We needed a whole-house deep cleaning for our guests that were coming within the week. On our cleaning day, Pedro was the first to arrive promptly at 9am. He introduced himself and asked what needed to be cleaned, and immediately got to work. He meticulously worked, detailing the bathrooms, dusting, scrubbing, and vacuuming. He was joined later in the day by Solomon, another polite, and efficient cleaner. The two worked on our home until it was sparking clean. They did a fantastic job and we could not be happier. I highly recommend Waikiki Cleaners for your home cleaning needs!

I gave Andrew a call to get a quote, he asked all the right questions, how many rooms, bathrooms, do you need help packing etc? On cleaning day, I left the keys and Oahu Professionals went to work and oh boy, did they go to work. They did a phenomenal job, they got into all the nooks, crannies, and everything else in between. They pay very close attention to the details and you can tell they take lots of pride in their work. After buying our first home, I do not think we will be moving anytime soon, but I may consider them for a touch up.

He chronically lied to me, he broke every term of the lease in the first week, he filed TRO's against me based on total lies such as shutting off the water, which I never did. He didn't even show up for that hearing. These guys were troublemakers and they did not care about my place at all, they either stole my stuff or disposed of it which consisted of all kinds of supplies, tools, furniture, my personal things which they would not let me take out before they came in. I had just remodeled the property and was going to move in it myself, and the only reason I rented to them was because he promised he would make my property clean and beautiful like he found it because he has the equipment to clean the carpets, windows, yards etc. They totally ruined the carpets, the house reeked like dirty dogs and they did not clean the place when I finally got them out by an eviction. I couldn't believe they treated me like this and failed to pay rent after the first month. Horrible experience with Talmadge and Andrew and I would not recommend them to anyone because they chronically lied to me.

I immediately began contacting companies suggested through my Yelp search for 'couch cleaning'. I was in contact with a few companies but Ohana extraction was quick to respond but most of all courteous and friendly. They had availability as soon as I needed it and I made the appointment. Marcus arrived promptly and had all of his equipment on a very nice neat looking cart that fit into my elevator. I made myself busy organizing my closet and gave him the space needed. The machine makes a little bit of noise but not enough to aggravate me or my neighbors. In under 3 hours my couch looked like it was brand new again! He used a protectant to coat the couch so next time there are spills it won't be so affected. I would like to commend Marcus on his hard work. My apartment has ceiling fans and no AC. He didn't mind it at all and I could see he put a lot of elbow grease into getting the job done. Thank you Ohana Extraction!

I called on a Wednesday and we spoke over the phone about the pet accidents that I wanted to be steam cleaned and deodorized. Marcus asked me a few questions to determine the layout of the space (at the top of the stairs there's a hallway leading to the master, etc.), and quoted me a price over the phone based on that description. He was able to come over on Friday, just two days after my initial call! Great turn-around time! Marcus graciously called me prior to his arrival and then again when he arrived. I appreciated the communication. He politely removed his slippers prior to entering my home, and began his work just after 9am, and by 12 he was all packed-up, including cleaning up after himself and his equipment. He utilized multiple sinks along the way and wiped down everything - wouldn't even know he was here! He did my master bedroom (kindly worked around my furniture), long hallway and the stairs. Total cost was $172. He got all the stains out and it smells and looks a million times better. I'm so bummed I didn't take "before" pictures, but the after pictures make these old carpets look brand new! Thank you again! Without hesitation I'd call "Ohana" gain!

The worst part was when I arranged this cleaning, I made sure I get a receipt upon payment but this did not happen. The guy just left complaining I am not patient. As I had to give a receipt to my management company, this was extremely important to have a receipt upon payment. Also, the level of cleaning was not good. It did not meet my expectations at all. I would have to take another hour to clean the floor to get rid of the dirts. I was expecting a professional cleaning but I felt like a person that does not really have experience. I was also expecting at least 2 people would come clean my unit. Considering the price, the cleanness and service are not really acceptable. The people that gave them a good rate may not have high standard for cleaning.

Jason promised that as…read morelong as we provided pictures with explicit details, they would use a binder, prepared specifically for our property to go room by room and leave the property exactly the way we asked, to include any details that we wanted like watering our plants and checking the internet service each time as a final check. None of this ever never happened and we had to constantly remind them to do things the way that we had asked. There was one instance where the cleaning and staging were so bad, that we had to bring in a 2nd cleaner who worked alongside me to set things up the correct way, all within a very short window between guests. I eventually discovered that "VacayClean" does not actually do any of the work. They only subcontract other cleaners from other cleaning companies to come in and do the work for them! This realization explained why it was actually "MaidinOahu" doing the work when we called. "MaidnOahu" gave us a very professional response and a full refund for this day, which we were thoroughly pleased with. We agreed to continue to work with them after they agreed that they had not held up their end of the deal. Then, when we contacted VacayClean to book the next quarter's cleanings, we were told that they had no availability. We felt that this was obvious retaliation since their subcontracted cleaners had eaten the costs, leaving us without a vetted cleaning service for our upcoming bookings. This was perhaps the most unprofessional aspect of this entire experience. Overall, the first couple of cleanings were good, but none of the stagings that we had agreed upon were. Eventually, and with constant coaching, they came closer to the standard that they themselves had promised, but it was still nothing like the quality and reliability we had been promised by an extremely convincing sales pitch. Summary: There are an infinite number of good cleaning services in Waikiki. VacayClean is not one of these services since they are a cleaning service booking agency. We did not receive the services promised. I do not understand any of these 5 star comments, perhaps they are employees or friends since this was absolutely not the same experience that we had.

