Can I just say top notch service from beginning to end. I was looking for couch cleaning on top of a stain that was in my car. Yelp did it thing and send out a message to different cleaners. Marcelo was quick and responsive. He was honest about not sure if he could get the spot out of my car and the rate for my couch cleaner was affordable. He came early and was ready to go. He is very and nice and even my dogs liked him. They usually bark at guys. After he did the couch, he took a stab at my car and got the blue ink out. I left message inquiring to have carpet cleaned, Marcello respond within 15 minutes saying he could come the next day to do carpet. He arrived right on time looked at my carpet and gave a quote. I waited outside while he cleaned the carpet he was done within half an hour and started putting away his machine. I looked in and still had visual stains he mentioned the discoloration in some spot, my only thing I preffered that Marcello would have done was to have me look over the carpet before he put away his machine. Because there was spots i would of asked to go over 1 more time. I felt he could've asked do you want to look over or would you like me to go over a spot 1 more time. Because after I waited awhile I went with a paper towel to wipe over and there was dirt still that was on the paper towel. I sent Marcello a message via the Yelp app and he responded. I asked for a quote and he gave me a quote of $150 for my area. I thought that was pretty good. I had let him know that I had a large walk-in closet and half of the living room that I wanted cleaned because of pet accidents. The area didn't actually have any visual stains and was pretty clean because I treat it upon soiling and I own a Bissell carpet shampooer. But I wanted a professional job for peace of mind. Marcello texted me to communicate and we set up a time later in the week. I was actually surprised to be able to get a appointment so soon. He arrived with his son and they got to work since I had already cleared the areas. The whole thing only took about 20 minutes and I was really pleased with his rate and efficiency. I pointed out two areas that had two visible stains: one was a rust stain from metal that had gotten rusty on the carpet, and the other was spilled Christmas tree water. He used a rust remover that nearly took out the stain and definitely lightened up the Christmas tree stain. I was very pleased and I wish I had gotten my carpet cleaned regularly while I lived in this apartment. My dog vomited a waterfall of straight up BILE all over my new, fluffy, 8 month old carpets at 8pm. I attempted but could NOT clean it myself. Marcelo answered quickly, although it was a bit difficult to hear him because it sounded like he was in the car. Luckily he had an opening on the coming Saturday. I found it odd that he didn't ask what services I needed, but I assumed he has all the equipment he needed in his vehicle anyway. I called the day before anyway to confirm the service. I love to drink red wine! The only problem is that when I drink a little too much red wine I become overly animated and very clumsy. We had friends over the other night and I spilled my wine on three separate occasions. We called them and asked them to please get it done before we move in. They simply didn't call us back. So at that point, we were screwed with only a couple days before our scheduled move. Marcello of Ohana CleanUp was one of several carpet cleaners I called. I was moving, so I needed a pro to clean the carpets, as stated in my lease. Out of all the cleaners I called for estimates, Marcello gave the best deal. He also returned my call promptly and seemed like a genuine and friendly guy over the phone, so I went with him. (FYI, he's a genuine, friendly guy in person, too!) Marcello wasn't prompt--he was early! He arrived at 11:30 am for the noon appointment. Within an hour, he cleaned the carpets in two bedrooms and the living room with a legit, heavy-duty steam cleaner. He also helped moved a few remaining pieces of furniture so he could clean the carpeting underneath. The carpet hadn't been cleaned since I moved in two years ago; after Marcello cleaned it, it looked as good as new! Note: I didn't have any stains, just high traffic wear. This dude is the shit!! I decided to use him based on all the reviews here on Yelp. I made an appointment with him for 10:30am and he shows up at 10:00am. My studio is approximately 350 sq feet covered with stains, dirt and things from a different universe. I was so worried that I would lose my deposit because the carpet looked like crap, but man...... he did a miracle!! and he did it in 45 minutes and charged me only $90. I was so impressed.
