As someone who has done lamination many times, the girl who did my lamination said some questionable things during the process. For example, a vital part of lamination is the after care which I received zero information on. I would have been okay with that had my eyebrows been fine. Instead they have thinned out completely and my left is missing a part of the eyebrown that I now have to pencil in every day. It is very clear that they are doing this without solid training in the hopes that it turns out okay. Even when I went back to show them, the second girl had to follow the instruction sheet to see what might have gone wrong and seemed unsure of herself. I was taken in as soon as I arrived for my appointment. In fact, I arrived about 5 mins early so that I wouldn't take up much of her time and so that she can continue conducting business after the service was completed. If I had been running late, I would have done my best to reach out to communicate that. Anywho, Carlee conducted a phenomenal job and this has been my 8th return to Lunchbox. As long as she remains with the business, I will continue coming back as her service is one of a kind. I went into my appointment and unfortunately they would not take me because I was on antibiotics and they said that I could burn. I was very disappointed, but I understood. They said at least I had to be off antibiotics for two weeks. Unfortunately, I had to be on antibiotics for a few months because I was ongoing an infection that I could not get rid of. Finally, I have been off the antibiotics for two weeks and I called to schedule my appointment. Told them I was ready to receive my Wax service. Also mentioned I had my Bogo free appointment that I was promised because that was my next Wax service. They told me they cannot honor it because I did not come back in a few weeks. However, they were the one that turned me away due to antibiotics and told me I was not allowed to come back until I was off of them for two weeks. They told me they couldn't honor it because it was too long. I am a cosmetologist and have been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. I would never give a gift card or offer service and then take it away due to a client being sick. That's saying like a gift card expires in a few months. I have been going to them for multiple Waxing services for months prior to this. They said that there is nothing I could do. Very disappointed because I am the type of woman that stays with a licensed professional once I find somebody I like. I will now be moving on to other options and places now. Of course my GPS just dropped me off in the middle of the mall, so you want to look for the Honeybee Boba tea place and it's right next to Fast Fix Jewelry. Luckily, Rehana herself picks up the phone and she directed me on where exactly to go. Parking is readily available at the mall. It's $18 only to get your eyebrows threaded and I was in and out with no appointment in less than 10 minutes. It's quick, easy, she listened to what I wanted and did it in a heartbeat. She has another location in Mesa and she's opening a new one in Queen Creek. This location has been around for four years. She also sells jewelry and clothes. You get a punchcard that you can use towards the discounted service. She is super sweet and was so nice to my kids who joined me for the occasion!
