Although I have been coming to Steve for some time now... I am sorry to say that will not be the case moving forward. Where do I start? For one, I am not writing this out of any anger or resentment I am just giving you a warning if you decide to switch to Q Nails you're in for a not so fun treat. 1. His prices are NEVER consistent and that is frustrating to say the least. He sometimes charges extra and makes up numbers and when I ask what for he mumbles something under his breath which is completely coherent. 2. He is constantly answering phones while doing your nails or stopping to accept payment. I'm sorry... how hard is it to hire a receptionist. This makes your nails take at least 15-20 minutes longer than it should. 3. Your nails will look fantastic but god forbid you don't like something. He'll throw a literal mini tantrum, play the victim, then blame you for getting upset. Narcissistic much? Yes. But I've dealt with it for a while since my nails always looked so good. 4. Tracy is GREAT if you want a pedicure. Nothing else to say. She's fantastic. I'm gonna miss her. 5. They're NEVER consistent. Sometimes your nails are fantastic and other times the work is extremely sloppy. Long story short... I'm sorry they never learned customer service. Love coming here! I found out about this place from my SIL. My sister in law used to drive from Pasadena to get her nails done here,They have a plethora of nail colors and types; a wall of colors! They do a great job! I'm pretty simple; I like to keep my nails short and clean. I usually get a hard gel manicure that's in muted/subtle colors like nude and occasionally some simple design like a little daisy or two; nothing too obnoxious & crazy. I love how Jason cleaned my nails and especially how he paints the gel color onto my nail; he left a very small space where they don't touch my cuticles!! My biggest nail salon pet peeve is when the nail techs paints all the way to the cuticle and they end up growing out in a weird way that snags which makes me want to pick at them. read more

However, they do only accept cash right now which I didn't know even though I made my appointment via phone I wish they had told me then. I always get dip powder and it looks so natural and thin as if I have a regular nail polish on. It stays on for 4 !!! weeks and my nails grow out with dip. As for cleaning While they have signs posted everywhere about taking cleaning very seriously I witnessed a nail tech half hazardous rinse the tools and put them back into use. None of the surfaces are cleaned in between clients. As for the service Judge for yourself. Just look at my set. The nails on my left hand are clearly shorter then the right hand. When I brought it up the the owner "Steven" about my dissatisfaction, he could care less. So I think it's very unfair that after all the detailed explaining I did about how I want my nails (because the tech kept asking me after each nail if I was ok with it) I still didn't get the outcome I wanted. I did French so one nail has a thicker white tip the other is slanted white tip one nail has smoother edges one is more sharp it's just a complete mess. But how can you think this is acceptable? A day after there is dirt and lint trapped between the gagged left over glue due to the messy application.
