I cannot rave about Kiwi Carpet & tech Nathan enough! Oh my goodness I mean I have hired many of carpet cleaning companies over the years and I get my carpets cleaned regularly, as I have a pet and what not :) But this is my second experience so far in a row and I am more than pleased! Such a great job, literally goes above and beyond than any other cleaning company I have tried. Nathan is so thorough! He's quite the perfectionist and so am I! Haha so I absolutely love that. They really have the best quality cleaning solutions, a variety of treatments for different reasons and or stains. So I'm beyond impressed and happy :) planning to be a loyal patron always! And will definitely be referring them to anyone I know.

These company here is amazing, called them and within 2 days the job was done...my dad has an 18 year old carpet and wanted it clean, it basically need to be replaced,but he wanted it cleaned instead, since I was paying for the service my wonderful dad add on the area rug, and this company did it, added it to the job, without hesitation. Usually this doesn't happened, services usually just cone for what they were scheduled for, but this company went above and beyond, by adding another job to what is already scheduled. I highly recommended Kiwi Carpet Cleaners. This was my first time hiring professional cleaners. Rex, the owner, was very responsive when reaching out for quotes and even after the job was complete when I had questions. Nate, the technician, called 15 minutes before our appt time to give me a heads up that he was on his way and arrived right on time. He did an excellent job cleaning my couches and carpet. I put out quote to several carpet cleaners, i got quotes without them seeing the large room and stairs I wanted cleaned. These guys messaged back and came and looked at the room the next morning. Then asked me if I wanted it done right now. I said sure. My carpet is 25 years old but I just had a grandson move out with his parents. The carpet had food stains everywhere... on top of that my poor fur baby was getting left out. They kept pushing the dog away from the baby. Then the dog was marking his territory. What a mess. I still have the dog and he is 10. I'm training him all over again. I'm not going to change the carpet until he is gone. That might be awhile. They were able to get up most of the stains. My carpet needed a miracle. And the smell is wonderful. Carpet dried quickly. read more

Awesome service! I called in the morning to request a cleaning on the same day. The owner was very nice, and scheduled a cleaning for my apartment 2 hours later. The carpet cleaning person was also very nice, and my carpet was fresh and clean afterwards, and smelled super good. It was $75 dollars for my small studio, and I would definitely call them next time. read more

The gentleman was very friendly and he did an amazing job! I had my puppy in that apartment for a few months when he wasn't potty trained and I was very nervous about having to replace the carpets. After stressing about finding a good carpet cleaner on Oahu, I was so relieved to find Kiwi Cleaning! Making an appointment was so easy and quick, and they stayed in contact in the days leading up to my appointment to make sure I knew they hadn't forgotten about me. When I wanted to change the specific details of my cleaning last minute, they were extremely understanding and I really appreciated all that they did for me. Great and professional service. I have used services in Hawaii before but now I never trust them if they do not have a Yelp account. Too many unscrupulous business people out there trying to make a buck. These guys are honest and fair and professional. The only thing was the guy was a little late but he apologized and it was fine. I hired Hawaii Water Damage Restoration to help me with water damage that happened to my apartment…read moreunit due to another unit's water main leaking. Getting a quote was easy and Marcos made scheduling the initial consultation and assessment super easy. He came to my apartment on-time and went through everything in detail. He carefully inspected all of the damage and walked me through what his thoughts were and assured me that he will document everything thoroughly so that the insurance companies will have more than enough information to accurately assess my costs. Based on the initial consultation, I thought this would easily clear $15,000, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that we came in under $12,000, especially for the amount of work that I was looking at. The quotes were also very detailed, breaking down each cost for the spaces I needed repaired. I was provided PDFs of these quotes for my own records and when it came time to pay, I was able to pay in parts when each part of the job began. Marcos and his team were also very patient with my work and travel schedules, always coordinating with me to make sure things were done not only in a timely manner, but in proper sequence and done thoroughly. Throughout the whole process, Marcos was kind, knowledgable, communicative, professional, and understanding. I was originally afraid that there was extensive damage to my unit because of how everything appeared on the outside, especially because of water in my circuit breaker. But Kory, the guy who was in charge of making sure all the moisture and mold was taken care of, not only gave me a very clear and easy to understand explanation of all the damage, but he actually was able to show me that the damage to my wall was significantly less worse than what we thought. I expected to lose my cabinets but thanks to Kory, I was able to keep them! He also made sure that a thorough job was done to dry out my apartment so the insurance company would see that we did things exactly by the book and that the water mitigation was thorough. He was incredibly nice, professional, and trustworthy. After Kory, Francisco their drywall specialist came in and did a quick and thorough job of repairing and replacing the drywall that did receive damage. Scheduling time with them was easy thanks to Marcos and Francisco arrived in a timely manner, once again making it easy for me on my tough work schedule. I received drywall work that was even better than what I originally had which was great. Francisco was efficient, professional, and did a excellent job. Finally, Leo, the flooring guy came in with another employee and did an incredible job with my flooring. Marcos provided resources to help me choose new flooring, which was done at H&C Flooring in Kalihi. Sophia was very helpful in recommending good colors and material. Once that was done, Leo did an excellent job communicating all of his work and showing me what was done and what still needed to be done. A big thank you to him as well for putting up with the amount of stuff that I had in the apartment still and moving it all around to do the flooring. He even came in on a Sunday to make good progress on finishing the flooring! Leo was incredibly thorough, professional, kind, and I really appreciated his work. Overall, my experience with Hawaii Water Damage Restorartion was excellent. Marcos, Kory, Francisco, Leo and the rest of the team were great to work with and incredibly professional. I truly appreciated their attention to detail, patience with my situation, and really making sure that I had what I needed for insurance purposes. As many of us were totally caught off guard during the recent Kona Low storm here in Hawaii we were…read moreawakened at 2:30 a.m. with water on the floor of our third level. How could that be? (PLEASE CONTINUE TO READ entire article) The lateral force of the wind and rain drove the water under our 3rd level deck and into the master bedroom. The volume was so great it leaked to the kitchen below. My daughter and I hauled every bucket we could find and placed them wherever water was dropping. My son who is a construction contractor in Seattle saw our videos and said, "Mom, get a sharp object and start poking holes in the ceiling of the kitchen ceiling to relieve the pressure or whole thing could drop down on you." We did it and unbelievable amounts of water fell into those buckets. After two hours I went online and looked up "Water Intrusion". Rescue One popped up along with others but we chose to call them. Their answering service took our call and gave us an arrival time for their employees. Approx. a four hour wait. We carried on until Paul and his assistant showed up we looked like two wet rats from a Halloween Party. They stepped in and started arresting the source which meant going on the roof. They were in and out for three days. They brought in some kind of 'sucking machines' which pulled the latent water between floors into containers which dumped that water outside. Kudos to Paul, his assistants and Rescue One Restoration. They are the real deal guys! Eventually repairs were completed which involved electrical outages with dishwasher, stove and light fixtures. The only minor glitch that occurred was the day they initially came to do the mold removal, they had to reschedule since they didn't have my signed authorization (something they could've easily done at the time when the appointment was initially made. At least they were kind enough to get some of the chrome frame polishing done so as to not waste that initial work day. My deepest appreciation for a job well done.

