Update. Good pedis and nice employees. They have those really awesome robot massage chairs too so it's a total bonus to the pedicure. :D

Amazing!!!! Im a regular and i love how they always remember me and make me feel like a valued customer. Their services are the best in Seattle, they never cut corners even if you are running late they are always accommodating and Sam and Vinny are just the best at sculpting nails. Friendly staff, amazing nails, Every time. I highly recommend! read more

I bought a DealDigger deal for this place way back when. As in, when they still had DealDigger. I put off using it for the longest time and when I finally decided to use it, I logged onto Yelp and saw these reviews. It made me a little nervous, but I already had the deal so off I went. I got a French manicure with glitter over Shellac for $15. I couldn't find the glitter I wanted from their swatches. At first one lady came and foiled my fingers to take my previous nail polish off. She told me it would cost $5. I thought this was kind of crazy considering it was normal nail polish and not Shellac but I didn't want to be a cheapskate so I didn't say anything. Then a man came and sat down. He was really good about finding the right glitter polish for me. I saw a review that mentioned no one spoke English. I didn't pay too much attention to the other employees but this man spoke fluent English. He looked at my fingers and realized the lady gave me a Shellac nail polish removal on my regular nails. The lady never even asked me! The man understood exactly what I wanted for my manicure (since it was kind of offbeat) and did a great job. He never rushed and when one of my nails touched my finger in the UV light, he just fixed it for me, no problem. While my nails were curing, he talked to me about the manicure and how to get it off at home (it was my first Shellac) without trying to sell me on coming back for a $5 removal. Also, he didn't charge me for the initial removal of my non-Shellac nails which I thought was nice of him. I waited to review since I noticed a lot of people said their Shellac fell off quickly but I didn't have that problem. It's now day 13. A few days ago, I noticed one nail seemed chipped and one other nail looked like the Shellac wanted to fall off but it didn't. On day 13, I see a couple pieces loosening and caught onto my stuff once or twice, but overall, it would def. last 14 days. I was happy with my manicure. If I was in the are and wanted Shellac again, I would come back. read more

If I'm not having a spa day with the girls this is where I go to get my pedicures. The girls at Nail Time are great; they do a wonderful job on my toes and give great massages. Sometimes I might not need a pedicure but I'll go get one just for the foot rub and massage. The best part about this place is its open on Sundays! Yes Sunday's and during the week they are open until 7 and they take walk-ins anytime. I love going in on Sunday's after brunch and relaxing a little while getting my toes done. Of all the walk in nail salon's in West Seattle this is by far the best I've come across, friendly service, many nail color options, and a clean environment. read more

Love this salon! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Def recommend to anyone needing a good mani/ pedi. They are pretty detail oriented and make sure you leave feeling pretty happy. read more

I love it here! They do a same time mani and pedi. Also the mani comes with a shoulder and hand massage. For a shellac mani and spa pedi it's $65. I think that pretty standard. I can always walk in. Last time they served mimosas! read more

Nail time is my new go-to place. You just can't beat their prices, and they gave me a punch card for a free manicure down the road! It isn't the most organized place but the results speak for themselves. Same goes for their customer service. I wasn't wowed by it...but frankly I'm ok with it as long as they aren't rude. They aren't rude her at all, just fairly quiet and efficient. It's been over a week now and my shellac manicure still looks better than the one I paid almost double for elsewhere. I haven't had a pedicure there but I'm going to get one before I go to a wedding in a few weeks. I'm very pleased with the results. Ask for Bee, she does great work! read more

Was really hoping to like this place. It has a lot of chairs and lots of workers so the process goes pretty fast. However, it was pretty expensive ($65 for a shellac manicure and pedicure) in my opinion. And the work was not great. The very next day the shellac was starting to peel off and my cuticles looked okay for a day and now are back to looking poor as well. It also wasn't very consistent service. My friends all received massages with their manicures but I did not. read more

I've been here multiple times and I've never had a bad experience, except for today. The woman who did my nails didn't speak ANY English. She would point and not say anything. I asked her questions and made comments on the color and length and she didn't even acknowledge it! I was with someone else and her nails turned out great! Mine however are awful. I still have a lot of cuticles left as she didn't really trim them. The length of my nails were all different, and you definitely could tell. I had to trim them myself afterwards. The color is very opaque as well. It was supposed to be a nude. There was pretty much no point in getting the color. I could have done a better job but I don't have the patience or time to do them myself. Very disappointed read more

This girl shops these places for hand and toe polish once a week, every week and Nail Time gets my 5 star vote. Great service, excellent work and the owner also seems to do alot for the community. Parking on California may be hard to find sometimes, but I promise its worth it! read more

They usually do a decent job at the work but their customer service was horrible my last time. I was asked four times what I needed and each time I said I had an appointment for a mani and pedi. Forty minutes after my appointment time I asked to finally be started because I only had 90 minutes. What a mess. I won't come back. read more

Not the best place (Day Nails is) but good! People are nice, they're very fully staffed. The prices are moderate? Not more or less expensive than average. I love getting shellac here, they have quite an array of colors to choose from! Good place to go if you're in a big group. read more

I have been going to Nail Time for several years now. I always make a reservation and ask for Lisa, as she is my favorite. I recently changed from acrylics to SNS, per Sam's suggestion, and I love them. Much healthier for your nails and they look fantastic. My nails would look terrible if I didn't get them done, and I trust Nail Time to take care of me. read more

Super nice inside the staff is awesome and super helpful! They have gained a client for sure!

