The ladies took great care of me, all three were working in my mani and pedicure taking turns. The pedicure was great and the massage was very nice. As for my French manicure, I am less than impressed. The white tips smeared when she applied the tip coat, and the top coat isn't even shiny. She didn't buff my nails or anything before applying the polish, so you can see every little imperfection from my previous acrylics and the damage is pretty evident. Also; $100 for a pedicure and a manicure? I understand I got gel on my toes, but the manicure was literally just paint and a quick cuticle trim, in my opinion that is way too much money for that service. I went to Amy's Nails because it's literally right next door to my lash place. I needed to get my acrylics removed so I wasn't really too specific on where I was going. Acrylics are great, but they had their run with me this time around. It turns out having a one year old and a full time job leaves you with like, no free time? Weird. So, it was time to let them go for now. Amy's Nails is a clean spot and with being around rush hour on a weekday, there was no wait because I was the only client. Perfect! Not sure of the woman's name who did my nails, but she got the acrylics off quickly and painlessly! I also had her do a manicure after, which was good. My only complaint is that the polish was already cracking a few hours later. It's been a while since I've had my NATURAL nails done, but that's not normal, right?! Oh well. Asked for dip on my natural nails, they topped it with gel which is not usual practice for dip, burned my hands with boiling water when trying to remove my previous dip powder nails. They messed up my nail shape and made the points on my almond shaped nails crooked. Finally they over charged me compared to the list of pricing in their store. Will not be going back. I wanted to take my 3 year old out for a mommy and me date for her first pedicure and Amy's is walkable from my house which is nice. We didn't have an appointment as our date was a spontaneous idea but the gals at Amy's were very kind to get us in even though they appeared to be pretty busy. For their service and kindness I give them 5 stars. For my nails, a solid 4. My pedicure wasn't perfect, but that's ok. It was a fun experience for both me and my daughter. read more

Wow, talk about a great pedicure! For a minute, I thought they were trying to rip us off and give us the $40 Deluxe Pedicure that was posted on the wall because of the thorough job they were doing on my and my moms toes. I guess that's what I get for thinking I had experienced a great pedicure before but to my surprise, I haven't until now. The way she did my polish was a bit messy, but I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt because the color I chose did look a bit clumpy once she opened the bottle. It may have been old. Either way though, the outcome of the polish wasn't too bad and I was satisfied. I love that they have Happy Hour! What other little nail shops around here do that? None to my knowledge. I really WANT to give this shop a good review because I used to go there all the time. I had a really bad shellac mani a few months back and thought it was an anomaly. I went again on Saturday to give them another shot. So ... here goes ... I went in for a regular pedicure and a shellac mani. The pedicure was ok, although not the good ones I remember. The shellac mani was already chipping off by the end of the day Saturday. I don't know whether they are using old supplies, or not enough time, or what. I've filed them down and hope to get a week or so out of them because I'm leaving town and don't have time to go back in. Sadly, as much as I would love to give them a good review, I cannot. I have lived in West Seattle for a few years and have been looking for a place to go to get my nails done. I saw on Yelp that Amy's Nails had good reviews and decided to try them out. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately greeted and pointed to an open chair. They put a disposable liner in the foot soaker for each customer! What a bonus! I only needed a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised with the attention she gave to my feet. From the trim to the massage and polish. They use hot towels and a hot stone to massage your legs and feet. I had never had that at a walk-in nail salon - it was a really nice touch. Best of all the prices are really affordable. For just a pedi she charged my only $23! I made up for the cheap price with a nice tip. This is definitely my new go-to for manis & pedis. read more

I love Amy's Nails. I had gone to City Nails (or I should say Shitty Nails) a few times, and will never go back. The nail technicians are so nice and remember you even if you have only been there once. They are always laughing and joking around and include the customers in on their jokes. And they certainly don't rush you through a service which is something that most typical nail shops do - I really love that, you get the bang for your buck. In addition to the great staff, they used sterilized tools out of the package for every person. It is overall one of the cleanest places I have ever been to. I have been going to Amy's Nails for pedicures for several years, and am very happy when I walk out of there! They do the full deal, cutting nails, trimming dry skin, taking off callouses and rough skin, rubbing legs and feet with sugar/salt scrub, massaging, and using hot towels and hot stones. They have massage chairs (ok, they're a little old) and a good selection of polish colors. The polish on our toes is always very well done (bottom coat, 2 coats color, topcoat, and design if you want), and lasts at least 3 weeks! Once in a great while, they are rushed and don't do a perfect job, but it's rare. My two friends and I like to go in together, so the women know us now and are just so fun and friendly. We also bring our guys in sometimes, which always seems to liven up the place even more! read more

