I left a key for them to get in my place and clean and came home to (what felt like) a brand new couch and carpet! Take note that they do not move furniture, but they clean around it, so I moved a lot of my stuff into my kitchen so they could clean areas that normally wouldn't get cleaned (under my ottoman, my peloton, barstools, etc.) It also was cheaper to have my whole place done rather than just one couch or upholstery because they have to carry all the equipment into your place regardless, so minds well get more than one piece of furniture cleaned. I began my search for a carpet cleaning company on Thursday, November 9, 2023, and came across Excellence Carpet & Cleaning. My main concern was whether they offered Hot Water Extraction cleaning for a two-roomed office, as the standard soft bonnet cleaning method, or "shampooing," would void the carpet warranty. I communicated with Cory through Yelp text messages and was grateful to receive confirmation that he could provide the requested service. I explained to Cory that it was required for me to receive an invoice in advance so that I could submit it to our accounting department and have the payment ready on the day of service. He agreed to this requirement and asked for my name, address, email, and contact information, assuring me that he would send the invoice promptly. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up response. So, on Monday, November 13, 2023, I followed up, kindly requesting an update on their interest and how we could proceed with scheduling the service date. I wanted to make sure I knew how to move forward. Cory apologized for the delay and promised to send the invoice right away. However, once again, there was no response from him. I even checked my email and spam/junk folders and call logs throughout each day since we've been communicating to be sure I haven't overlooked any missed call or email that may have contained the requested invoice. Out of courtesy, I followed up the next business day, expressing my understanding that he might be too busy or not interested. I thanked Cory for his time and decided to explore other options. Within a few minutes, I reached out to another carpet cleaning company, TCHIPA Carpet Cleaning, which I found through Yelp. To my surprise, they responded immediately by giving me a call and even offered to come to my office on Friday, November 17, 2023 Overall, my experience in finding a professional yet personable carpet cleaning company started off disappointingly with Excellence Carpet & Cleaning. She was very friendly and gave me a conservative quote based on what I described over the phone. In the end, the amount quoted was spot-on. No surprises. Both Lynn and Josh showed up several minutes early and kept to their allotted time. Which made it easy for us to plan our day. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they kept their equipment and area clean. Carpet was installed in 2014, but the installer never stretched it. It started rippling and buckling in several areas, causing permanent folds down the middle of the room. Thankfully, Lynn and Josh were able to stretch and re-tack all three rooms. The apartment looks clean and fresh, and smells like a new car! Amazing service from phone call to payment.

We are in the process of moving into my in-law's duplex. They're previous tenants had a small dog…read morebut kept the carpet in mint condition. There were no visible signs of fleas or dog fur but being that myself and my children have sensitive skin, we've decided to seek a carpet cleaner to steam clean and deodorize the carpet. The carpet also gathered and had creases in a handful of areas and needed to be stretched. We checked on Yelp and inquired with a different company but thankfully, Yelp sent my message to several carpet cleaners and I'm so glad they did! Lynn from MGM reached out and recommended us to contact Yvonne to get a better scope of things. My husband contacted Yvonne and she was super personable and friendly. She was able to arrange her grandson Josh to come and give an estimate the very next day for both steam cleaning w/deodorizer and carpet stretching. Josh was very communicative. He called to let us know that he was on his way so it gave us time to tidy the area and clear out the mess that was left. Josh was super polite. He made sure that he knew what services we were seeking and was able to point out the issues that he may run into & gave us the worst-case scenarios so we are made aware. The consult took about 45 minutes and he was able to provide a rough estimate. We were able to book him to come in the very next day (thank goodness) and again, Josh called to let us know he was on his way so that we can make sure the area was clear. He took about 2 hours to complete the carpet stretching and then had us inspect it and go over the areas that were a bit challenging as he suspected during the estimate. He made sure that we were pleased with the outcome before he started the cleaning process. He was able to complete both the carpet stretching and steam cleaning within a 4-hour period...all by himself! He was quick and took pride in his work. We're definitely going to utilize MGM for their services when that time comes!
