I got highlights and a trim from Jessica yesterday. She was congenial and attentive as a stylist. I can tell she likes to work with people, which is always a plus. I was drowsy, so she got me a cup of jasmine green tea. While I sat there, I got to enjoy the comings and goings on the salon. Regulars trickled in for cuts and conversation. I got to see three children get their hair cut in that time frame. All of them seemed comfortable in the hands of their stylist - and they were all eagerly anticipating the complimentary treats that followed. Older clients came in and joked about how long they'd been coming to the salon and how old they were now as the stylist reassured them that they had the hair of a 20 year old. I was amused by the authenticity of their exchange and the shared commitment to the good natured exaggerations. A couple even came in to bring Tram a care package while I was glued to my chair accumulating my metallic sheen. I happened to overhear that she was sick. While there, the man got a trim because why not? He was at their neighborhood joint. Vibe check: A+. I would sit here for hours again to bask in the rarity of a thriving local business with a loyal, friendly clientele. It was like peeking into a whole new story with which I had no connection, like watching a sitcom - but none of the characters were a-holes. After foiling up, I went next door to get a pedicure while I waited for my hair to process. The woman who gave me that service - sorry, I forgot her name, but she has a bob haircut - was kind and assuaged my anxiety about my unshaven legs. She asked me "why should we have to always keep shaven? Men don't". Valid point. Plus, she said that people often shave before coming in and the pedicure process can actually can irritate their skin. Good to know. The pedicure was great. They talked me into getting my nails buffed and a simple shoulder massage as well. That wasn't the best service, to be honest (it was not the same woman who gave me the pedicure). I know they were just hoping to upsell me because it was a slow day. I get that. I wish I hadn't paid so much for it, but that's ok. It was clearly a pamper day for me. Back to the hair salon side I went. Jessica toned, washed, blew dry, and styled my hair in a surprisingly short period of time - or maybe it just seemed that way since I'd been there so long. Her swift work didn't yield sloppy results though. My hair was smooth, slightly curled, and far more presentable than I usually appear. She asked me where I was going now that I looked so lovely. "I told my friend I would watch her dogs", I responded. "What?? You should be going out!" she said before acknowledging that I was right about the dogs not being left alone too long and joked about how pretty I would be for them. Then I paid and headed out, letting her get to the next client who walked in. The dogs did not seem to appreciate the hours and dollars that I had dedicated to grooming, by the way. Guess that's juhow it is when you're around creatures that are naturally cute.

I am visiting from out of town and was recommended to come here, it was a wonderful recommendation! They weren't too busy so I was able to get in right away. I wanted a hard gel manicure (my usual) and they did a beautiful job! They also end with a little neck massage if there's time, which was amazing. The staff were very nice, the salon was clean, and they had a lot of polish color choices!

    French tip

Trams is consistently the best manicure in Seattle I will scream this into the void and to anybody who will listen. Always fantastic

She did exactly what I asked for! It only took two hours!

Root smudge, ash highlights, heavy on the dark hair, light on the highlights. $150 for partial foil, haircut, wash, dry, and style!

Very dissatisfied with the hair cut. The kids haircut was a lot shorter than requested. Not worth $30.

Does anyone know what happened to Amy who was a hair stylist there and where she went?

My girlfriend used to see Tina and is unsure who else is good here for cutting fine hair?

Worst hair color experience with Olivia…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Olivia. I was very clear before starting that the last time her twin colored my hair, I liked the shade and wanted it lighter or the same -- absolutely not darker. At the salon, when my hair was washed, I asked her if it looked dark. She said it was totally fine. I assumed the salon lighting or my eyesight might be misleading me. I didn't even ask for a blow-dry -- just a simple curl product -- but she spent less than a minute on it, which felt careless. Another red flag was that I asked her to color my eyebrows, yet at the end I noticed multiple color stains left on my face. She didn't mention them; I had to point them out myself and remove them. At the time, these issues were frustrating but manageable. The real problem became clear after I got home and washed my hair several times. My hair color is much darker than requested, and it's obvious the color was ruined. Looking back, I now believe she noticed the darkening issue but didn't acknowledge it. Fixing hair that's been colored too dark is not easy, and now I'm left dealing with the consequences of her mistake. Overall, this was a careless and unprofessional experience, and I would not recommend her for hair coloring.

Beverages are offered and they use great products. However my second visit was just a few days ago with Sarah. What I asked for I got the complete opposite. She gave me a blow out so my hair looked beautiful leaving but the next day washing it seeing my natural waves and curls and really inspecting the cut. I look a bit chopped. The front was not face framing instead she gave me 4 steps. The front is uneven and choppy as heck. My hair is gone so no way to fix that and wouldn't trust her to fix it tbh so I have to take an expensive loss. I cried all night yesterday just looking at the front pieces. Just embarrassing. I paid a lot and tipped very well just for it to look like an amateur cut my hair. Don't come here. I regret coming here as I looked better with my dead ends. I could've cut my own hair better which I have. This was supposed to be a pick me up to make me feel beautiful now 2 days later I am in regret not feeling like how I should and wanted. Sooooo expensive and terrible results. Also they could've been friendlier. I felt she got tired blow drying my hair. They are supposed to be knowledgeable in long, thick hair, curly hair, wavy hair. I wanted to choose this stylist due to her good reviews but I really cannot recommend her or this salon. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I am distraught. Don't come here as you will cry tears of sadness not joy.