Clean, comfy, pampered, and professional results! This was my first visit, thanks to YELP reviews!!! The DISPOSABLE LINERS for the spa chairs brought me in. I was immediately seated on one of their comfortable spa chairs; music was pleasant and the salon had a bright and clean appearance. My manicurist was Sarah, GREAT! She took her time to gently clean up my cuticles, followed by a loofah on my heals, next Sarah used a scrub to polish my feet & legs. Next came the warm, moist towel followed by a hot rock massage! Are you relaxed yet? We are not done, before she applied my polish perfectly, she gave a wonderful foot and leg massage. All this is was included in their pedicure. Now for the manicure, I never left the comfy spa chair, my manicurist, Cindy, transformed my nails (I do not wear acrylics or gels). Cindy was great too. She spent time gently on my cuticles, . The hand/arm massage was very relaxing. I did not have polish, but I am sure it would have looked professional too. The price is the same as other salons; the service and results were far better. I left an extra tip for their great service. I will be back; it is worth the drive from wherever you are in Seattle or Eastside. Check them out! After your manicure/pedicure stop at the C & P Coffee Shop across the street. BTW, I do not give 5 stars on my first visit, sorry. They were deserving of a 4.9999. Worst pedicure EVER! This was obviously a rush job. I asked for nails to be cut VERY short. They were barely cut down at all and not cut evenly. The calluses and dry skin on my feet are all pretty much still there because 5 seconds is not enough time to smooth that down AND there was absolutely NO message. Always the best experience of any other nail salon I have gone to. Phong's shop is clean and tidy. The girls a super friendly with lots of laughter in the salon. I feel so totally relaxed when I am there. I love how they use the hot black rocks during the massage part of the deluxe pedi too! Happy Hour is a really good deal as well. I had great service, the place was clean, wonderful hot stone massage and I really like the liners in the foot soakers that are changed after each use. Racist place!!!! This place is the worst and if you are African American DO NOT I repeat DO NOT waste your time. My sister and I called in advance to see if we need an appointment, the lady said no. So we walked and once we arrived no one was in there besides the workers,which were sitting in the chairs doing nothing! There were no customers and none was coming in for a while. They closed at 7pm and we got there at 4:30pm and she told us no we can make you an appointment tomorrow. I was so disgusted with this place I would advice NO ONE to come there!!!!! I'm an esthetician, and really needed to treat myself. So I decided to call in an appointment for a pedicure. it was $23 for the best pedicure I've ever had! My nail tech was Phuong, and she was outstanding. I sank into the massage chair while my feet were soaking, and noticed all of the nail artists were all talking and laughing WITH the clients. Sometimes when I go places, I'm always worried they are talking about me, but it was nothing other than friendly vibes here. I wasn't able to get my legs waxed until later that day, but she made me feel comfortable bearing my hairy legs while she massaged them. The massage portion was so perfect, and then she followed up with a hot stone massage on my feet and legs too! I was blown away. The polish job was perfect, and has still lasted after nearly one month. What brought me in here were the reviews about cleanliness there. And being an esthetician, I was paying close attention to their sanitary practices. I was very pleased with how clean they keep this place. they actually use single-use tub covers for each client, so you will never set your foot in the same bacteria as the person before you. This is definitely where I will be coming from now on!! I'm open to trying other nail techs there, but Phuong was so amazing, I might see her again! read more

In Seattle for the day and decided to get a mani/pedi as I hadn't had time to get one at home, and I have a very important wedding to attend tomorrow. I checked Yelp and found Amy's Nails. Unfortunately, my experience was pretty awful. I'm giving two stars because the women who work there were friendly, and the shop was clean. However, the paint job on both fingers and toes left a lot to be desired. I asked to have my toenails shortened a bit, and they hacked them down so short on the right foot that it was painful. They are very uneven and look like I just clipped them straight off, no shaping. Also, as the woman was finishing painting them, someone else came in and she rushed off without applying a top coat. When I asked about it later, they put cuticle oil on my toes and said it was better. I got a shellac mani, and having had many shellac manis, I know that it should look almost perfect. Mine are far from it. I've never heard a nail tech make so many "oops" sounds before. She also applied the color over the top coat on a few nails after she had finished, never applying a top coat after. At one point, some fibers from the paper towel got stuck to a nail, and when I pointed it out, instead of removing them, she laid a layer of top coat over it instead. I attempted to point out the problem areas, and she had me talk to someone else, which was fine, except that woman stared intently at my nails and then told me it was "okay". When I showed her the obvious errors, she sighed and told me I could wait and they would repaint but that it would be awhile as the shop had filled up. I didn't have time to wait, so I paid and left. Other customers seemed happy, so I don't know if my experience was a fluke, but I left quite displeased. read more

I showed up and they said they didn't have any appointment for me and they were booked until late in the day. I was getting my nails done for an event that evening. To say that I will be telling everyone to avoid this place is an understatement. I prefer to give my business to people who know how to take appointments and how to keep them. I had never been there before, and my first impression was how dirty it was. I figured a polish change would still be ok, but made a mental note to never get a mani or a pedi there. The tech told me they were busy, told me to come back. She didn't give me a time to come back, which is poor customer service, and her tone gave me the impression that she was put off by me coming into her shop. I told her thank you but I didn't have time. Her snarky reply was, "you don't have time? Well we don't have time either". Then she very sarcastically said "sorry". I get a shellack manicure here every few months. Best shellack manicure I've ever had and soooooooo many color options! Holy cow! Literally any color you could want or need! Typically lasts two weeks before I start getting annoyed and pick at my nails -i prefer my nails very short and like to trim them once a week- if I could deal W my nails longer I'm sure I could get the shellack to last longer. read more

One of the best pedi/mani I had in a while! I recommend you go during their happy hour which is Mon/Thurs 1-3pm for a $26 mani/pedi. This is a super friendly super clean place. All the supplies are well sanitized and they have bags that are filled with the supplies to use for every customer. The massage on my calves wasn't as long as I would liked but long enough to make it a bit relaxing. Before you get to the polish you get a scrub, massage, hot towel, hot stone, then the polish!! Linda was the lady who did my nails and she did an amazing job on my french tips! I get really picky if the tips don't turn out right but she was precised on having them all even. I will be coming back here again! The only down side of the shop is parking but that doesn't really bother me that much. read more