I found this company through Yelp and Christian quickly reached out to me. He was extremely professional, communicating clearly and always arrived on time like he had conveyed. He moved our (heavy) appliances and furniture out of the way to get his fans set up to start drying out the walls. He stopped by every day to check in on the walls and once things were looking good, he moved our appliances and furniture back where they were. Christian was quick, efficient, and helpful. This was the third time we've had this happen and without a doubt, he is the best professional we've had wh. Whatever he's charging is well worth it! Side note, we only had pictures of the water bubble but he also patched up and repainted the spots he needed to open up for the fans to dry inside of the wall.

Upon removing the guest bathroom toilet, the plumber found water leaking from the toilet wax ring. Upon removing the old paradigm flooring, installers found old flooring to be wet underneath and moisture leading down the hallway. Matt Wagner of Abbey Carpet was notified as all work stopped due to possibility of mold and mildew. Matt immediately called Premier Restoration Hawaii and Ryker Hyde came within hours. Ryker checked the complete area in the bathroom and hallway with his moisture reader and infrared imaging function and found no visible moisture or signs of mold or mildew and floor installation was able to continue 2 days later. Whew!!! Ryker advised spaying a preventative microbial application around the toilet wax ring as a precautionary measure before new flooring is installed. Ryker was so professional and thorough in checking and explaining everything to me, a senior who knows very little about plumbing. Ryker was so caring and helpful and did not charge anything for his inspection and work that day. Wonderful!!! Careless Work After Asbestos Removal -- Damaged My Renovated Home…read more I hired this company for asbestos removal. The ceiling removal and painting were done well, but everything else was handled with no care at all. My home was fully renovated before the project, and now I'm left with damages everywhere. The walls near the ceiling were scratched, and they tried to cover it up with paint that's a different shade of white, which made it even more noticeable. My door is chipped, and they stapled into my wood floors without removing the staples. The bathtub coating is peeling and chipped in multiple spots (see photos). It was in perfect condition before, so it's clear they didn't protect the area during the work. I've already spent 6 hours just touching up the walls, and I still haven't even started fixing the bathtub damage. For a company dealing with something as sensitive as asbestos, I expected professionalism and care -- instead, I'm left with frustration and extra work. I would only recommend this company if you don't care about anything else except the one thing you hired them for. Otherwise, be prepared to spend your own time fixing the mess they leave behind.

Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and effective in solving my problem. I highly recommend Oahu Windows and Doors.

Just had Kiwi come out again and do our new Waikiki Apt yesterday. It's a 500 square foot 1Bd apt on the 3rd floor. No elevator. I called around to compare some prices just to check, and Kiwi's was the cheapest at $95 plus tax. They included free pet deodorizing and there was no extra charge for them to haul their heavy industrial sized equipment up 6 flights of stairs. Our new puppy has had quite a few accidents and they managed to remove all the pet stains and also the smell. Also cleaned a few dining seat cushions at no extra charge which was nice. Once again a quality job at a reasonable price. My neighbor has a studio and they did her smaller unit for $70, and she was also happy. read more