Love this place! This little gem in west Seattle saved my nails from a "fill from hell!" The owner Samantha is awesome! She is precise, gentle and very caring. She made sure I got what I wanted and that I left happy. This is my new spot for all my nail needs! read more

I think this place is good for a basic pedi/Mani. They have a lot of pedi chairs so 3-4 of you can go together which is nice.

Everyone there is so friendly and efficient. They are always able to squeeze me in even when they are busy. They do a great job on my nails every time. read more

Service is excellent. Each technician is extremely friendly and does a great job. I think it's a great value!

My favorite nail place in seattle! I always opt for the extra five minute shmassage at the end of my service and it's a great addition. I highly recommend them for all of your nail needs. :) read more

What's the purpose of taking appointments if u have no intentions of reserving. Called Friday morning as soon as they opened to make appt for 3 pedicures & manicure for next day at 3 pm. We arrived on time, no greeting whatsoever. Everyone was busy. I stated we had an appt. We sat & waited for 20 min, I asked what is the purpose of taking appt if u just ignore them? One lady pointed 3 seats that were opened so we sat down but, apparently they expected us to just do it ourselves since there wasn't anybody available. We got up @ 3:30 & I said this is ridiculous. What a waste of time & drive from Capital Hill. No apologies, they didn't give a crap. I vote this nail salon as the rudest & most unprofessional nail salon I've ever been to. Business 101, Walk ins shouldn't take precedence over appointments/reservations. Otherwise, just don't take appointments! Instead, you wasted our Saturday afternoon. Ugh...6 thumbs down read more

I have been having my nails, toes and brows done at Nail Time for over 15 years. Every person working there will make you feel at home. If you go there often enough (as I am sure you will once you try their services) you will make friends with the other clients. Sam is a true professional. She greets you at the door and if you have been there before......she will remember your name. I am a people watcher and I love watching the people in the spa pedicure chairs...they all look so comfortable and I have even seen a few people fall asleep. You would have to trust the person doing your nails or that would never happen. I recommend Nail Time!!! You will be treated like the best customer in the world. Thanks. read more

Best pedicure in town. Special happy hour pricing during the week between two and three pm.

Terrible... i got a mani here yesterday, and it's already started to peel for shellac.... i will take my 30 bucks elsewhere

Warning. This is probably the worst place to get a pedicure in West Seattle. I went in trying to pamper myself and left in pain because they cut the cuticles so short my toe is inflamed. Additionally my foot is so dry I can't believe that even had a pedicure yesterday!I have never posted a negative review before but this was so bad I felt obligated to say something.STAY AWAY read more

The SNS nails - and all other services. The best. Really .... I travel a lot and use so many nail salons and I have never had one that does this great of a job and is consistent. Sam is wonderful. It's a busy shop so be prepared for that. And the price is really good. read more

Will not use this salon again. Hot inside, packed and smelly. Turn and burn kind of place, especially for a basic pedicure. Awful smelling cream product used on legs that I could not wash off. Girl did not even file or clean nails prior to adding polish. Better places in WS that are cleaner, more comfortable and reasonable. read more

In my opinion, it's the best nail salon in Seattle. I've been a long time customer. Sam, the owner, is super friendly and always greets me by name. Her staff is always courteous and professional. I've introduced several friends to this salon. Many who do not live in W. Seattle, but will make the trip just to have their nails done at Nail Time. I've tried other salons in W.Seattle and they just don't compare to the level of service I get at Nail Time. I also bring my two teenage sons in every now and then for a spa pedi. They were apprehensive at first, but have found they enjoy the service as well as interacting with the female nail technicians. read more

Best affordable nail salon, shellac lasts longer than any other salon I have been to. Plus, who doesn't love a happy hour for nails?

My daughter and I went to Nail Time for the first time today. The owner Samantha did an awesome job and was so sweet (as was every one else). We will be going back for sure. read more

Pleasantly surprised! last time i came to nail time i got a kinda careless and sloppy pedicure(hence why i took off a star) but this time so much better! Hellen is amazing!! she is so careful and meticulous with her work! she took her time and made sure i approves every step of the manicure process! Hellen was also super sweet, but didn't make small talk that no one wants. Thank you and nice job Hellen!! read more

OMG! if you guys are paying $60 for SNS nails you are definitely paying too much. I called to make an appt and was told the cost. The other nail places charge $35-$45 and do a good job. read more

Friendliest staff! I've been going here for a few years now for pedicures and lately I've been getting acrylics with Sam. She does a beautiful job and is also super attentive to all customers. They sincerely appreciate everyone's business and really seem to go above and beyond making sure all customers with or without appointments are taken care of. Happy hour prices are pretty awesome, too! Thank you, Sam and everyone at Nail Time! read more