We have used their deep cleaning and recurring services twice so far for a 4bdrm/2bthrm home, and already have booked again for upcoming cleanings. Jason is extremely responsive, and he even made suggestions on what home items we could use to save on costs in the long run, e.g. sturdy stone bath "rugs" that we can replace our white cotton ones with since ours get frayed and require constant cleaning, Citrus Magic Fallon showed us areas of the house that the last cleaner completely missed, e.g. parts of the stove under the burner grate, around the stove knobs, etc, and it was lovely to converse with them to learn some of their cleaning secrets/products. They are easy to work with and so far other reviews echo the same sentiments. We learned that they also do outdoor power washing services for the outside of the home, which we plan to do sometime soon. They can even do some outdoor cleaning if we need those services. Very happy with them, 5 stars for sure and would recommend to anyone else that needs cleaning!

Wayland gave us a quote and said the cleaning "usually takes 3-4 hours depending how dirty the place is". Noted. When they arrived I told them we had done a lot of the cleaning already. I showed him him we had already cleaned the floors, the bedrooms, and the bathroom. We mostly needed the windows clean, the oven clean, and some small details here and there, but otherwise everything was already looking pristine. They did what they said they were going to do and give them credit for that. They also finished the job in less than 2 hours and said they'll send us the bill. I referenced his initial quote and politely asked if there were any discounts available off the price since we had done a lot of the cleaning ourselves and it took them a lot less the the quoted 3-4 hours. I give you a direct response: "I ended up bringing 4 total guys to the job! That's why it finished a little faster as well!! Originally 2" I never asked him to show up with extra people, but kind of implies he would have charged me more if it had taken the full 3-4 hours with this crew. Whatever bro. Like I said, they did what they said they would do so I give them credit for that and I paid them the amount they quoted but simply put I have no intent to use their services again. Moral of the story: If you need a cleaning for move don't waste a second of your time doing any cleaning yourself if you plan on using this service.

We really liked Ingrid and Jesse the most from our in person interview, and hired them despite being close to double the price of the next lower bid because we had hoped to have them as our long term house cleaners. They came and cleaned the house doing a decent clean as if it were a general home clean but they did not do a thorough post-construction clean, which was clearly what they had estimated for. After the clean, there were tape residues left throughout the house on tile floors and counter tops (some shown below are more visible because of subsequent dirt accumulation). There were grout residues on most tile surfaces. And, several other small cleaning details were overlooked that shouldn't have been. As busy as we were during the move, I didn't address this until I received the invoice a month later. I needed her services because my Mom had recently passed and my condo needed some serious cleaning TLC! She sent a crew as proposed, however the scope of the cleaning project changed somewhat. Her site manager, Zenon, was wonderful at asking questions and being very thorough as we walked through my home. He offered additional suggestions where appropriate and listened to my needs. He was incredibly polite, kind, and attentive, showing incredible attention to detail with each new room we walked. Zenon reported back to Ingrid the small changes that he recommended based upon now being in the space, and Ingrid communicated back to me that everything was good to go. The team of three men worked hard the entire time. There was no down time - I could hear vacuuming and mopping and activity going on continuously. They were very careful with my personal belongings and respectful of my home at all times. I plan to use them for my regular cleaning needs monthly and for a future additional deep clean in about two or three months from now. Their customer service has earned my ultimate trust 100%. The total final cost came in at the lower end of Ingrid's estimated quote, and although I did not necessarily expect that, it was a pleasant surprise. Zenon also shared that they can move/haul away unwanted items. I know I will need their services in this area too at some point in the next year. One last thing: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Read that again. There is no discount when it comes to certain things, and I believe housekeeping is one of those things! If you are trusting professionals to do a good job, not break or damage your things, and wanting them to not use cheap chemicals on your personal belongings and in your home, you need to pay for it. The price I paid was the amount of my budget I had hoped to spend. Don't cut corners when it comes to this! I cannot stress this enough.

My tenant hired this company for a move-out cleaning based on the existing 5-star Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, the cleaning was far below what would reasonably be expected for a move-out clean. During my inspection the day after cleaning, numerous areas had either been missed entirely or cleaned inadequately, including the oven, refrigerator (inside surrounding areas), stove, mirrors, faucets, ceiling fans, windows, window screens, floors, and other details. Because the apartment was not ready for the next tenant, an additional $250 in cleaning had to be arranged and deducted from the tenant's security deposit after she paid this company $400 plus a tip for a very small 2 bedroom apartment. This was my tenants first apartment and first experience hiring a professional cleaner so she didn't think she needed to inspect the work before sending the payment. The really disappointing part wasn't just the quality of the cleaning--it was how the company handled the situation. I called immediately while I was still at the property to give them the opportunity to return and correct the work. After explaining the issues, the person who answered the phone ended the call with what seemed like a sudden hang up. My subsequent calls went unanswered. I later received a text saying the owner would contact me, but no one ever did. I really tried to give them a chance to return. The tenant then emailed the company with a detailed list of the deficiencies, photos documenting the condition, and a request for reimbursement of the additional $250 she incurred. As of this review, there has been no resolution, they never replied to her. Mistakes happen, and no cleaning is perfect. What matters is whether a company stands behind its work when given the opportunity to make it right. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. If the company reaches out, takes responsibility, and reimburses my former tenant for the additional cleaning costs, I would be happy to update this review.
