Update: they were very accommodating when family coming from out of town unexpectedly changed plans. We had to change our appointments 3 or 4 times. They also do good work and use good products. However, my mom has small fingers and had the skin cut off of one accidentally. Also, the color that she requested wasn't at all what she thought it was and they charged her $10 extra for it???? It was just gel polish no design. Additionally, I was charged $13 over what I paid last time and since I got the same dip powder I was only worked on maybe 20 minutes. Cute little shop located in a small strip mall. I'm from Mesa and had never heard of it, noticed it had 5 stars and decided to give it a shot. Very glad I did. Got an appointment within an hour. Workers were very nice and polite, as well as professional. Appreciated the attention to detail they had, as I feel like some salons can make you feel rushed, and not getting your full money's worth. I paid $90 for a gel manicure and an upgraded gel pedicure, which I felt I got my moneys worth. Never felt rushed, and my nails turned out perfect. A last minute decision to get a mani/pedi brought is to Western Girls Nails, and I'm glad it did! My BFF and I went looking for a nail shop, and being new to the area, turned to Yelp. The first place couldn't get us in for 2 hours, so we called Western Girls and Koby (sp?) and Tawn (sp?) were very welcoming, got us in right away, were easy to talk to, and did a great job on our nails. The salon, although slightly difficult to find in a small strip mall (just east of Ace Hardware), was clean, quaint, and inviting. There was a good selection of polish colors, and the service wasn't rushed. I think I've just found my new nail shop! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

She does meticulous work and I highly recommend her. When I booked my appointment on Yelp, they were quick to respond and answered all my questions. What a cute Nail Salon! I was in the neighborhood and needed a quick lunch time nail fix and was lucky to happen across this place based on their 5 start reviews. It is in a strip mall- no big deal, many nail places are. They were able to book me an appointment as I drove their way, which was really nice. The owners are two very sweet women who opened this location on their own. I am all about promoting this type of business! Their prices are spot on and I was able to get a spa pedicure and gel manicure in about an hour for a very reasonable price. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I paid close to $88.00 for the same service in Peoria near my house. Here- the same service with the same quality was roughly $50. Awesome! They also offer waxing and lash services. I will definitely use them again when I am nearby next. read more

My first visit to WG Nails was one week ago. I got a pedi and gel manicure. Such a friendly staffed salon with lots of attention to detail. Van, one of the owners did an excellent job and was very attentive and friendly. It is a smaller facility, but worth the distance for me to drive. I can't believe that my gel manicure is still perfect after a week! Usually They will start chipping into the end of the first week where I got them done prior. the worst nail experience I ever had. nails extremely thick, nails crooked. I had to come home and correct them as much as I could. I sat in the chair for 1 hr. and 40 minutes. The most expensive set and worst looking set of nails I ever had. I have had nails for many, many years. I have never sat in a chair longer than 1 hr. for a set of nails. The time wouldn't have been to bad if my nails came out looking good. There was one good thing that came out of this experience, the color looked good. read more
