Gel mani and regular pedicure. The girl doing my hands cut two fingers on both my left hand. It hurt like crazy. First my ring finger, then after I pointed out that my finger was bleeding, she did the rest of my hand and cut my thumb. She gave my hand to put under the UV light, and I told her my thumb was bleeding. Instead of saying sorry or being apologetic, she asked me, "do you have sensitive cuticles?". ....... What kind of customer service is this? I even had to ask her to disinfect my fingers, at first she just tried to use a napkin to stop the bleeding. The girl doing my pedicure was okay, but she also cut my big toe. Wasn't bleeding, but definitely nicked my skin as my skin was bright pink and super sensitive. Will never be coming back. read more

Another great experience at Nail Secrets. While I'm not consistent with my nail routine, Nail Secrets is always consistent with their honesty and service. They were able to take me in last minute, and while I was in need of a mani-pedi, they were upfront about setting expectations for pedi only, but while there, they were able to accommodate both a mani and pedi. Not the place for dipping powder nail polish!!!! I was not happy with how puffy the polish turned out and was charged $60 for the dipping nail polish manicure (my own nails, not acrylic), no additional services. Please see photos. They also had a small selection of dipping powder colors which did not include red. I wasn't going to leave a negative review, but today, only 3 days later, the polish completely fell off of one nail & is halfway off another! Let me start off by saying that if I could give 5+ stars I would. When I first started coming here, Robin took over my nails. She's very good with SNS and is a very sweet and humbled woman! She's super down to earth and if you ever have the chance to meet her, let's just say you're the lucky one Ive also had the pleasure of meeting Nancy, she is a very nice too! She did a pedicure on me and cleaned my nails up very good. She cleans the cuticles.. & under the nails and makes sure you're ok. Owners are nice, only have had the chance to meet them once. I have never came across a nail salon that I've loved and that has caring nail techs. I'm able to grow out my natural nails, so I always looked for a place that truly cared about the health of natural nails and I never found one until now. Many of the girls from Nail Secrets have always done a good job on my mani's and pedi's, but now I only schedule my appointments with Sel. She is a great and patient technician. She has been able to keep my natural nails at a consistent desired length. There are times when I travel and I butcher my nails doing activities to the point where I don't think they can be saved, but Sel has miraculously been able to repair them countless times. She is great at doing designs and nail art. I trust her so much with my nails that I let her pick my nail color every time. And I ALWAYS get complimented on every color she chooses. The woman who gave me a pedicure did a nice job. No foot massage, no massage chair. Absolutely nothing special or relaxing about this place, but my toes look good. I was in and out in 15 mins. Here's why the low rating: I called on a Thursday for an appointment and they couldn't *fit* me in until the following Wednesday. When I got there on that Wednesday, the place was empty (shocker). So what's with the "by appointment" only garbage when ya don't have customers? There were three bored employees sitting around when I entered. Despite being the only customer I was asked to wait. I assume one of the bored employees was the owner, judging from her behavior. If I'm correct, this person was insanely rude to the nice lady who did my nails. What kind of person treats an employee (a PERSON) like that, for one. But in front of a customer? That's just dumb. For that alone no one should give this place their business. But the other reason is because the experience was about as epic as a trip to Rite-Aid for tampons. read more

The lady doing my toes didn't even clean up the skin around my nail or under it. Barely removed any dead skin... and spoke on the phone for more than half of the service. Also uneven toes. I get the small toes sure but my big toes are so uneven in length. Not worth $45. Then my SNS fill. That technician was on the phone the entire time! My nails are unevenly filed.
