Lin and Cherry and all the staff always do a fantastic job with my manis and pedis. They take appointments and they are TIMELY with their appointments. I have never had to wait when I arrived for my appointments. They always provide great service. The salon is very clean. It is small and quaint. I like the small and intimate environment where I can get to know the employees. Nice place, clean. Employees wear masks and so do clients. However there is not a shield between you and the tech, only if you sit at the table for manicure or other hand/nail services. Tech I got was really nice, and friendly. They also have a great deal on Mani & Pedi for only $35! Cheapest I have found so far in West Seattle. read more

The people there were very nice. I just feel as though they rushed through my nails. I wish I would've said something there but I was in a bit of a rush to get home. They charged me $25 which was cheap for gel and a fullset so I suppose you get what you pay for but the quality was poor and it was just all around messy. read more

The worst experience I've ever had at any establishment. Do not go to this salon. My sister and I went into this salon on Sunday to get 2 shellac manicures. We had appointments and still had to wait 30 min - there were 2 women working and 2 people already getting pedicures. I understand sometimes they are understaffed and you do have to factor in some wait time, so I overlooked that part of the experience. On top of the place being unsanitary and disgusting (there was dirt caked on the floor, and it just did not feel clean) - one of the women's teenage daughter was sleeping across two chairs, making it awkward and uncomfortable. The woman was also talking (on speaker phone) with a man who sounded like a family friend, while she was giving my sister her manicure. She was talking about very personal things like how her daughter didn't wish her a happy mother's day, and about her sugar daddy that she gets gifts from (you can't make this stuff up). Since she was sitting directly across from my sister doing her nails, she was also shouting into her ear as she was having the side conversation. The quality of the shellac was mediocre to say the least - she filed my sister's nails down way too short and she had really long nails to start with. Everything was unsanitary - I felt like I had to scrub my hands when I got home to keep from getting a fungus or something. The massage at the end was weak and lasted literally 5 seconds. What made me angry enough to write this review was that she CHARGED ME TWICE. I paid with my Chase credit card and she told me that for some reason, the machine didn't allow tip on that card (she was quite "coy" about it, said it had something to do with the credit card company), so she said she'd cancel the transaction if I used another card. I didn't have any cash on me, was overly trusting and obliged, because I always leave a small tip no matter what. I looked on my credit card statement today, and she had indeed charged both cards for both manicures. It wasn't relaxing - it was stressful, which is the exact opposite of how you should feel at a nail salon - and it cost me twice as much because she cheated me out of my money. made me feel right at home. i just love going on those massage chairs! and when one of the women let me go back on the chair and relax with all of them and chat after i was done with my nails, i definitely felt right at home. i'm notorious for messing up my polish which of course i did at the end but they were helpful and touched it up. great service and right in the junction so it's super convenient if you are in the area. pedi and mani $35. read more

I came in for the first time with a group of friends and wanted to just get regular polish on my fingers. Tina was very nice and it turns out she has a daughter I was In school with! But besides that it was pretty crappy. I don't remember her name who did my nails, but she did a lousy job. At first it took her three tries to understand I wanted French tip after me telling her slowly over five times. Her English was pretty bad and she kept yelling across the shop in a different language. At the end when I was paying ( $7 under 18yrs) it was already coming off before I left the store. I came back two days later to get it re done after trying to touch it up myself. Tina thankfully re did it her self for free and did a very nice job. It's a okay place if you make sure Tina does it. read more

The cheapest shellac manicure I've yet to come across in Seattle ($20), but you get what you pay for. Very limited and small polish collection, no swatches, mediocre service and less than friendly staff. My manicurist kept rushing the job and throwing my hands. She cut me twice. Literally a 45 second arm and hand massage with cold lotion. Fine job putting the polish on, but it chipped faster than any shellac manicure I've ever had. Never again. read more

Unfortunately my daughter was given a gift certificate for this awful place and tried a manicure here a year ago it was horrible! Still had a little balance on the gift certificate so she thought I will just try them again, AGAIN the most awful manicure from this place, polish all over her cuticles, she went in with a chipped nail came out with her chipped nail!! This was the worst shellac I've ever had. So bad that I had to go to another salon the same day and have it removed properly. The gal that did my shellac did not know how to do it and when it was done it was a mess. She then put out a bowl of acetone and had me put my fingers in it for 2 minutes. She then tried to take the top layer of my nail off as she proceded to scrape the shellac off. I only let that happen for one nail, stopped her and left. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My daughter and I went for a mommy daughter date and it was the WORST! There were two kids running around , fighting over an iPad the whole time. Two men slumped in a couple of the chairs just starring at us the whole time. My daughter (who is 5 yrs old) got a 2 minute soak before they pulled her feet out and painted them.. then did her fingers in another 5 minutes.... no foot rub.. no lotion... nothing. Then she had to just sit there for another 30 minutes with nothing to do while they painted mine. Oh and the paint lasted about two days before it was completely gone. Granted it was cheaper than most places but regardless I will NEVER GO BACK. The kids literally running in circles around us fighting was the worst. Pay a few more dollars and go to Roses nails on Alaska st. She knows how to do it right and the price is very reasonable... I should've just waited until she had an opening. I've been going to see Tina and the girls for about a dozen years now, and wouldn't dream of going any where else. I always leave there with great looking hands and feet. They are sweet, funny ladies there. The prices are low compared to other places. Tons of color choices, including several brands of gel/shellac. My nails last for three weeks, every time. I tried this nail salon for a pedicure for the first time yesterday. It was by far the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. The massage chairs were good but the pedicure I got from Amy was awful!! I asked her to use the "cheese grater" on my feet. She did one foot but not the other and the massage was more of a very minor rub. I was with a friend and we were amazed by the lack of enthusiasm she had. Very obvious she didn't want to be there. After the so called "massage" she began to paint my toes and I inquired as to if she was going to do anything with my cuticles. She didn't push them back, she didn't trim them, she hadn't even touched them. So she grabbed a cuticle trimmer and trimmed one tiny bit off of my right big toe and that was it. Then she followed up with one base coat and only ONE coat of color.. Two coats total and she was done. It was by far the biggest waste of money I have ever spent in a nail salon. I am usually a great tipper but I actually didn't want to leave her a dime!! I did end up tipping her but my tip was a reflection of my dissatisfaction.. I can only hope that some of the other gals do a better job. I, for one, will never return to find out.. read more
