rush, the sugar scrub and massage was long and wonderful. She messed up the polish on one nail while putting my flip flops back on and redid it...which is what I expect - not just a "touch up." The manicure was good as well - I got the gel polish so I wouldn't have to worry chipping. They lasted for the wedding but they are more than chipping now. I don't normally do anything with my nails so I'm not too let down. If they didn't do such a great job on the pedicure and weren't so nice I'd be going back to ask for them to redo the manicure. read more

I had been going here for years. Lately I haven't had the best experience. What makes me give them one star is that they charge any amount they feel like. My daughter and I went on Saturday for a mani and pedi, my daughter waited for 45 minuets to be helped and I was helped right away. Today is Tuesday and I noticed my nails looked like I had them on for a month. I called and let them know that I needed my nailes fixed because they looked chipped and the nail polish was coming off. I went in and it took 40 minuets to be seen, once they were fixed I was charged $15 more! I will never be back to this location. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Nails Aqui for at least 2 years, probably for longer than that even but no more! A few months back I had Christina do my nails and wanted to try something new with the Shellac. She suggested to me that they would not look good the way I wanted them but I asked her to try one nail any way so that I could see what it looked like. Reluctantly she did and she ended up being right , I didn't like it,which I humbly apologized to her after for but what followed is what caused me to finally make the decision to take my business else where after so long. After this happened , pretty much every time I went in there , which was very regularly , Christina was very obviously rude to me specifically. I would even try to go out of my way to say hello and really be overly polite to see if she would I guess be nice to me again but it was to no avail and really looking back on it now I could kick myself for going out of my way to try to be polite to someone who was obviously going out of their way to treat me with such disrespect. I put up with this "yuckiness " from her over and over in one fashion or another all the while paying her for the services of her business establishment and ALWAYS tipping very well on top of that , might I add, until I said no more. Without going into detail on each individual incident I will tell u the last straw was going in there when the nail tech I used more often than not was absent and on vacation and I was very rudely and loudly told by Christina in front of the rest of her staff and other customers in the salon that I was too picky and that I should wait 10 days and come back when the one nail tech was back. I was stunned. I responded by stating that I couldn't wait 10 days and if she didn't want my business that I would go else were. She responded with a less than pleased look on her face and in the same rude kinda of way as always, as if she were doing me a painstaking favor and I was not paying her for her services, she accepted my business. This is just a small example of how I was treated on a continuous basis by her after the initial incident I described above. I would be treated with a little less rudeness by her a couple times in between the first and the last incident , but still always rude on some level and definitely not friendly . I don't get it ... For one I am not that picky but when I am paying for a service I expected to be treated with the average amount of dignity and respect that any business patron should expect as well as the services rendered being done well. Apparently not the case here when it comes to her. Well no more. I don't know who this woman thinks she is but shame on her for treating a customer like that , much less a person in general. I rarely go on rants like this in reviews nor do I EVER call people out by name in such a way but in this situation I feel it is absolutely warranted. My only regret is that I didn't stand up for myself sooner and in person. Never again will I patronize a business run by such a person. read more

Cheap prices and they do a good job on nails. I go mostly for pedicures and they give a nice massage for a $22 pedicure. My only negative comment is there is often a long wait, but that's inevitable at many nail salons. They were friendly too. read more

I LOVED this place! I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done! The staff were kind and the facility very clean. I went in thinking about getting a full set done on my nails. The owner, who was at the front desk, looked at my nails and said they are beautiful and didnt want to see them damaged by the fake nails and instead recommended getting them painted with the shelac instead. I am SO happy I went this route. My nails look beautiful and are so strong. It cost much more to get the fake nails and they recommended the cheaper option because they felt it was best for me!! It says so much that an establishment would suggest me spending less money on a particular product because it would be healthier on my nails. Just awesome! I also got a pedi and that was wonderful too! All the women there spoke pretty good English so it was nice being able to chat away with them. Love them and def going back! read more
