I've been waxed before but never at EWC for xyz reason and since my normal lady is gonna be unavailable for an extended period of time, I decided to try them out. Anyway, I selected Haylee because she had the most recent and best review. She did a great job! Very efficient and quick. So I read in previous reviews that said she talked during the wax which made it go by fast; I agree!!! However, we went through so many topics so fast lol. I suppose there is nothing actually wrong with that; I'm just use to having more in-depth convos with my wax lady and massage therapist during our sessions. Just a preference! She was cool though and her tattoos were dopeeee. Also shoutout to Rachel at the front for greeting me with a smile and good energy and vibe even though I think they were close to closing (and I may have been one of the last waxes) and also after my wax, she did a great job explaining all the wax deal/packages. I did want to take advantage but it's just not in the budget rn unfortunately. Overall, Thanks EWC.

I gave it a try knowing I took a chance as this is a new service they provided and it is very close to my house. I never expected to be missing part of my eyebrow as a result that is now not growing back and I have to consider alternatives like microblading so I can fill in the missing hair. Apparently, all of them were newly trained but clearly not well enough. They follow an instruction sheet as they are doing it. As someone who has done lamination many times, the girl who did my lamination said some questionable things during the process. For example, a vital part of lamination is the after care which I received zero information on. I would have been okay with that had my eyebrows been fine. Instead they have thinned out completely and my left is missing a part of the eyebrown that I now have to pencil in every day. It is very clear that they are doing this without solid training in the hopes that it turns out okay. Even when I went back to show them, the second girl had to follow the instruction sheet to see what might have gone wrong and seemed unsure of herself. Super disappointed that I have to now deal with the aftermath of how to get my eyebrows looking back to how they were before.

I have to admit, at first I wasn't sure about this back waxing thing. I mean, its not exactly a massage... Luckily, I found Lindsey and Expressions Wax Spa. Her warm, friendly and professional demeanor put me at ease, and made the experience less painful. Its several years later now and although that girlfriend is gone, I still enjoy visiting Lindsey every 8 weeks or so. I've followed Lindsey as she's moved locations and built her business. Her newest studio is as warm and inviting as ever. I've also referred others - she's that good. Guys - if your wife/gf is complaing about that sweater on your back, go see Lindsey. After a quick Yelp search, I found Rehana Beauty Bar and realized it was in the San Tan Village mall. I love visiting the mall but wasn't sure exactly where it was. Of course my GPS just dropped me off in the middle of the mall, so you want to look for the Honeybee Boba tea place and it's right next to Fast Fix Jewelry. Luckily, Rehana herself picks up the phone and she directed me on where exactly to go. Parking is readily available at the mall. It's $18 only to get your eyebrows threaded and I was in and out with no appointment in less than 10 minutes. It's quick, easy, she listened to what I wanted and did it in a heartbeat. She has another location in Mesa and she's opening a new one in Queen Creek. This location has been around for four years. She also sells jewelry and clothes. You get a punchcard that you can use towards the discounted service. She is super sweet and was so nice to my kids who joined me for the occasion! I would definitely come back here and she comes highly recommended!

They listen when I ask not to take too much off my brows and I've left satisfied 9 times out of 10. The salon is clean and welcoming. The new space is much bigger than their last and has more chairs. Their prices have gone up, which I understand. I used to pay $13 for eyebrow threading and recently paid $15. They're a great, convenient option since they don't typically require an appointment.
