Hopefully I can find another one who'll be more respectful and one who doesn't lie just because he's being a bully! This time this place gets a THUMBS DOWN from me and I give honest opinions based on how I was treated, professionalism & cleanliness. It doesn't matter to me if the facility is pretty and kept clean, but if you're going to mistreat your customers because you think you can bully them, NO! I will NOT RECOMMEND this place!

I was extremely unhappy with how my nails turned out and felt embarrassed enough that I had to book an early-morning appointment elsewhere to have them fixed. I felt bad speaking up at the time and leaving a negative review, but I don't believe the technician had the skill level needed for the service I received. She then tried to guilt me into staying because they had "waited for me," to the point that my boyfriend had to step in because it was so uncomfortable. If they didn't have time for my appointment, they could have simply said so. I've never been treated so rudely at a nail salon and will absolutely NOT be returning. PS - I also have no mean bone in my body so this review is coming from someone who doesn't raise their voice/doesn't like arguments. The whole time I was very kind and even apologized when she said she was ready to go home. This is the only reason I'm writing this review, I don't think it's fair to be so rude to customers when they're just here for your service. I went to a different nail salon, called them, went straight over there from your salon and got there 40 minutes before they closed, they were so kind and never made me feel like they were in a rush.

I wanted to treat my Mom for a mani/pedi for Mother's Day. I chose this spot because it's just down the street from where my Mom is living. I made an afternoon weekday appt for both of us. We arrived on time. No one really greeted us, or asked us anything. We just stood there for a minute, until a man pointed me to a vacant chair. They have 4 large chairs for pedicures. Two were already occupied, so my mom and I were not able to sit next to each other. That was sad, because the whole purpose was for us to do this together as something special. My mom sat in her chair with her feet in the water for 10 minutes before anyone started working on her. My mom is 80 years old, and her patience is not her strongest suite, yet she managed to keep it together. Again, it was sad because we were not sitting together. Plus now I'm 10 minutes into my pedicure and she's being ignored. Finally got someone to start on my mom...I was finished before they started on her manicure. Word of warning -- you have to tell them ahead of time that you want the mani and pedi at the same time, otherwise they'll have just the one girl do pedi first, then mani. During the manicure, the girl cut my mom's thumb with the clippers while clipping the nail. Blood everywhere -- they sprinkled some white powder from a little tube onto her thumb. I kept asking what it was, but they coudn't explain it. The pros - my pedicure still looks great after a week. Mom's nails also still look very nice. They do have a small parking lot in the back. The price was alright. The cons - What was suppose to be something special with my Mom, turned into a stressful situation. Between not sitting together, then cutting my Mom's thumb (and never apologizing), I don't think we'll go back. Also -- bring your own nail polish. Their's is old and limited supply. They had to thin the polish before using it because it was too thick. read more

I've been going to Polish Bar for a couple months now and I have to say that it's by far been my favorite nail salon. I get the gel manicure with Quincy and I'm just in love with it. I get compliments on my nails on a daily basis. The old place I used to go to did not go by who had appointments or anything like that which made me always wonder why they take appointments in the first place..I never have that problem here. Never have waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. Definitely recommend this place. read more