Great place!! So unassuming from the outside. But the place was pretty nice in the inside, nicer than other nail places in the area. It's quiet, and relaxing. Tvs are on playing hgtv house hunters. I have ZERO chips are peeling of my shellac and I am always playing with my nails especially because I am a biter (shellac stops me from doing it). The people are professional and great! I will definitely be going back. read more

i got 2 shellac coupons for this place so i went there for the first time. i had an appointment and i still had to wait for at least 20 mins. i got there at 4:30pm, i had shellac removal, shellac manicure (french), out around 6:00pm. they soaked my fingers in nail polish remover for 5 mins to remove old shellac. nails were not shaped & painted evenly. their quality is not that great though there were about 5 to 7 people working there so maybe some other people have better skills... (but personally, i think the person who can not provide quality service shouldn't be on the floor working as pro). i didn't think their customer service was very nice. if you become a regular there, they may treat you differently but, as a new customer there, they're not very nice... i will go back there one more time since i have one more coupon and see if they'll be any better. it was $30 worth coupon (i purchased it for $15) + $5 for shellac removal. So I assume it normally costs $35 for shellac removal + Shellac French manicure... but not for sure. I just started Shellac manicure and only other place I've tried is Regina nail so, not sure which one is better but, I can say that customer service at Regina Nail is much better than this place for sure. read more

My roommate and I were sitting around and making fun of our "winter toes". You know when you wear shoes and socks so much that your pedicure from months ago is chipped and sad looking. So, we decided to check out Nail time for pedicures in our neighborhood. We walked into a very sunny looking nail place with lots of people. We were able to get pedicure chairs next to each other within 10 minutes. There were 8 newer looking massage pedicure chairs and the employees there were very nice and seemed to listen and understand our requests. They autoclave their tools! The nail salon was clean and painted a pleasant yellow color...perhaps a color called potato chip? Also, there were enough places for everyone to sit while waiting and drying nails. Our pedicures turned out very well and we even received 10% off for our first visit. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was the $1 charge for using my credit card and the uncertainty that the person who did my pedicure would receive a tip if I put it on my card. So, the roomie and I decided to pay for our pedicures together so we only get 1 credit card charge and paid the ladies in cash for tips. That was slightly more work than we had anticipated. The "spa pedicures" here are higher than average at $28 bucks but they give longer massages. So, it depends on your priorities. I like the autoclaving, bright track lighting, extra room and nice long massage but I'm open to trying new places as well around here next time. read more

I used to come all the time, and it was hit or miss. Some of the women there are great, by lately it's been horrible. The last 3 times I have come in for my regular shellac manicure, here's what happens: They sit you down, you wait for 10-15-to 20 minutes for the lady who initially started doing your nails to come back to you, she may start doing a pedicure for another women, or walk away to who knows where, while the acetone soaks on your nails and you sit there confused... Other times it seems like they aren't paying attention to your nails (I've left with different lengths and shapes before). There was one time my cuticle was cut and starting bleeding (no discount). The last and final time I was there I had my nails grown pretty long and was excited about that, but somehow the manicurist managed to break one them off so she had to cut them all. If the owner is there, I definitely recommend trying to get her to do your nails. She is very kind and great at what she does. Not all of the women working there are bad, sometimes you're lucky and you get someone who knows what they're doing, but I've been disappointed with my service one too many times to come back. I was really only going for my punch card... read more

So I walk in to Nail Time no hello they just look at me and ask what I want ... Pedi I tell them they say pick a color I wait like 10 minutes they say nothing else not how long it's gonna be nothing ... this always happens when the owner is not there... I'm over it I will look for some other place to get my pedi at ... they don't have good reviews at all but maybe not sure the owner cares really ... read more

I've been going to Nail time for a couple of years now and really hated to write this review. They have really gone down hill. If I don't call ahead and make an appointment, I have gotten very mixed results. There are three women that I love and others I'm not happy with. I get a regular pedi and a shellac mani. They last four times they have lasted less and less time. I travel for a work and don't have time to come in to get them fixed. Unfortunately this last time was probably my last. it makes me sad but the turnover of staff seems too frequent to keep up with and that must mean something. I hope they get if figured out. read more

I went to this salon based on the strength of the reviews here and was very pleased. The color selection is fantastic. The nail techs were friendly, precise and professional. I walked in with a friend to find that all the spa pedi massage chairs were full. After about a ten minute wait, we were seated at spa pedi chairs together. The massage chair has a great low-back kneading action, and enhanced my pampering experience. A word of warning, this place was pretty busy on a Saturday - but we were helped quickly and without feeling hurried. Also, expect to be charged an extra dollar for debit/credit transactions. This is well-communicated through several signs at the drying bench and at the register counter. I completely enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back as often as possible! A great value for the clean, sunny, professional atmosphere. read more

I got a crappy acrylic job done by another nail salon and came here to see if they could fix it. They did fix it AND it was the best job anyone has ever done on my nails. they are so thin (good thing :) and perfect. They feel like my real nails just stronger and more beautiful. Thank you nail time! read more
