This is a long overdue review, but I had to leave one for the service I had here. I called to make an appointment with Christina, having not been here before. She let me know she was booked out for quite a while, but upon hearing I needed my nails done at the last minute for my upcoming wedding, she rearranged her schedule to accommodate me. It was so incredibly sweet! I loved getting to know Christina. She was very kind and genuine. I don't get my nails done often, but I will return to get my nails done by her. She did a fantastic job on my gel mani-pedi and even helped me pick the perfect bridal color. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Great pedicure in downtown west Seattle area. She uses high quality lotions and really spends time on your toenails which frankly is pretty rare. Cares about picking the right color for you as well, which I have never experienced with most pedi places. Solo owned so you can't go with your friends, but the owner is enough of a conversationalist you won't be bored. Only downside for me is that it's OPI color range only. Not my favorite polish brand personally. I like more bright and exciting colors, OPI usually leans more mature or basic but she found something I ended up liking. I have to say this is the absolute best nail salon I've been to. Of course it is not an upscale salon, but Christina has excellent guest service and great pricing there is no need to go to a spa. Christina is the owner and only employee of this nail salon. She is appointment only so please keep that in mind! I called her around 10am in the morning and was able to get a pedicure appointment in at 1215pm. She really personalizes the interaction and takes her time with you. I did a pedicure and a callus removal and it took roughly an hour. All her clients are her regulars as she greeted the gentleman before me and after my appointment by name and a warm welcome. I had a weird experience here. I called during business hours and didn't get an answer. The owner lady called me back which is unusual since I didn't leave a message. She was really aggressive about getting me in. She actually called me twice. When I came in for my appointment I was disappointed in the lack of color choices and I was hoping to get something really fun for my upcoming vacation. She then told me that she "doesn't do (nail) art", because she doesn't have time. At that point when I couldn't even find a color I liked I decided not to get my nails done here at all. Love, love, LOVE this place. Christina is fantastic - super sweet, personable, and accommodating (she stayed late the evening I called, even though she had plans, to make sure I was perfectly polished for a trip to Vegas the next day). And she's so adorable, I kind of want to be friends with her in real life. The shop is small but super clean, and there is plenty of parking nearby. The mani/pedi was awesome - Christina is very thorough and the polish lasted longer than I expected it to. She even taught my BF (via FaceTime) the appropriate foot massage technique, which I expect to pay dividends. :) As far as I can tell, Christina is a one-man show, so you'll need to make an appointment in advance... but it's absolutely worth the wait. The sign on the outside says walkins welcome but she is a one woman show with a ton of regulars. Meaning you can't just expect to be helped on the spot. However she will try her best to fit you in and often makes space in her day to do so. She speaks great english and is super friendly. I know it's sorta taboo but, I like to know that anyone working on my feet hands and eyebrows can understand what I want. Inside the salon is warm and comfortable. The decor is cute and up lifting.
