Never heard that one before. Secondly the receptionist walked out before me. No one was counting cash or settling anything. I totally understand wanting to leave work early but I had not even 2 minutes left of my appointment. You need to understand as a business owner that this is not okay. However, last minute, I was advised that my appointment was canceled because the selected nail and lash technicians were unavailable. So, I rescheduled. I rebooked my appointment for that Saturday over the phone, specifically requesting that the owner do my nails. I scheduled services for nails, lashes, toes, etc., and planned to spend a significant amount of money. I booked in advance. Upon arrival, I was informed that the owner would not be doing my nails as she was having "surgery"- hence another technician would be doing them. I was very disappointed. After checking the schedule through the booking app, I discovered that the owner does NOT even work on Saturdays. The information I was given over the phone was inaccurate, and I was misled. Within four days, nearly all of my nails had come off. I kindly reached out for a resolution, but I never received a response. I'm sure I will receive a response below a mediocre explanation yet the pictures say it all. FYI: I did not have multiple discounts. The owner had a promotion stating "Discount after 4th visit". Yet- I paid the price with poor care. Discounts don't compensate for nails popping off. Unbelievable. DO NOT receive service here.

The same day, one nail completely popped off. I went back and they fixed that nail, which I already felt wasn't normal. The next day, another nail came off. I called and was told I could come in to "fix it," but at that point I was already questioning the quality of the work. Then, within the next couple of days, three more nails came off. In total, five nails detached within days of service. This is clearly not normal wear -- it's an application/prep issue. What's most disappointing is that the only solution offered was repeatedly "come back and we'll fix it," with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, no refund, and no offer to redo the full set, despite the obvious failure. Between the time wasted, the cost, and the frustration, this was a very poor experience. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this salon for Gel-X services.

With that being said, I got a gel French pedicure, but keep in mind I did not get a sugar scrub, hot towel treatment, or any extras however she still charged me $70 as if I choose a deluxe pedicure package. I should have spoken up, but I just wanted to get out of there. The environment is not warm or welcoming and they clearly take advantage and rip you off. I will not be coming back.
