    AWEFUL Gel Manicure!
    Kristina H.

My poor momma went here yesterday and there is a new man working that literally made her bleed enough to where you can see the swelling, redness and possible infection THROUGH the nails! My mom says she was yelling at him and other employees tried to step in because her nails wouldn't stop bleeding. This experience was so painful and traumatic she literally had a nightmare about it last night and my dad had to wake her up. The worst part is she has been a Loyal Customer and they still had her PAY!!!!!! This is not ok.

Look at the brown smeared on multiple nails :/ he also only did one coat on the brown and it's super streaky

It's kinda icky inside, which I don't really mind if they do a good job. But they didn't, unfortunately. I told him I had my engagement shoot and how excited I was. But he rushed the polish and the brown gel smeared on multiple nails, and he didn't even fix it. I should have said something, but I didn't notice until I really looked at them in my car. Super disappointed.

When I first moved to Arizona, I went to a nail place, asked for the same shape I already had but to be cleaned up, and they completely ruined the shape of my nails. I found Henry due to reviews and he has been AWESOME! I have changed shapes, lengths, designs on my nails and he has always done an amazing job. Highly recommend!

Hurts to even walk. Kim didn't file my nails even. Then clipped the area I asked her is not needed please.

I hate to leave negative reviews but it's wrong to injure people and not even apologize. I'm in a lot of pain rightnow because Kim (one of the older lady) clipped my nail too deep after I asked her if she could even it out and as soon as she was about to clip the area that didn't need it I literally begged her to not touch that she said "oh it's ok" like she knew what she was talking about. She tried to fix the nail polish with acetone which hurt so much and I told her softly but she totally dismissed out and ignored it. She's a nice lady but I honestly think she might be just too old for this job. Because she wasn't able to file the nails even and she wasn't able to paint them correctly either. As a mother of 2 (working mother) getting manis/pedis is a feel good thing for me. Not only does this not even look good enough to take a pic of i don't even feel good looking at it. It bothers me how sloppy her work was. I wasted my money and most importantly my time and on top of that I'm in so much pain:( I would completely avoid this place as it seemed like they didn't have air conditioning they had fans instead. I would have been ok with that because of their mani/pedi deal they have going rightnow however it's just another thing added to my horrible experience and I know most ladies go their to have a good experience. However while I was there there was someone who called and asked the front desk lady for some younger lady who does nails, if she was available. So maybe ask for her Idk. But with so many nail salons around there are many great ones. This isn't even in my area I drove here because of the deal they have going rightnow. Never again. I'm sticking with the one near my house.

I get a pedi about every month or so, this place did the trick. It was clean, not super noisy and busy. There polish seemed somewhat new. A young guy did my polish and he did great. I did the basic pedi with rhinestones and it took an hour when getting right in, he wasn't rushing at all. They did a hot stone treatment that was new and fun to me, well worth $25-30.

I went in today for a simple manicure and pedicure with regular polish because I'm growing my nails…read moreout. Unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed, and I don't think I'll be returning. The manicure was okay. It was pretty quick, but the polish was applied evenly and I was happy with it. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad either. The pedicure, however, was a completely different experience. The technician was an older lady, and from the beginning I could tell she was having some difficulty with the polish. Her hands seemed noticeably shaky, and although she was trying, the application on several of my toes was not clean. **Two of my toenails in particular looked really bad after the first application. The polish was uneven and messy, the edges weren't clean, and it looked like the nails had not been properly finished. There was polish where it shouldn't have been, and the overall application looked sloppy rather than like a finished professional pedicure.** I was sitting there looking at my toes thinking, *There is no way I'm supposed to walk out of here with my toes looking like this.* I was also concerned because she didn't use toe separators. Since I specifically chose regular polish rather than gel, I knew the polish would need time to dry, and without separators I was worried that my toes would touch each other and mess up the polish. Thankfully, they didn't end up rubbing together. The technician did end up having to redo the problem areas on my toes. That helped, but the fact that they needed to be redone in the first place was frustrating, especially after already sitting through the service. I'll be posting pictures of **the first attempt and what I was apparently expected to leave the salon with**, because honestly, the pictures tell the story better than I can. If I hadn't said anything, I would have been walking out with two toes that looked noticeably unfinished and poorly painted. The massage itself was fine, and I don't want to say the entire pedicure was terrible because there were parts that were perfectly fine. But for a professional salon service, I expect the polish application to look clean and finished, especially when I'm paying full price. And then came the payment situation. While I was sitting in the chair waiting for my regular polish to dry, I was asked if I wanted to pay. I said sure. I was then told they only accept cash, Venmo, or Zelle. I chose Zelle because I have it and have used it to pay businesses before. However, when I entered the phone number they gave me, the recipient came up as **"Ricky" instead of the business name**. I specifically said, "It says Ricky, not T Nails." I was told, essentially, that yes, that was correct. That really threw me off. I've paid businesses through Zelle before, and the payment information has been connected to the business. Having the payment come up under what appeared to be a personal name made me uncomfortable. Then I was told the total was **$65 for the manicure and pedicure**. At that point, I was honestly pretty frustrated. I had already been there close to two hours, the pedicure had to be corrected because two of the toenails were poorly done initially, and I was still charged the full $65 without any sort of courtesy adjustment. I wasn't expecting the entire service to be free. But given that there was a noticeable problem with the pedicure and I had to have part of the service redone, I expected at least a small discount -- even $5 would have shown some acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I've been to other salons where, if there was even a slight problem with a service, they would remove the affected service from the bill or offer some kind of adjustment. So I was surprised that there was no attempt to do anything here. The salon itself was clean, but very plain, and there were only two people there during my visit. The actual service was okay overall, but it was not spectacular, and the problems with the pedicure combined with the payment situation really left a bad impression. **The biggest issue for me wasn't that the service wasn't perfect. It was that I was presented with a visibly poor first attempt on two of my toenails, had to have them redone, waited nearly two hours for the entire appointment, was charged the full $65, and was then asked to send the payment through Zelle to someone named "Ricky" rather than the business.** I'll post the pictures of my toes from the first attempt so people can see exactly what I mean. **Look at the photos and judge for yourself whether that is how a paying customer should be expected to leave a salon.** Just be forewarned.
