I had put off getting our couch cleaned because it was expensive for probably 6-8 months longer…read morethan I should have but with a newborn I wanted to make sure everything was as clean as possible. I did a google search & Yelp review and found a few places. I compared estimates and even looked into renting a machine. I ended up going with M &M Upholstrey due to reasonable price and quick response time. Jennifer requested I text her a picture of the couch and got back to me with a quote within 10 minutes. It made me feel better it wasn't just a flat rate. They got me in within the same week and were very accommodating in terms of my time availability. The day of Scott called me to let know they would be running late with plenty of notice which I appreciated. They were only about 30-40 minutes later than the original promised time and easily spent 3 hours cleaning the couch I didn't consider to be that dirty. I don't have a before and after of the couch but I promise you it was nice before now it looks BRAND new. They were so thorough I went from feeling like a couch cleaning was expensive (but worth it) to bad I didn't have more cash on me to tip them. As they were carrying their equipment out Scott handed me their card and I asked if they also did cars for a different day. Because of recent heavy rain we had a leak in my car. They added in my car to make sure all the moisture was out as they were walking out the door. They were just as thorough on my car which as a new mom I greatly appreciated due to the mold potential. I do have a before and after picture however keep in mind "after" is still moist due to no fault of M & M the leak is still continuing to add moisture which we are waiting to have addressed. I highly recommend this company and we will be using them in the future as needed.

I recently had Advantage Carpet Care LLC clean the carpets in my living room and bedroom of my Kakaʻako condo on June 11, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. First, the two cleaners went to the wrong condo despite having the correct address. I had to wait for them on the street to ensure they found the right place, which was inconvenient. They were friendly and one was quite talkative, but the initial mix-up wasn't a great start. Upon arriving, they quickly assessed the rooms and provided a quote. One cleaner started spraying the carpet with a cleaner right away, while the other filled the large cleaning machine with warm water. There was an issue with the machine leaking from the bottom during the process, which seemed unprofessional. The biggest problem occurred when they rested the metal wand on my stainless steel refrigerator, causing it to fall and scratch and dent the metal door. They immediately informed me and offered a 10% discount, which I accepted, but it didn't fully compensate for the damage. They submitted a photo of the damage to their supervisor. When I inquired about why they were fiddling with the machine, they explained that it didn't have a clear view of the water level, so they couldn't tell when the dirty water was full. It's disappointing that they aren't provided with the proper tools to do their job effectively. In the end, I paid with a credit card and incurred an additional 3% processing fee. Overall, I don't think I will be using their services again. read more

The tenants from hell left our 3 bedroom apartment in Honolulu like a sewer. The 3-4 year old BEDROOM carpets were so disgusting I couldn't even bear to walk on them WITH shoes on. All I could think was - thankfully the rest of the house was tiled. We are planning to sell shortly so decided rather than replace the carpets now to have them trashed again we would spend the money to see if they cleaned up to a reasonable standard for another short term tenant before doing a complete overhaul including new carpet. Our friends said we were throwing good money after bad and just to rip them up they were so disgusting. I explained to Ted (Mr. Advantage Carpet Care) that we had no great expectations and to just do the best he could to see if they were "tolerable" for a new short term tenant otherwise we would have to replace them. My goodness - the cleaning job they did was UNBELIEVABLE. There is undoubtedly no need to even replace the carpets and provided the next short term tenant is clean, we may not even need to replace them prior to listing for sale - just get Ted to do a spring clean. I'd have given 10 stars if I could. Honestly, I could not believe the result. It was absolutely extraordinary and the service was prompt, cheerful and so reasonably priced. I could not recommend this service too highly and NO - I was not paid to write this review. Don't even bother to look further than Advantage Carpet Care. You will certainly not be disappointed. hi I'm Owen i was working with the company almost 3 years.This was the first job I have ever worked for and I am now seeing how other jobs are ever since I left. I see that there is a hand full of other cleaners that cut corners and don't care about the quality that they leave behind. Because they want to get in and get paid then go home. Some of the carpet I have seen after other cleaners have cleaned it is not the best and that's because it's not about the best detergent And that is where some companies are wrong for example advantage carpet care takes their time for every job they go to we go to one word called chat which means chemical a.k.a DETERGENT AGITATION and the most important one TIME and one thing that I know is advantage carpet care make sure every job gets that standar.Now there are some where one cleaning will not just do it because it's layers of soil and grease and dirt and gunk in the carpet that we step on packing that dirt oil and gunk in to a big lasagna deeper in the carpet fibers I have learned a lot and one thing I have found out is The advantage carpet care does not cut corners.like I've seen in other companies.So if I were to refer anyone to any carpet cleaning I would say advantage carpet care will not let you down so let this be the last advice I give to the loyal customers and future customers of advantage carpet care "Advantage carpet care will not cut Corners for no one"! read more

Want to say hands down very happy with the whole experience with Advantage Carpet Care (ACC) from start to finish will be a loyal customer for all carpet cleaning needs and if anyone needs service I will spread the word. I called their office and spoke with Ted, he was very nice and answered all my families questions and got us set up with an appointment 3 days later that fitted our schedule. I love that ACC is text friendly and I was able to ask more questions and send photos via text. We are moving into our new home with 1 Master room walk in closet and 3 normal size rooms with closets, long hallways a pretty good size den and about 18 steps in total and our carpet was in bad shape. Ted quoted us $784.83 as a estimate that was base off of the pictures I sent of our home. Owen showed up right on time as schedule and was our rep that cleaned our home. He did a great job and was friendly and very informative about the whole process from the start to the very end. When it was time to pay, the price ended up being $675.62. Trust me it was worth every penny. We will be moving in after the 24 hour dry time cant wait! See you guys in about 6 months to a year depending on how dirty it gets again lol. One of my favorite things is that the carpet takes like 2 hours to dry and it's not soaking wet.

When I made the appointment with Frank I mentioned all this and that all I wanted to do was freshen up my carpet without much water being put on it. I guess without seeing it he recommended the cleaning method which cost $225. I explained to Cris the same thing and he did the Hot carbonation water. I told him I didn't want too much chemical sprayed on my carpet as I am very sensitive to smell. He did a fast once over. It did take longer to dry than I was told that it would, overnight with windows open and fans. Overall happy with the job , but a bit pricy.
